I've stopped using Scotibank as my primary banking option. I went here to get a print out of my 6 month bank statement and they wanted to charge me 15$ for it. I'm all for paperless statements but it was necessary and urgent as I needed to submit my 6 month statement as proofs to the embassy. Imagine charging your customers for a mere print out.

The branch manager Anson went out of his way to help me when I had difficulty dealing with another bank. All the other staff I have dealt with were very kind and helpful as well. Would come back again:)

Had a bad experience when I wanted to close my account they charged $17 for the closure. My friend went to the branch at Guildford mall but wasn't charged a penny for closing his account. This branch seems highly unprofessional when dealing with customers.

Worst banking experience. Snow was really bad and i walked 30 minutes just to get to the bank on time but employee named Brandon made me upset. Bad customer service.

Today, Dec 13,2022 was the worst experience with this banking institution. I was basically treated as if I were a criminal with accusations and innuendos. I am very much considering pulling my business account out of this financial institution with regards to this fiasco.

I've been doing my banking here for the past couple years with little complaint. I have a Debit Visa that I use as a TAP card. I like it because it's the closest bank to me therefore easily accessible.

The Stuff n this Scotiabank location are useless.i must to put zero star review. They must have a willingness and try the best to help there costumers but all they do pushing them away.

Teller dolce is a smug one, always had great experience here in the past, automatic one star for poorly trained staff. That makes just one branch I will go to locally now

Do not use Scotia Select Pay if you don't have crystal ball. Because, only on certain days you can use it. And of course those days are not clearly defined and easy to check. So basically your only option is to call Scotiabank before any purchase and check will it be eligible for Select Pay.

Kate Yang is the best! Very very accommodating and guided me really well in opening my account, online banking and everything else. I am really happy I opened my account here. You should open with this branch, I’m sure they have improved now.:)

They are short of staff. You might have to wait around 15 minutes if it is moderate busy. There are usually TWO cashier working.

Im not sure why many have 1 stars. But I've only been handled by 1 person at the branch of a friendly kind female who opened my account and also assisted me at front counter months ago and was super friendly and helpful.

I dropped by to use the ATM but the doors are locked. No hours posted for the ATM. Bank says closed at 4: 00 PM is this when the ATM closes too? How do you expect anyone to bank with those hours.

I went to open a new account here and the staff were most unhelpful. Seemed lax, doing the minimum. Not caring to give you one bit of info more than you asked. It's like pulling teeth. Worse bank experience ever.

Service is just terrible. The attitude is always the same-can’t careless. Anything you ask “no-can’t do it”. Any questions you may have, answers “I don’t know”. Just annoying. They will certainly ruin your day if you need any service at this branch. I am thinking about closing my account soon to save my self of further annoyance. We should not support any business that doesn’t provide minimum service to their customers.

Well what can i say.
I was reading the reviews and it seems 96.5% of all the reviews are unhappy with the G. M of the bank.
And so am i and im not even a member at scotia, however i tryed to open a account at this branch, cause of my ID bs law she has to except the goverment endorsed ID i was using. Long story short the manager needs to do her homework and learn how to do her job (not cool manager @ scotia)

Omg I’ve never seen any horrible manager as Yock is. Frankly who made her as a branch manager? DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.no manners, no education, just one word TERRIBLE.

Slow service, ask many personal questions makes our bank experience dreadful. Everytime we inquire about something, they just have to make it hard and difficult with lot of requirements. We compare them with few other branches of scotia bank we visited. Will definitely change branch very soon when we have time.

Not even one star. After 25 years of being a Scotia customer I have been given no choice but to close all accounts and services with them. I do not like to support unprofessional business practices. I would not recommend Scotiabank to anyone.
