Was in save on yesterday garrison and it has always been my favorite location. Yesterday even more so because I witnessed a save on staff pull out their own debit card to help out a young man because his gift card declined. I've seen this young lady isebella quite often there I must say she has to be the best save on worker she always has the biggest smile on her face and is always a pleasure to deal with. Save on give her a raise because she absolutely deserves it

First time at this location and the staff was friendly and treated me with respect, Certainly will be shopping here again

Amazing staff, the diversity in food and baked goods that's made there is beyond delicious. Always look forward to shopping there.

Good place for a quick shop. Just couldn't find any pea soup. Also a good deli selection. Tough to find fresh scones.

OCT2022 I've been an exclusive Safeway shopper for ever. BUT, since I moved to BC, Save-On is excellent too - just stockup on sale & both stores compete equally with Walmart or Superstore - (which I avoid at all cost - and at all cost is a big deal because you end up buying more than you want and cycling through other depts). I like smaller "grocery" only stores - quick in & out, incl parking!

Great shopping experience! Associate pointed out that a product I thought was on sale was not & also helped me understand the point system. Extremely nice and patient. Much appreciated. Plus free eggs and cucumbers and chips. Bonus!

Gross. My 2 bi-racial daughters were treated so poorly by 2 women at the self checkouts. I had sent them in to grab some snacks, they took more items then they wanted, and asked if they could have them removed. The one woman was so rude about it. They felt like they were being watched the entire time like they were thrives. Absolutely disgusted.

Great store nice a selection. Great staff. They go out of their way to help. My favourite grocery store in town.

Convenient location with most everything you need in a pinch. Pricing can be a bit high compared to Superstore, and the More Rewards program seems a bit stingy, unless you capitalize on the promotional purchases found in the digital app. The self checkout lane has gotten a LOT better. It used to flag me if I didn't bag my produce or other products right away. For the most part, staff here are very helpful. It's a good overall experience here. Bread is $2.49 a loaf, milk is $5.50/jug.

Love the location of this Save on as it is close to my place and stocks Yerba soda. I love the wide variety selection of stuff they carry and they always have a good supply of everyone's favorite Melonas. Ever since they started stocking Fairlife milk as well I am always getting my milk supply from here.

Awesome store in genral lines are nuce and short making your shopping trip short and easy, honestly the lines always depend on the time and day you go thier, but otherwise this store is 100% must go thier.

Marginal at best. Over priced, no checkouts open but one. Clearly management thinks self check out is more important than staffed checkouts. Sad, very sad. Had there been 2 or 3 staffed checkouts open this place would be great. This review does not reflect the staff working here, but it is intended to highlight how frustrating and useless self checkouts are.

Not too busy. Fully stocked. What more can you ask for?

I like this save on, it's pretty easy to find everything, always parking, and located in the beautiful Garrison area.

The kids behind the till, boys not the girls, need to get off their phones. They shouldn't even have them on their persons when working.

Its a good place to shop.wish it was a little better selection of products! I'm just spoilt coming from N. Van.

Great customer service from Ian in the bakery. Completely made the situation right!

Super sad about spending $33 on a cake that doesn't look nice and wasn't made with care. No option but to take it as I don't want to waste all that food having it re-made. Plus, no time to have it re-made anyways.: (

I like this store so much, it has a community feeling! They are doing a good job keeping the flow of people moving.

Same oranges at the other save on 50 cents a lb cheaper 199lb 249lb no need to ever go here again.

I was there to buy a sushi but sushi in the SaveOn was not cost effective. I was satisfied with everything except it.

Really good sales so it's nice to check the flyer before you go to help plan your shopping list. Just bought a bunch if summer floaties for my kids and niece for camping on sale which is awesome.

Quit following me around for feedback. Don't want to have anything posted especially where I go during the week. QUIT THESE ENQUIRIES TRACKING ME. I'm not on on social media for a reason.

I like its where I get my Lactose free 2% milk in a 4L but recently they all other milk in but Lactose milk i ask a staff member he told didn't bother to look in the back when i told him there was none on the shelves the store member told me if its not on the shelves then it didn't come in normally when all the milk comes in so dose the Lactose as well he also told me it on next week shipment but when I had to go there to get milk for my mom the Lactose milk was there it was there the other day store member was to dam lazy to go to the back get the milk for the customer and to put some on the shelves.

We found what we needed and made it out within 10 minutes.

This save on foods is nice and not as big as others but has a really nice small town feel to it. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I just went there to buy grocery shopping, this is my favorite place from 3 years, but today none of people were maintaining distance while grocery shopping, customers dont wait for other person, no one was cleaning stroller handles, stores security have to request people to maintain distance please, thanks

Love that during this time of need the workers went and got another parent what he needed from the back for his tiny baby at home. Staff was amazing throughout the store. Well done. It was refreshing.

Can't get in off the rd only to run into big trucks in the one way blocking traffic. Secondly.couldn't find a product and employees had no clue and made up things like. " They don't make it anymore" lol it's been made for decades but they were too lazy to look. Easy excuse. I'll shop at Safeway now!

Superior store filled with first rate products. Friendly helpful staff. Clean brightly lit. It would be perfect if the prices were not more than Superstore. The shopping experience might be worth the extra cost.

Good deli selection, well layed out store, very friendly staff. Within walking/short drive of UFV trades and JIBC, so a good option for a healthy cheap snack/meal at lunchtime.

Big selection of fresh fruits and veggies, noce variety of organic in both, good customer service and satisfaction.

Excellent customer service and I LOVE that they have dedicated designated Veteran parking up front! Way to go Save-On!

Smaller save on foods, OK selection, but if you want a bigger selection, try one of the other stores.

The staff are really nice and helpful.
Would be better if they would hire people as cashier's, at least at the busy after work rush.
Maybe pay more than minimum wage.
And get rid of the do it yourself machines.

Store opens at 7 am.
Yet absolutely nothing in the meet counter.
Just 4 staff pudding around and having a nice chat.
No acknowledgment that I was even there.
So they lost 50 dollars in sales.

Very nice and clean, well stocked with fresh produce, although I dislike is the parking lot and actually getting into it from the road. Don't get me wrong, there is ample parking within view of save on, but the way its routed makes for driver frustration. With that being said, the access is great if you live at garrison crossing, which is still quite new as real estate goes, and very well maintained.

Also, the prices are sometimes a little high which I suspect is because of the fact that at this end of town, there is not a lot of competition, and perhaps because of the residents of Garrison who tend to be more middle to upper middle class, especially when compared to areas around it.

If you care to make a day of it, one may find several places to eat, have a coffee or pick up some wine for your evening guests, as well as a credit union and bank machine all within walking distance and within the same complex.

So, I give it four stars only for accessibility, and 5 were it for the store by itself only.

An interesting historical note:

The metal structural piece on the sign above the entrance to Garrison Crossing was once a part of a military Bailey Bridge,
Which in turn was used as the side rails on a platform which became the home of the Sherman tank "Carolina". When the museum she belonged to was relocated, the Sherman went further down Kieth Wilson to the military base, where she can be seen today.

Just wanted to give a positive interaction I’ve had with one particular employee at this location for a little over a month. Her name is Karen. Whenever I’ve seen this particular person, she has a smile on her face, whether she is stocking or at the register. Though I did not see her last week, slightly sadden as I look for her. Turns out she was just away. Previously at this location I would say not many of them smile to customers but this lovely woman is super. Just thought to leave a positive note. You are doing a great job Karen!

Sometimes they got good deals most of times are ripping people off to drive prices up like a bag of 10tg sugar is $15 that's ridiculous it should be 999 why are they so greedy

I am at the delie getting some pre-cooked chicken breast the girl couldn't speak English.how can she serve the customer.it was terrible.asking for two chicken breasts and she keep giving me chicken wings instead.
