Large and clean restaurant for authentic dim sum. Almost everything on the menu is good, but I'd avoid the chicken feet as the ones we had on that day were not fresh. Congee is legit. Fried squid cake is crispy outside, tender inside, and not oily. The other dish that is surprisingly good is ginger gai lan which looks plain but is cooked perfectly. Be warned that the portion will be huge if you order anything family size.

The food was above average but one item took an hour to arrive. We asked them to hold a certain ingredient but it appeared in multiple dishes.

Service is always excellent with Shirley at the helm. Food was delicious, especially the pork belly ribs.will be back soon!

This is the best dim sum we’ve had around Lower Mainland. The food is consistently high quality and the staff is always wonderful. Plus unlike many restaurants with less food service they don’t do a mandatory 18% for a big group.

I got a bad service in this restaurant this morning. We were walk-in and don’t have a reservation. We asked the waitress to take our information down but she refused to do so and told us there is no way to wait. She just asked us to leave. We ask how long is the line up and she not even provided any approximate time. I never see a place like this just ask customer to leave if you don’t have a reservation. Not even a chance. I told her I would like to call manger for an explanation and she said “go ahead”. Really poor service and bad experience. Will not go again.

My family and I went here for a birthday dinner and we had the worst experience ever.

1. We weren’t seated right away despite the restaurant being empty. Instead, we were asked to check their menu first to see if we “are okay with it” (aka to see if we are okay with their food prices)
2. They do not have traditional menus. They give you an iPad to order from but they have to punch your orders in on a separate computer. Two orders did not arrive, so we followed up and were told that nothing else was coming. We found out that they did not even punch our orders correctly upon reviewing our bill
3. Staff waited a total of 30 minutes to tell us that 2 of our orders were sold out.
4. It took almost an hour for the first dish to arrive.
5. We asked if they had clams (not on the iPad menu) and they said yes, and that they were $79 per pound. We didn’t question the $79 clams as everything was overpriced, but we realized that the price were for prawns when a prawn dish arrived. We notified them of the mistake (we would never order prawns as my sisters are severely allergic) and the lady admitted she misheard us (“Ahhh, CLAMS not PRAWNS” she said.) We did get our order of clams, but ended up getting charged the same price they were charging us for the prawns. They didn’t even bother updating our receipt, it said live prawns for $79/lb and we were told that the clams were the same price anyway without showing us any proof that they were indeed the same price (we felt as if the manager just wanted to rush us out of the restaurant)
6. Staff were rude and not helpful at all. We were ignored by one of the men in a suit (we assumed he’s the manager) when we tried to ask him for help. It felt like there was not much effort made by the staff to listen to our questions as we are not proficient in speaking Chinese, therefore leading to misunderstandings, such as the missing orders and incorrect seafood being served
7. Food is subpar and overpriced

To sum it up: please take your business elsewhere. This is by far the worst restaurant in Richmond.

Food is yummy, however the servers might want to not wave me off when im asking for water, i understand that might not be your job duty but its kinda rude

This is one of our favorite. Great food both dim sum and dinner. Service is also great. Price reflects on the quality of food and service.
11 January 2023 14:04
The dishes are so unique and flavorful and the service is top notch. The restaurant recently got a face-lift and it looks modern and grand. I really enjoyed the King Crab cooked in 3 different ways: steamed garlic King Crab on top of pork patty, Mayo Wasabi cream sauce King Crab and steamed eggs in the King Crab head. Oh, and the deep fried Tofu is a must try!

Great service and authentic dim sum.except wasn't impressed with the deserts. Would not recommend the chrysanthemum pudding.

We arrived a bit late to Pike Place Market (~7pm) and everything was either closed, too busy or getting ready to close. We made it to this place about 5 min before the kitchen closed, and luckily the staff still let us order (we were grateful as we were all starving).

We got the half dozen oysters and snow crab legs to share - both super fresh and delicious. I got the Alaskan halibut with plantains and arugula (so, so good!). My sister got the chowder (they were out of bread bowls) which was very flavorful. My dad got the seafood platter (the fries were a little over salted but the seafood part was great). My mom got a grilled chicken sandwich since she wasn't feeling up to seafood (fries were over salted but the chicken was cooked well, not dry).

I did feel bad for coming in so late, but the staff were great. I appreciated their attentiveness and patience. Recommend if you're in the market!

Server got attitude problem. There was something wrong with the dish and he would argue with you that the problem is with the customer. After I request the item to be cancelled, he told me do not order anything outside anymore. I was laughing in tears.

Food is delicious and fresh made. Maybe the cheapest place for dim sum in Vancouver. Don't recommend chestnuts dumpling.

Too bad the business is close soon in August due to lack of customers (pandemic).
11 August 2022 16:19
Long waiting time even with the reservation. Make reservations for 1: 30pm and still wait 30min to get in. And extra 30min for food to come
11 August 2022 5:23
Came here for dim sum. Pretty delicious food with good price. However the quality of service needs quite some improvements.
31 July 2022 17:23
Reasonable price, decent dim sum, quick service, average interior. A good spot to spend time with family/friends.
30 May 2022 23:46
Had a dinner here with a friend visiting Vancouver. Its not a busy night with less than half the tables were filled. Very unsatisfied with the food quality, the fried chicken are super dry (probably overcooked or even re-fried!), The vermicelli shrimp pot is also super dry and over cooked. Never had such poor quality in any Chinese restaurant in Richmond.
Staff are not responsive also. Will definitely not going again.

This Restaurant does not even DESERVE a star! We arrived at 5pm after trying to call to make reservation but was hung up on after they said "we were too busy! " Once they realized I was Caucasian. So we decided to go to the restaurant as we were celebrating our anniversary at the RiverRock casino. When we arrived the place had 20 people and again she said we are too busy. Thus was at 5pm there was no one there. So we walked out. Very rude and very disappointed!
25 May 2022 15:04
Found plastic in the food and restaurant did nothing about it but take it away. Would not recommend eating here.
17 May 2022 3:31
Best crispy pigeon in Vancouver, must try, better order in advance. Very good duo lotus dishes, deep fried crispy and braised with spare ribs.
Great service as usual
21 April 2022 22:49
Four stars for the excellent dim sum and stir fried dishes. The beef chow fun was perfect and the daikon cake was super tasty. You can actually taste the radish pieces! We ordered 9 dishes and were not disappointed. No wonder there was a long wait for our table! Minus one star for their average service and charges for containers to pack our left overs. I figured if I d spent over $200 they can throw in two containers for free?

Food quality has improved, reasonable prices, service is up to standard, worthwhile to have a try. The only obstacle is that their parking spaces are at level 7 of the building, not quite convenient
10 January 2022 16:33
Located across from the casino. There is plentiful parking in the parking structure above the restaurant but the parking is located on the top floor so takes a while to wind you way up.
The restaurant itself is very clean and nicely furnished and decorated. Food was very good and the service was excellent. Great place for dim sum.
17 November 2021 13:30
This place is very well spaced out and the food was good a fair selection for dimsum. It was more annoying to get to the restaurant because it’s on the ground floor and their parking is on the 7th floor which is a lot of turns. Overall I would recommend
10 September 2021 11:33
Pretty good food and very clean restaurant. Definitely a fancier Chinese restaurant and the price reflects that. The food was made well and had a great taste. Portions are decent but not as generous as other places I’ve been to, especially considering the slightly higher prices here. The service was great and very respectful.
11 June 2021 8:43
I've been here over a dozen times and I've always been happy with the quality of the dim sum.

I tend to go at non rush hour so it's not too busy and the experience is more enjoyable
08 May 2021 4:43
Food taste good. Good parking and service is very well. But there were a few items we want to try but it wasn't available. I'm guessing they've slimed down their menu due to pandemic.
06 April 2020 4:57
A perfect place to hangout with a decent group. They’ve got a great menu.
Service was excellent.

I came here for dim sum with family. There is a variety of dim sum served in a nicer setting than most Chinese restaurants. However, there aren't that many vegan-friendly options on the menu. Some safe bets for vegan options are the pumpkin congee, veggie steamed buns, mushrooms wrapped in tofu skin, and stir-fried rice noodle rolls. They tasted good, but not extraordinary. If you're a vegan, it would be helpful to have a Chinese-speaking friend to ask the waiters for you. The service is ok, and there is free parking. It can get busy sometimes so make a reservation to be sure to get a table.

Not sure how hygienic this restaurant is, though; I saw a cockroach crawling over some "clean" dishes. Other than this mishap my experience here was ok.

Great dim sum but on the pricey side! Free parking but it is all the way at the top of the parking complex!
30 January 2020 11:14
I made a "reservation" 2 days ago for 12PM lunch. But they kept me wait for seats until 12: 50. I wonder what is the meaning of " reservation" for this restaurant. Don't go if you know what "reservation" really means!
14 November 2019 4:04
Quite disappointed with the food. Most that came out was very cold. You can definitely find better Chinese food in Richmond. Service was amazing however, our dirty plates were quickly replaced with clean ones. We tried a dim sum dumpling with beef inside and it was so terrible that none of us could finish it.
04 November 2019 20:01
Went for dimsum. Quite expensive and not that fantastic. Har gao was only passable and the best dish was chee Cheong fun.

Chandeliers were particularly ugly.
15 October 2019 2:33
We deviated from our favorite dim sum pkace to try this one, located adjacent to River Rock hotel. Our party of 3 thought it was good overall but not great.
08 October 2019 7:19
The traditional dim sum are about average in quality. There are interesting new styles of dim sum they have, I tried the one with truffle and shrimp. It's not bad, I like the crunchiness. The prices are on the high end. I found the parking very inconvenient in terms of parking for greater Vancouver. I have to drive all the way up 7 levels to park and then go back to the ground to where the restaurant is, and drive 7 levels down again when I leave.
18 August 2019 17:40
The customer service at this restaurant was terrible, the waitresses were extremely rude and the food was disappointing. My family and I went to this restaurant on Wednesday morning for dim sum, we waited 15-20mins for every dish that they brought to our table and there were almost no other customers in the restaurant at the time.

I have no problem giving tips when the service is great or even decent, but due to the appalling services, we decided that we would not be giving a tip. However, after we paid without giving a tip, the cashier blatantly stated that "You didn't give a tip", my aunt responded "Do I have to give a tip? " and the waitress said "Of course you have to, the minimum is 10%" My aunt is soft hearted and gave in, I would never have tolerated that attitude and the last time I checked, we are in Canada. Even though tipping is obligatory because everyone is so nice, it is not mandatory because there are some horrendous customer service out there and this experience would most certainly fall under that category.

I would definitely not recommend this restaurant, my family and I had always gone here when visiting Vancouver, but it seems that the quality of the food and services has deteriorated over the years and we are certainly not coming back here again.
30 July 2019 3:41
Service was horrible. Extremely rude waiter. When questioning about an item we didn’t order, he shoved the order sheet in front of my face and insisted I did. Then stalked off when I asked the item be removed from my order. So rude. Food was not bad but think twice before coming here.
23 July 2019 19:33
Very authentic Cantonese dim-sum. The busy restaurant has a pretty grand-feel which is perfect locating right beside a casino.
02 June 2019 6:33
Price scam! Be careful with their seafood price. We called in advance to check the price of King crab and it was 59.99 per pound but when we get there we were told the price is 72.
30 March 2019 5:05
I'd say this place has average food in a nice setting with good service. We went for a banquet style meal here (15 course meal) and nothin was overly impressive or disappointing. I would say this place is a good dining option for out-of-town friends that aren't overly picky about food. Just an FYI some of the dishes we had were the Peking Duck, winter melon soup, fish maw soup, deep fried soft tofu, broccoli with seafood. The only dish I remember is the tea smoked chicken. Coincidentally the waiter said it's their signature food so perhaps it's a must-order
24 March 2019 19:05
Very convenient location and amazing food. The space is a bit tight for larger events, but the food, decor, and location make up for it.
