Extremely disappointed with some of the staff at this branch. The Manager speaks in the language Punjabi out loud to the customers and even the teller. Which country are we living in? Isn’t it disrespectful to speak in a language that others don’t understand? There should be a policy in organizations to only speak in English/French. So glad that I closed my account with this bank.

Management should really think about customer service. They should put more people on teller line. Two tellers are not enough to serve 11 people that are waiting eagerly from an hour. It’s very disappointing to wait in line even for a smallest thing.

I was here today and the way these employees treating people was do racist and they handpicked people specially person call Ms. Rozzaine
Waited just 30+ minutes and they told me to wait because The Manager was having a chit chat with the colleague in that time period. Hope the higher Management of this Bank will notice about the service of the Branch too. Not Recommending for anyone

I have came here a few times and everytime i leave unsatisfied. They are very unprofessional and they dress unprofessional as well. Does not look like i am walking into a professional setting. These guys always say something else after having to come back with the right things they ask for the first time. Wrost bank. Switch to BMO its better!

Only two employees working at this branch all the time same issue. There were around 25 people those were waiting in line. I wait more than one hour. Really you can easily waste you one hour here.too bad

On Thursday Sept 21,2023 there were 14 customers patiently waiting to be helped but there was plenty of tellers just sitting around and not helping anyone. There was actually 5 tellers "working" but only 2 were actually helping customers. So they were really slow and didn't anyone. This place was trash

Worst branch. I wish I can give 0 stars. Only 2 tellers are working any time I visit. People have to wait 30 to 45 minutes and they don’t even care about that.

I went to Scotiabank for an appointment with Tanya Sharma, who is my investment advisor. However, Muskan Verma came instead and told me that Tanya Sharma was not working there. She was very unprofessional and disrespectful to me. She spoke in English and Punjabi, and gave me the attitude that I did something wrong by opening an account in this bank. She also threatened to call the manager when I told her “that’s the worst thing” in Punjabi, but she didn’t have an answer when I asked what I said wrong. I am very disappointed and upset by this incident. I expect a high level of customer service from Scotiabank, and Muskan Verma did not meet my expectations.

This branch sucks have not transferred my spousal RRSPS to Bank of Montreal and nobody knows what the Delay is.and now it's already 6 months. THE PERSON DEALING WITH MY TRANSFERS SHOULD BE FIRED! I HAVE BEEN WITH THIS BRANCH FOR OVER 30 YEARS.

Worst bank, doesn’t want to maintain any transparency. On top of that, very rude staff at this branch, the lady named Karlene. Never seen such rude Canadian till now. RBC folks are much more polite.

The old Punjabi security lady (not girl) working there was really rude and impatient. She doesn’t know how to politely talk to customers during lineup. Her way of talking is literally impolite and insulting.

Very very bad i have account in this bank from more then 27 years they hold my check for 5 days i went there so many time to talk to them because i need to make draft for my house deposit lady.assistant manager told me she will call me later she said manager in meeting never called me back, she is rude.i will close my account with them in few days.

I had tried to book an appointment for a financial advisor online and then through the call center. I kept waiting for a call, but both times, no one called me. I wasted almost 1.5 hours on the first day and booked again through the call center. The next day again wasted 3 hours a second day waiting for the call and then holding different persons in the call center and branch. Don't know what's going on in Scotia. Call center don't even know, where in person appointment should be booked. They booked me at 72 Ave and King George Blvd, and their branch called me that they can't take me in. Now, I am waiting for an in person appointment. As per call center on phone and in person is different. So what it means is that booking appointment for on phone call is not as important and they let the person wait! What a system? There is no way to talk to any senior or branch manager. Call center cannot forward the line to them. And if you want to contact in branch, there are so confusing phone extension options that you always will end up at call center.

I recently had an absolutely dreadful experience with scotia Bank that I feel compelled to share. The level of customer service I received was nothing short of appalling, leaving me deeply frustrated and disappointed. After depositing my work check on Friday, scotia Bank decided to freeze all my funds for no reason at all. Not just the check i deposited, but everything everything was on hoId. I had to cancel my family trip on Saturday morning. To begin with, contacting the bank's customer service helpline was an absolute nightmare. The wait times were absurdly long, and even after enduring the lengthy hold, the representatives I spoke with seemed completely disinterested and unhelpful. It felt as though they were merely going through the motions, lacking.ny genuine concern for my inquiries or issues. FOR 3 DAYS I COULDN'T USE ONE TRANSACTION NO GAS NO FOOD (NADA) AND IM THE F. K. NG MAIN INCOME OF MY FAMILY. I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL MONDAY

On monday, the bank's staff closest to place told me that they can do nothing, and that I have to go to my mother branch 45-minute drive to demonstrate a complete lack of knowledge and competence. Whenever I asked specific questions or sought assistance with a problem, they either provided incorrect information or gave vague, noncommittal responses that did nothing to address my concerns. It was clear that they were ill-prepared and poorly trained to handle customer inquiries effectively.

In addition to their incompetence, the bank's agents lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. KARLENE WAS rude and super loud
everyone in the branch heard about my story (more like bartender approach, not a gentle bank agent lound and rude).
Overall, my experience with scotia customer service was a complete disaster. Their lack of professionalism, knowledge, and basic courtesy was deeply disheartening. It is disconcerting to think that a financial institution entrusted with people's hard-earned money can treat its customers with such indifference and incompetence.

I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before considering scotia as their banking partner. The customer service experience I encountered is indicative of the bank's overall lack of commitment to its customers. There are numerous other banks out there that prioritize customer satisfaction and offer a far better banking experience.

I was recently scammed, after which my account was frozen. When I went to my local Scotiabank branch I was told everything was fine and my account would be fixed immediately.
A week later it was frozen again. Annoyed I went back to my local Scotiabank branch and was told everything was fine and my bank account would be fixed immediately. A week later my account was frozen, you get the picture. A total of five times I had to go to the bank. If you’re rich they’ll kiss your feet, but for everyone else I would avoid Scotiabank at all costs.

Time for truth! I’m only writing this review for Himani Randhawa. She is amazing at her job and extremely efficient. So a quick backstory, I had gone to the branch about a week ago to deposit cash but the ATM machine ate it up and the funds were not deposited into my account. Sadly it was a glitch with the machine which mentioned “deposit error” at that time. So as any sane person would do, i made a call to the customer service department and they told me I will be getting the funds within 2 business days and i do not need to contact anyone for that. Guess what, 3 days pass by and NOTHING! I called again & was informed that I need to visit the branch, which ofc I did. And again, I was told by the teller at the branch that I’ll be contacted and I would have my funds in 2 days max. But ofc, the incredibly efficient staff did not respond as the week went by. Finally, today I get a hold of this person “Himani Randhawa” and she was able to help me with the whole situation in about an hour. I had my money in my account within an hour and as promised by her, she did contact me about it. Overall this branch SUCKS (excuse my language) except if you’re fortunate enough to have Himani as your associate. There it is for me! Will never be depositing any more money in their ATM machines which btw are usually out of order.
