Scotiabank

I'm a new SB customer. Signed up online, it put this locale my home branch. Went in for the first time at about 2pm, didn't get inside until about 230, commercial st is the worst for parking. I circled a cpl tines before remembering they have an entrance off of Terminal Ave, with a few more parking stalls. There are signs out back saying parking for scotia bank.but you can't get into the bank from that side, just the ATM. I had to circle back around and go up and down the street a cpl times before a spot became empty. (I have mobility issues and can't park far and just walk over, I'll be in pain for the next few days).
I guess they were training, there were 3 tellers helping 1 customer, leaving only 1 other teller. With 1 person ahead of me and 7 ppl behind me, just didn't seem very efficient.
Glad I don't have to go into the actual bank that often, this place is just brutal!
Why not open the back doors again? Customer said they locked them when covid hit, were healing and want to get back to normal, open the back door again.
The teller who helped me was nice and handled all my issues very quickly.

People are great here! Always super helpful! My email gets returned next business day. They have helped my kids get their accounts going. Love this bank!

What kind of bank closes at 330 during the week? What kind of bank is closed on Thursday? This bank. This bank is horrible.

Okay so here's the deal. The staff themselves? Totally fine. The hours for this branch SUUUCCKKKK so badly. Closed at lunch, when most people actually have time to go to the bank AND on THURSDAY on top of weekends and closing early? ! WHY IN THE NINE HELLS ARE YOU CLOSED ON THURSDAY>: (

Why is it always so difficult to get to talk to somebody at the ACTUAL Branch!? Every time I call I am re-directed to a call centre. I can NEVER seem talk to someone actually working at the branch. All I wanted to know is if their hours are going to change again this week due to downtown festivity closures. Last week I arrived at 2: 30pm only to read a sign in the window telling me that the branch had closed early at 2pm. I live 30 minutes drive away from the (closest) branch.
When someone calls my business I answer the phone.
Service once inside is good.

Left three messages, one with the bank manager, no returned calls. Even called in on Friday and was informed the manager would call me back on Friday afternoon. Still waiting. Glad I do not use this bank for my usual banking. No customer service whatsoever, although the teller listened to all my complaints.

I always got great service at this location from all the staff working there. Short to no wait time, efficient and capable.

Not to single out this branch but scotiabank has just absolutely terrible services. Would never recommend

Doors attached to Parking lot permanently locked… atms locked at 5 so if you need cash better have no issues paying a huge service fee cause you’ll have to use another company’s atm
