Most of them are sitting there for no reason, they don’t even listen to you just keeps saying call the number in the back of your card. I been there few times they are not helpful at all and I went to the one in surrey central they were able to solve the problem. This branch needs customer service training, very rude and clueless

I wish I could give 0. I came here today and one of the staff members I talked with was very rude. I was explaining everything politely and she was explaining rudely. If you have knowledge then share it. We are not asking anything for free. If you don’t like your job, stay at home, just don’t spoil someone’s day.

These people don’t understand meaning of the help desks. They literally just ask you to leave because they cannot help you. When I said you cannot just say that you can’t help. At least ask a senior or something. The girl just left her chair and went into an office and did not come back until we left. I think this is what happens when you hire people on the reference instead of their studies and experience.

Unprofessionalism at it’s best. Booked an appointment for a small thing and this financial advisor (Prab Bawa) asked us to get in the line because it can be done by the teller as well. We booked an appointment to save time but he canceled the appointment and moved us in the line. It could’ve only taken 5 minutes maximum and we stood in the line for 30 minutes.

My advisor, Gaurav has helped me in getting to know more about the products and services scotiabank offers. He is very knowledgeable, detail oriented and answers all my questions in a way that is easy to understand. Got a call from one of the advisor's if i'm interested in a TFSA. Sceduled my appointment for 1: 30. I showed up on time. Waited from 1: 30 - 2, only to recieve an email at 2: 01 that my appointment has been cancelled. Thank you for wasting my time ms.advisor of the year.

I hope I can give them 0. The old lady with grey hair, please train her about customer service. Worst experience, have to go 4 times just to get simple account certificate. I believe they have any misunderstanding that they own the bank, for god sake please let them know they are working there for people. This branch is having worst reviews, still management is not working out. It is my request to the bank managers to read & consider what your branch is doing.

I give the zero star to this branch workers. I was visited in this branch in three years arround 3 or 4 time means once time in a year but this branch workers not learn how to attend the customers. In this branch some very old employees very unresponsive and unrespectfull with customers I think they thought they are the owner of bank and if they are not come in bank then bank is closed. We are Agree you are very clever and this is good thing. But you also don’t forget other customers are also not foolish. Avoid to come in this branch and need to be improve customer service thanks

I booked an appointments with a financial advisor - Mr. Balwant Dhariwal and I would like to say he is the best person one could ask for as a guide. He is super helpful and assisted me setup my investment accounts. Mr. Dhariwal is very knowledgeable and helped me understand complicated topics in an easy way. If a use a word that i want to use for the girl whom talked to over the phone then they gonna say am illiterate. I wanted to know about my credit card report data which is mixed up with someone else. She just said its not our fault, its the trans union responsible for it. I wonder how trans union get my data unless bank don’t provide to them. The person with whom my details are mixed with is from the same branch and they say its the trans union fault. By the way the name of the girl was Aastha, whom i talked to. The bank needs to change the staff otherwise they will loose their customers. All I can say don’t go for them.

From the start, really bad. There is absolutely no line management between inside and outside where customers are finding themselves confused and budging infront of each other by total mistake. The lady who I spoke to was very rude with her tone and unwilling to be of much assistance. I'd advise against coming to this branch if you want to be helped.

Worst experience ever. The old lady working there with grey hair is very arrogant. That lady canceled my husband’s card bcz she saw me carrying that card. I went there to apply my credit card She asked me for a photo id I gave her my Bc id and she said I need a photo id She said your passport bcz she was not considering the bc id as photo id and she told me that it’s newly issued. She was enquiring like police.

I have had a very bad experence with this bank. Quite irrirating staff.they do not help you with your stuff instead irritate you and waste your time. Ramandeep Sandhu i guess is worst client advisor.she is irresponsible and inexperienced. Not only her, all members of staff are unprofessional.

Worst service I ever not seen that much. I just figuring out that the company policy are worst or their branches employees like they are not educated. As regarding going with customer service online say to increase your cheque cash limit from bank and the employees said that they can’t. What’s the matter of opening branches to just waste people times.

Very poor service. I am having problem with my account the call centre told me to visit to the bank and when i visit there they didn't solve my problem ask me to visit to the home branch. I told them i moved from toronto. And the supervisor there was soo rude. I was waiting for her and she came and said i can't help in this and thats it. Soo poor service

Hard to imagine that a financial institute as large as Scotiabank can offer as terrible service as it does. Awful hours. Awful response times. Nearly impossible to get a hold of someone at this bank.

After the passing of my father, my mother and I had the pleasure to see a wonderful financial advisor named Megan Luckey, located in the Surrey, Newton location.
Megan was so kind and compassionate. She knew all the right things to say to comfort us and help us through an immensely difficult time. She was professional, soft spoken and very knowledgeable in her work. She went above and beyond and for the first time dealing with my fathers estate anywhere, Megan was able to put a smile on my mothers face. I myself work in a similar role and dealing with estates is never an easy thing but Megan you did your job bang on and made the process as smooth as talking to a friend. Thank you from us both. And a special thanks from me for and being so kind to my mother. We need more people like her working in customer service! Giver her a raise Scotiabank ;)

Very bad experience i applied for my credit card in july but did not get it by now.i called customer service and they told me that my scene card was not even applied they just made me fill out some forms just to assue me that they are doing their work never got a call from them why was it not applied or what is wrong with it totally lazy staff.does not deserve this one star because it was the worst experience of my life till now.

Uninterested in helping. They make it very difficult to get something done. The carpet behind you where the lineup is is so close that the person can literally look over your shoulder. No privacy. Not a very great experience with any of the Scotiabanks.

I spoke with the manager, Jod Kooner, who promised to have someone with more technical knowledge call me. For 11 days now I have been trying to contact her via phone and email and have received NO reply. I have not had access to my account during that time since I had to put in a claim for a dispute and am unable to leave my home. If she had just issued me a new card over the phone at the time, it would have taken 30 seconds and I wouldn’t be in the mess I’m in now. No groceries, bills having to be paid on the first are now 9 days late. What kind of joke is this place? !

Although there were a lot of people waiting for the 3 tellers, it mostly moved quickly. I don't think I've ever seen the service desk open so people with questions and just wanting make appointments are directed to the teller line up which is a shame.
My teller was friendly and efficient.

Had worst experience: (Can anyone imagine that u have booked an appointment firstly u have to wait in the lineup for roughly half an hour (which is ok we understand that) but finally what you find is that there is no appointment booked for u. I felt that it would b good to have banking with them but I think god saved me from doing banking with Scotia. Not criticising the whole but I can't even dream to deal with Scotia, don't know about other branches but especially with this one neverr.

I’ve recently moved to Surrey and bank with Scotiabank, this location is closest to my house. I typically do my banking all online but the few times I have needed to go to a branch I’ve gone here and there is something wrong.they are never fully staff and the line is always out the door. Extremely slow. I walked in today and immediately walked back out as I have a baby and can’t wait for an hour in line. I’m hoping some changes can be made. From reading reviews I see I am not the only one to feel this way. Will start visiting a different branch from now on. Only voicing my thoughts in hopes of some changes. Thank you!
