Schell Motel

Motel very run down, broken light shades, needs a complete facelift. Look elsewhere. Some trying their best, manager unconcerned with issues. This used to be a nice place, no more.
Either bed bugs or fleas in the bed, killed 6 and left one body for unconcerned manager. The window casings are filthy and the glass in the stove was broken.

The owners of this motel are so so sweet! I loved staying here. They offered to change the pool temp when we were in it incase it was too cool/too warm. They also asked us if we needed anything whenever we would run into them. I had a really nice time talking to the woman who runs the places she is so nice! I would stay again:)

Quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The room was very obviously not cleaned before it was given to us (dirty dishes on the counter, bed not made, a nice layer of grime in the shower, bed bugs), management was informed but they basically just shook it off as no big deal and tried saying that the moving black dots on the bed were a makeup stain. The room was completely unacceptable so we left and management refused to give a refund since we already checked in, despite not staying in that disgusting room for any significant time. You'd be better off sleeping out back behind the dumpster, both cheaper and cleaner

The management is horrible, we stayed there for a month and had issues with mice and the manager did absolutely nothing to help with the problem, the price is absolutely ridiculous for the size of rooms. Not to mention they have the audacity to enter your room and move stuff around when you’re not in the room

Very clean motel with a pool and BBQ, Great stay in Vernon and Okanagan! The family running the establishment is authentic and really care about there guests! Thank you!

Sorry but it gets half a star, we wouldn't dare go back, booked 2 nights, left early, they got a free night out of us, that's how good it was! This place is a transition hotel and is not supposed to be rented to the public.

I've stayed here since in I was a child back in the 80s. One of the best places for a getaway. I remember playing volleyball in the pool, using the slide that was beside the river, diving in th water. I'm miss the dolphins in the pool.

Amazing place to stay service is very good and the guy at reception was very friendly. Pool is clean and nice they even open pool early for us and let us checkout late i will definitely come back and recommend this place

Vin and his wife are fkn adorable they're honestly awesome people and the bed and pillows where super comfy 10/10 service

Decent location but recommend looking elsewhere. Questionable cleanliness. Initial room I was given was not suitable, and had incomplete renovations. After mentioning it, another room was given, however, of questionable cleanliness, and not worth the money paid.

Manager was reasonable and fair when shortening reservation. Manager returned deposit and extra night at hotel. Clean, quiet and respectable establishment fair pricing.

I didn't like the show motel I found that the staff were ignorant and pretentious and judgmental the rooms were clean and well maintained small but expensively priced

Went there at 1 pm to book a room, there is a paper on the door which says "I'll be back in 10 minutes" call them says come back at 3, which I do and still nobody there with the 10 minutes paper even if it's been 2 hours?
