Seahorses Cafe

Staff is wonderful. Cream of mushroom soup was watery with a few mushrooms floating around and tasted like straight celery seed. My morning coffee is thicker than this soup. Cute spot tho.

Food sounds way better on the menu than it looks or tastes. Extremely overpriced. They served us a rancid avocado on a toast and didn’t even offer to take it off the check. Eggs done nice and service is good though. Coffee is also tasty and fresh.

What a lovely hidden gem and absolutely delightful and delicious food.parking is odd but other than that I will be back again

You go there and they are out of fries and the wrap they serve you is is Soggy. Do not waste your time or money going to this place.

This place on a sunny day is amazing! The food is tasty and the prices are okay but the vibes are spectacular. The parking is a little funky and it might be difficult to find it for the first time, but it’s definitely worth it. The only thing is that they only have drip coffee instead of espresso beverages (latte, mocha, etc).

We stopped in for lunch while we were waiting to meet a friend and were able to be seated at a lovely table by the window very quickly. It was great that the tea was served in pots which are big enough for a couple of cups… that seems to be a lost art in other places. We had the soup of the day and the BLT plus the crabcakes and everything was delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Loved the crab cakes and found a decent poutine on west coast for the first time, loved the location, the view, the beer and the customer service!

Wow common sense isn't very common here. Terrible service, they expected us to wait nearly 2 hours for 2 wraps and a poutine. Prices are high too, bad view and lots of noise from the ferry dock. Wouldn't recommended this place to anyone on this planet.

Wonderful staff, delicious brunch, unique perspective of Todd inlet, and the little ferry doing its rounds. A wonderful place to bring people who are unfamiliar with Vancouver Island and get them started with getting them jealous.

We waited 45 mins for brunch. My friend asked one of the waiters about the length of time. She claimed that there were a couple of large parties putting them behind At the time we were there the largest party was four. We were four. We’ve eaten here before so the wait was disappointing.

Finally tried this local gem and it did not disappoint! I ordered fish n chips and they were sooo yummy. Not super greasy, portions were huge and we really enjoyed the homemade tartar sauce! The waitress’ were very prompt and friendly. We can’t wait to go back and try more menu items and sit out on the beautiful patio!

Delicious Fish and Chip and Crab Cake Burger were amazing. Wonderful views and service. Would highly recommend.

What a great experience here! Delicious fish and chips, wonderful friendly servers, great view. Just an overall wonderful first time trying this place out. We will for sure be back!

Good food, quiet setting. Maybe a bit bigger sign and outdoor lighting to help find the place. We got there when it was getting dark and ended up driving past it.

Had a excellent lunch today. Very friendly service and food was awesome. The cafe has amazing views as well. One of the rare places left that actually serve real French fries. Will definitely be back for more.

Wonderful tucked away cafe with tables overlooking the water. We enjoyed our Chicken Caesar wrap and seafood chowder. Very friendly service, and even rented self service kayaks at a great price!

Mmm stopped in for early dinner. Safe were friendly and cheerful. Food was delicious, fresh and hot. Great place to go.

I worry if I say good things then everyone will show up.and I'll never get a table This is the best neighborhood watering hole ever - literally! You can rent a kayak or SUP for the afternoon, then enjoy lunch (or dinner) dockside. I don't think there's anywhere else in the south island who can claim these kind of bragging rights Also, if you needed any more incentive, the food is wonderful and the staff are so attentive and kind.your heart (and stomach) feel full after a dedicated visit! Landmark Brentwood Bay restaurant has been feeding our family for 5+ years! Friendly and fast. We love this place!

A little beautiful and friendly Cafe. The ambiance, View, and the beautiful lady at the front was amazing and Very friendly. They have not too many fancy coffee to offer but even the regular coffee and that view and the ambiance worth the a visit.

Little seaside secret. Features fresh fare great for breakfast and lunch. I recommend the crabby mermaid salad! YUM!
