Do not go here unless you have 30 minutes for them to process deposit on 1 cheque.they need to train employees properly.unacceptable

Update Dec 21 st 2023 went in 2.15 pm, was there over 30 minutes to get a cheque certified or a wire transfer done, then to find out nobody in the branch had authority other than the manager who was not in. I do a lot of business dealings with Scotia, (which are great) but this branch is terrible, If you value your time, DO NOT go here, they might as well lock the doors when the manager leaves as nobody else has authority to do anything. (I did leave without getting the cheque certified or bank draft done, i made other arrangements with Scotia head office.)

Disappointed, I work in the same area and I finished at 4: 45pm. I run to the bank at 4: 50pm just to pick up a letter. Kristoffer was very unkind, unpolite and very rude. He closed the door in my face despite the fact the banks hours stating on the door close at 5pm. I still had 10 minutes before the actual schedule.just to pick up a letter. I just want the agents from this branch to understand I am working too, no need to be mean or act in this manner. People like agent Kristoffer make the worse branch!

Thx! We stayed a full 20 minutes after the end of the working day to resolve my issue regarding the card.

I had a meeting with an "advisor" and provided documentation to set up an estate account on May 9,2023. It is now Aug 8,2023 and there still is no estate account. Any questions?

I am so happy with my personal Financial Advisor Melody Heshmati. Each time I have any kind of a trouble she helps me to solve it so fast and she always tries to understand the situation in the best way. If you will have a chance to choose your FA, choose Melody with no doubts.

I may sound like a bot, which I am not. I generously appreciate what Melody did during this year of working on my cases.

BEWARE - do not deal with Ester Derry for your mortgage, you will get ripped off with a higher interest rate just so she can get a higher commission. She should not have a license to do her job.

Simply the worst banks and the worst branch you can go to for your day to day banking needs. I went there on Feb 18 to add my profile to a family member account. They did all the forms and the signatures and said it take about 3 business days for the request to go through. On March 1st when I went to a branch to get a client card they said they had no records of the joint account and my request and no notes on my profile regarding that. This is unacceptable. These guys cannot do the simplest things.

Went down to the bank to verify an account. Afterwards, I still cannot use my account, and the staff is unhelpful. I regret I opened an account here

I have already a couple of years that I go to this branch and all the staff are great and responsive from my personal experience Taylor is always there to help in any way he can looking to do more business in there for many more years

Not only does scotia apparently not carry poppies anymore, this staff member scoffed and was seemingly proud of it.

Our account was frozen but because of a new job there was hope to pay back everything. At the moment we are not at Canada so we had to call from Europe. We called 6x times (each with minimum 15min on hold) till we reach someone who promised us that it's unfreeze till 48hours. 58 nothing change we couldn't accept the money from the new job nothing. Another 10 call's, spoke to 15 different peoples (3 from the Homer location.which should help us but didn't). Instead to get out and solve the money problem it waisted us more money, round about 300€ telephone bill that was the amount from this month we wanted to pay off. What should I say no service, it seems like they are trained to hold you on the phone as long as possible without any results. Update it seems to be unfreeze now (we have to ceck it.its not clear yet because we sended already the money to another bank account without any problems)

This is the worst bank in history. I had a problem with a potential breech of my bank account and was the only customer at 9 30 Saturday morning. 4 staff members explained to me that they are short staffed and can't help me, I was the only customer, they told me to go to another branch. Pathetic service
