Want to downtown kelowna branch for business deposit
There was no teller and lady try to tell me do deposit in machine
I asked her branch open till 5 pm and she said after 3 pm you can only deposit thru machine.
What's point to keep branch open if we have to do business transactions thru machine

If i could rate no stars, i would definitely do. Extremely slow service. Only one person was helping the customer and she Doesn’t even know properly. She was asking for help from others. Ridiculous! Waste of time

I don’t even wanna give 1 star. I have some issues in my transaction visit Scotiabank didn’t get any help and called them 9 times … explained everything to different person again and again … but I did not get any help… this is so disappointing.

So why have atms if you are gonna lock the atms out from access on the weekend? This company has gone steadily downhill.

Here is yet another poor review because of abysmal customer service. This was my second attempt to deposit a money order/bank draft for my husband into his business account after receiving horrible customer service at the Dilworth branch. How could it get worse? Well it did. I explained that I simply wanted to deposit a bank draft into my husbands business account. I had all the necessary tools to do so. While making the deposit I explained that at the previous location that they were going to put a hold on it because I was not the person on the account and that they did not even seem to know the difference between a cheque and a money order and how frustrating the experience was. Their way of handling this was to have 2 other tellers come over and tell me that I was not to ask about holds as that information was private. I explained that I wasn’t asking for information, I simply wanted to deposit a money order that is the same as cash but had been told that they would hold it because I was not my husband. I was then spoken to as though I had never been to a bank before and that I was not to ask any questions regarding his account. This information was private. I explained that I didn’t want information I wanted to deposit this bank draft. I was simply explaining what just happened to me at the Dilworth location. I was then repeatedly told that they would not tell me if there would be a hold or not because their policy is not to disclose that as it is private information. At this point I’m beyond frustrated at this miscommunication and explain again that I am not requiring any information I just want to deposit this money. I was then told that I wasn’t listening and said the same thing to me again slowly because I don’t understand
I said please, I just want to deposit this bank draft to all 4 tellers who were now in front of me. The response “we will but we won’t tell you if there is a hold”. I was then required to provide ID and told again not to ask any questions unless my name is added to the account.
I can’t even with these people! One branch tells me there is to be a hold and the other tells me repeatedly that they can’t give me private information when I haven’t even asked for it.
Please note all the 1 star reviews and do not risk wasting your precious time with this type of service.

I have not found the staff at this branch up to the USUAL SCOTIA BANK LEVEL in either knowledge or courtesy. They make little effort to address any unusual occurrences regarding your account or bill payments and transfers excetra. The bank machine has often been unaccessible. I much prefer the service NOW provided by the much friendlier Lakefront branch on Pandosy. OVER THE LAST YEAR THIS HAS BECOME A VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY Scotiabank branch. J

TERRIBLE! I've been in numerous times in the last while trying to straighten out the screw ups that Scotiabank caused in the first place. The teller i was "blessed" with refused to even try to carry out a transaction at my request, tried to pawn me off on someone else the next day and then CAT CALLED me as i made my way out of the branch.to add insult to injury i had an appointment with the next day to discuss my line of credit and she couldn't even be bothered to show up on time. NO ONE CARES at this branch and it shows.want to be treated worse than trash? You'll be at home here.

Outstanding service and such a clean and quite professional environment. Their staff is informed and educated, warm and responsive. Karla is number #1. Jorge is such a pleasure to converse with and oh so helpful. I have been with scotia bank for a long time as well as other banking institutions.well done you guys keep up the good work. Brittany Shapitka at Kelowna Main location was extremely helpful with a rather complicated problem I was having. When I called Scotiabank customer service I had little to no help with my situation. Brittany was professional, efficient and even stayed late to help me with my problem. She kept me updated with any new information she received and made sure my problem was dealt with quickly. Excellent customer service!

Tried calling the branch but ended up on the "national never answer" line.

They are sending mail to my address - for someone that has never lived here. Facebook rep says they won't stop sending it cuz I am not the account holder.
Crazy that they intentionally continue to send a customer's mail to someone else, especially considering the amount of fraud being reported lately.

Useless. Not only would this branch not help me with a scam situation I had, (even tho they are my bank), as well as they wouldn't provide me any help with getting a hold taken off a work check, even though this is the branch my work directly deals with and would of easily been able to get it cleared. All I was told was to go to my main branch which wasn't this one. Save yourselves the trouble and just don't do your banking with Scotiabank in general. Will be switching banks ASAP.

It took 4 months to close 2 accounts that were not in probate, assistant manager pat and the so called manager (ya right) whats her name, incompetent liars, should not be in charge of scotiabank downtown!
