Don't waste your time entering this branch. I walked in to the immediate teller near-yelling at an individual regarding their bounced mortgage payment- as if now that's everyone else's business, too. I asked if they would assist me in a charge that missed my account to which I was told the teller never heard of that, and dismissed a second time by the supervisor for telling me what I already knew. I left feeling let down and wondering if I'm banking with the wrong institution. I phoned the number on the back of my card, and they helped me, no questions asked, in 5 minutes. This branch is useless, their staff are miserable, and they need to get a grasp on human-to-human contact. Thanks for nothing, Scotia on Yates!

Seems like one thing after another with this bank, making bookings that when you show up can’t be fulfilled due to the advisor not being there, half of the time you can’t access the ATM because of the “short term renovations” or you wind up waiting in line for half an hour even though you are second in line.

Tried to walk in at 9.27 for my booked appointment that after finally getting in apparently didn’t exist but after no real apology they go hey it’s fine we can discuss your finances in the lobby in front of everybody.

Customer service needs a real overhaul.

I stopped in to use the ATM and it smelled like a barnyard. Clearly homeless and other challenged people are using it as a bathroom. You should have security or at least cleaners looking over the ATM area.

I had the utmost displeasure of being witness to the worst customer service I have ever seen from a bank manager and bank practices in my 53 years. The manager of this bank, Jackie, is an extremely rude, unhelpful, vexatious woman who shows absolutely no empathy, care, attention or facilitation skills whatsoever. I attended a meeting with the bank manager with my friend who was requesting a wire transfer for a personal purchase. This bank manager took a 'personal' vengeance into her own power and authority using her position to disable and frustrate an extremely important real estate transaction. The lack of unprofessionalism shown by her deserves less than a one star, the reputation of this branch is damaged by her presence. Hard to believe someone like her is at the helm of the bank.
