This place is Heaven on Earth, literally haven’t seen something beautiful like this, the view from the top is phenomenal, gotta add it to the bucket list if in Squamish or Vancouver. The gondola ride was little scary at the beginning but later as you were getting higher it was getting prettier & scenery was more like a portrait.

One of the top Tourist attractions in B. C, very first time riding Gandola and is good experience. Kids also loved the place.

Thanksgiving Monday was open and the weather was drizzling rain all day. $72 for tickets at the counter or $65 online from your smartphone, barcodes for entrance show immediately. Seems overpriced but it is a long ride up in a safe secure gondola. One way tickets down are available if you hiked up to the top. Worth the experience if you don't plan on coming back anytime soon. Great views and plenty of trails once you are at the top.

This was such a fun experience! It is well maintained and I felt so safe going up in the gondolas. It is absolutely breathtaking once you reach the top and there was so much to do up there as well. I highly recommend the bridge!

Despite the hefty price, the trip was worth it. The signage on the paths is very good and it is very easy to find your way around, even for inexperienced people. Great views, the family path is excellent and an absolute highlight for children. The restaurant is very good and the prices are reasonable. The rope bridge is included in the price.

A must do if you are in the area. Such a great way to explore the region and enjoy those spectacular views

So good. As with most things timing is everything- we went up on a beautiful clear Sept day. We have hiked up the Chief a few times but were blown away by the views at the Summit and looking DOWN on peaks 1,2 & 3 of the Chief! They’ve also created easy and short trails (elderly and child friendly). It’s worth it but pick a clear day. The one downside is that they don’t allow dogs on the trails at the Summit. Otherwise 4/5 stars!

We bought tickets in Vancouver attractions web page with a 35% discount (we also bought tickets to other local places to secure this offer). The Gondola ride is impressive. About 3 times higher than the elevation you estimate from the ground. The initial hill can give you vertigo if you look down. Once on top of the hill the view is amazing. On a sunny day it is extremely important to bring a hat and sun glasses. The view from the Chief Viewpoint on the Panorama trail is amazing

Totally worth. The views from the cafe and the suspension bridge walk were unforgettable. The Gondola ride was long and interesting.

Beautiful views of Howe sound but very expensive tickets to go up and down

You can get same views by hiking the chief. Restaurant at top is average at best and very overpriced
28 January 2022 21:25
It's pricey but has lovely views and some nice hikes to walk in at the top (with varying degrees of difficulty).
24 January 2022 3:17
Pretty amazing how accessible it is to get to the top of a mountain via the gondola. View is spectacular and suitable for all ages. Lots of Parking

The wife and I brought my nephew who's scared of hights up here and we had a blast. Great views from up there several small trails to hike. Bring food and water.

So much fun! It was cloudy but what an adventure. The ride was so smooth, the views were fantastic. Would recommend a visit if you’re in the Squamish area.

Glad I bought a seasons pass. Great evening activity to watch the sun set and grab a hot chocolate. Looking forward to the many hours of hiking and exploring.
16 December 2021 6:46
A spectacular afternoon out. Expensive? Yep. Worth it? % (I noted locals brought their own food.) Enjoyed a beer above the clouds and loved wandering the trails to be delighted with amazing views.
If you want to experience the mountains and are time poor, this is a great option.
Five stars if it was a tad less pricey.
13 December 2021 4:08
Went on a rainy day but enjoyed the hikes and it cleared up a bit when we got to the lookout overlooking Squamish.
24 November 2021 13:21
A gorgeous way to get to the top. We went in the off season so there wasn’t a lineup. Very friend staff at the bar made for an even better beer drinking experience with an amazing view. Definitely walk some of the trails at the top!
22 November 2021 7:32
Amazing view, one of the best places in Squamish to visit and enjoy the pittoresque view from the summit! I would love t go again!
21 November 2021 4:18
Our friends got engaged this weekend on one of the trails! It was a great experience, although the weather was a bit gloomy, the sunny breaks were beautiful.

This was certainly one of the top highlights of our trip to Vancouver & Squamish. It was a beautiful sunny day and perfect for optimal views. Of course that means it was also a busy spot so we waited in line approx. 45min each time we rode the gondola (going up and down).

For anyone with a fear of heights it can be a bit nerve-wracking to ride the gondola or cross the suspension bridge but it was totally worth facing that fear.

We only had the time and energy to do two short and easy trails (Panorama + Spirit) and they both had great lookout spots along the trail.

It was alright. Would've been better if the staff hosted a more welcoming experience and not just a punch in and out vibe. The cafe was sold out of almost everything. The trails were nice. The bridge was decent. Some trails were closed which is understandable but better to post that on the giant map at the bottom of the hill, Would be more transparent/honest with what is available. Especially for guest who have children and are limited to what trails they can try.

Stunning views! Amazing trails! Saw an eagle fly by! Experience of a life time! The gondola ride is well worth the time!

I was very disappointed with my experience traveling with my party of 25. We came to celebrate our friend's wedding and had already pre-purchased our tickets using an online ticket retailer called Perkopolis. We called ahead of our arrival in the afternoon to ensure our tickets would be valid, understanding that 25 people is a lot. The representative gave us the ok.

Unfortunately, when we arrived we were told we were not allowed to go up to have a wedding because we should have booked it way ahead of time (months in advance). We were not planning to have a wedding. We just wanted to go up to take photos which was confirmed ahead of time.

We understand that the wedding parties require booking but that should not have prevented all of us in attendance to go up the gondola. We tried to find a resolution with an employee named Jodi Matsuoka, who was in her words "offended that we thought we could show up on such short notice. " We were not allowed to bring our photographer but fortunately they let us go up the gondola still.

It was hard to feel any joy or excitement going up the gondola considering the prior experience and has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I will never come back here and would not recommend this place to anyone as long as this is level of customer service in place.

Mind you, the views are gorgeous. It is not worth the poor treatment you will receive.

Don’t get your wedding photos here, especially if
you end up working with Jodi Matsuoka, the guest services manager.

My bride and I had pre-purchased tickets for a party of 25 people. There was a misunderstanding where they thought we were trying to hold a wedding ceremony up there but this was not the case. We had already confirmed it was okay to take photos up there as long as we paid the appropriate fees to do so but due to her personal feelings, she refused us despite already paying for everything. She even had the audacity to say “this is disrespectful to future couples who want to hold their wedding here” but first of all, we already stated we weren’t trying to hold a wedding and second of all, we were an actual MARRIED couple and she was disrespecting US. At one point, in order to honour our tickets, she made up a conditional rule that our party can go up as long as myself and my bride would not go up. I’m sure Sea to Sky as a famous tourist spot would never allow a ridiculous rule as this.

All she wanted to do was point fingers and humiliate me and my bride in front of our family and friends, instead of problem solving and coming to a resolution.

Word of advice is to avoid her or else she will definitely ruin your special day—to the point of robbing you of your money.

What an incredible experience, we went up in the afternoon and stayed for the sunset. We could not believe all that was on the top suspension bridge, lovely trails and much more. A very pleasing and enjoyable visit. This is a must for all. So Great and very well done. Congratulation to all involved and all the staff who are polite, friendly and professional.

Great attraction but the one selling tickets in particular named “Jodi” was extremely rude and shouldn’t be working here if she hates dealing with people. Very disrespectful and aggressive with not only me but others who were waiting to purchase tickets, only to find out she is the manager herself. With someone her temperament shouldn’t be an employee working here and most definitely not a manager.
11 February 2021 4:33
When you've good weather, it's the perfect view! There are some trails to walk and a restaurant on top. The suspension bridge is pretty cool too!
04 February 2021 15:09
Unbelievable views. This place had me awestruck. I haven't taken a cable car ride since I lived in Singapore so I loved taking the gondola.the ride takes about 10 minutes but it's beautiful and an upside of covid is I got to be alone inside! Not sure if it was like that before covid but I definitely liked being alone, I FaceTimed my mom so she could see the view!

When you get to the top you have many hiking options, the suspension bridge, and the cafe. I paid for the shuttle and gondola ride so my visit was quite brief because I had to be back down for 3pm for the shuttle and I arrived around 11. Not really enough time to do a big hike but definitely too much time to do the smaller hikes. I wasn't good at estimating my pace so I didn't want to risk doing a longer hike and missing my shuttle, but if you know your pace I say go for it! But best option would be to drive there. The tour guide suggested to take the gondola back down for 2: 30pm to make sure I wouldn't miss the shuttle at 3 but I think you could take the gondola at 2: 45pm and still be safe.

I did the spirit trail which leads to the suspension bridge so you will definitely do that one no matter what. It's very short but at least you can do the bridge as many times as you want. To get a perfect picture you might have to do it more than once. I visited and it was quite crowded even with covid.

The panorama trail is their most popular because it loops and stays close to the main area. The chief lookout is also amazing. I recommend you do that one even if you're going to do another longer hike after.

And the last hike I did was the wonderland trail. Sort of short and mostly foliage rather than the blue skies and water that the other trails offer.

I recommend you bring a lunch and eat on one of the many lookout points. You can sit on the rocks and just soak in the sun.

Overall I had a great time and this is a must do activity if you're in Vancouver. I just wish the shuttle left earlier I the morning and left later in the afternoon, I was back downtown for 4pm but could've easily stayed longer.

A bit pricey but the views are worth it. It would be nice to spend the day waking/hiking the trails. I only did the Panorama Trail but it was easy. Stayed at the top to eat at the restaurant which was good especially with patio seating.

Love this place, even though the gondola isn't operating. Base Camp is great for kids. Nice shop, cafe and great playground. Make sure to stop here still while visiting Squamish!
02 November 2020 10:43
Considering that this is now the most dangerous gondola in Canada, having every cart fall hundreds of feet twice in one year I would have expected the restaurant staff to be polite. They are rude, immature and provide terrible service and the manager should be working at McDonald's. So odd to see the Gondola cables cut twice by a vandal. It wouldn't surprise me to see a third attempt while people are on it. If you're from out of town I would look this up.

Great little hiking trails (or snowshoe in the winter) for young children! Snowshoe rentals are available at the top. We enjoyed warming up by the outdoor fire and drinking hot chocolate ($2.50). Unfortunately there isn't enough snow yet for the tube park. There is lots of play in though!
11 February 2019 12:41
The parking was simple for a non busy day. The lower ground level cafe was very limited to what they offered which was a bummer. The ride up was beautiful. Took about 10 mins which was short but well worth it. Once we reached the top the cafe had a decent amount of options. Also tons to do. They had trails, fire pits, kids area, and a gift shop. Tons of amazing views for outstanding back drops in photos. We would go again. We would recommend this place. We will bring friends and family here.

Went for my boyfriends Christmad party, wished we had more time to go out and walk a bit and take pictures but we had to be out by 9. Very pretty though and it was a good dinner.
30 January 2019 1:23
Gorgeous views from up top. Beautifully manicured walking trails. Great place to spend a quiet and peaceful time while the fresh mountain air rejuvenates you.
28 January 2019 3:00
You can walk up or take the gondola. What's at the top is definitely a treat if you choose to climb but you can always take the gondola back down at the end! Cool experience.
24 January 2019 18:38
Was there on a beautiful sunny early winter morning. Cool, crisp.not a cloud in the sky! Howe sound looked amazing! The Squamish Valley sublime! Mount Garabaldi stood above is covered in new snow.so amazing!

Definitely a must do on your bucket list!

The website said tickets are discounted at London Drugs, so I went out of my way to go get them there. Turns out they are the same price as the online ticket. Waste of people's time, I would have just bought them at home.
16 January 2019 17:10
We have season passes and visit often. It never gets old or boring, love the fresh air in paradise. Views are incredible. Kids area is fun and we love the play area inside too. There are many great hikes for all levels. Bring your camera and try to avoid weekends.

Absolutely amazing views, one of the most amazing attractions in the greater Vancouver, worth a visit. Been many many times and it's always different experience dispensing on the weather conditions. If you visiting for the first time pick a sunny day, to see maximum of the beautiful views!

This place was one of the highlight of my trip to BC. You can hike it up by foot, or take the gondola, which we did because we were tight on time. The gondola ride is $42 per person and it's a lovely ride to the top with very nice view. We were lucky to get the entire cart for ourselves on the way up. Once on the top, the view is just breathtaking. Their is a restaurant and patio where you can sit down, eat and drink with the beautiful mountains in the background. There's a suspension bridge and a nice short hike to the lookout platform. What a wonderful experience it was. All staffs were also very friendly and helpful. Will go back next time for sure.
