My recent experience with this branch has been extremely frustrating. It's evident that the staff has no understanding of basic banking procedures. When I tried to communicate with them, it felt like they were doing the complete opposite of what I was asking for. It's been an awful experience, and I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone.

My appointment was at 3: 45pm and I had to continuously ask the front desk to check why nobody’s still showing up to help me until 4: 30pm. Finally, when someone else showed up, she was so annoyed or upset to see me, constantly rude while I asked questions. Not even in a position to listen or help to the simple questions I had. They even went and canceled my appointment on their own without even consulting me.

There are 13 prople in line there is 1 teller, its the middle of the day, it's been 35 mins. They don't care. Update 8 months later. Super slow, they do have two people on but one is training so the other just helps them constantly. It's 3pm and I've been here for 40.yes 40 minutes. Only one person has moved in the line so far. Poor management.

Worst experience till now
We t there to deposit some cash and in middle of depositing machine showed an error so i went inside to talk and they saod the machine is showing problems from couple days
these guys didn’t bother themselves to put a note on the machine and i needed money really urgent but now got stuck for next 24 hrs.
Don’t ever visit this location please

They are not solving the problems very well on my bank account. The front desk manager with curly hair is aways impatient. Only Cantonese and HK customers are their “really” customers because they are big customers with cash and small business. They are not suitable to be a home branch. Treat equally between Cantonese and non-Cantonese customers.

Booked a phone call appt, was never called. I had to go through customer service just to get the financial advisor's number but went straight to voice mail. Apparently the appt was moved to a time at 5pm but they're closed at 4! I was never notified, no one ever followed up with me. What a waste of time.

This is the Scotiabank branch my family has been banking for nearly 30 years. Staff changed many times but their services remain excelent. Financial advisers are very professional and care of the interest of their customers. Especially, I would like to mention Financial Adviser Brian Hou, who is very dedicated to his job, provides professional advices to us, and very patient to our numerous requests. Thank you, Brian! You are the best!

The lady at the front desk with curly hair (not the teller) was very rude and dismissive. Had airpods in while we were talking. Was not interested in hearing the problem and just kept saying to call. She seemed like she did not know what to do so she just passed the blamed.

The staff here was so good at understanding customers problem especially one of your staff ‘ mahima ‘. She solved all the problems and guided me correct when I was having a problem with my checking account.

What a joke! Now I know why this branch has a super low score. How could they assign only ONE representative on Saturdays? Do they really think people won’t go to the bank on Saturdays? - Updated on April 1,2023: I had to change from 1 to 5 stars because of such an improvement. They have more staff now and they all are very attentive, friendly and providing great services to all customers I saw while waiting there.

I was visiting at this branch for business and Mrs Elman Eidehimi was helping me to reset my on line banking and she really tired hard even with lots of difficulty. But with caring, she get it done.

Went there to talk to mortgage specialist, a week later no email or call back. Went to another bank.

Be mindful if english is not your first language: theres a front desk lady working there that will make fun of your accent and be very disrespectful to you. If you can, go to another Scotiabank
