1. Environment: - located in Queen Elizabeth Park. 720 degree views north & west. Amazing view of the mountains on a clear day - Interior design with lots of wood and natural light, seats & tables are well spaced, make it cozy and comfortable to carry conversations - Valet parking available for a fee (no cash accepted), paid street parking also available
2. Food: Market salad: - fresh greens, grape tomatoes a bit soft/not at their peak freshness. - Lightly seasoned, good balance of flavor
Pedro’s Organic coffee: - offers free refills - Dark roast, roasty & smoky side of taste. Though I drank it black, but maybe more balanced with cream/milk & sugar on the side.
Steak & Egg: - Hot plate, very considerate - Egg nicely done, soft and no sign of overcooking - Hash brown: crispy skin & soft inside, slightly seasoned with salt - Steak: 6oz, medium rare, beautifully cooked, already seasoned with salt and pepper, wish it’s done without, to allow customers to personalize with their own taste preferences - Fruit skewer: with a slice of pineapple, melon and watermelon for refreshing after steak.
Food portions: - Salad usually doesn’t occupy any of my stomach capacity. Steak & Egg does fill me up. There’s also bread & butter available.
3. Service & Cost - Kathik (pardon me if I misspelled his name) served me. He kindly asked before firing/serving the entrees. Manners and professionalism on point. - Servers are accessible, always within sight and available in case of any need. - Not overly enthusiastic, leave you space to enjoy without questioning such as “how are we doing? ” every 5 mins. - 3 items with the view, costs $51.45 with the rent, location & service considered. Fair for me.
4.bathroom - Appear to be clean, and no bad smell. - Good natural light - Accessibility for guest with disabilities
5. Will I come back? - yes, probably in the next season for a different view. This is a good place to slow down and connect with friends & families.
Very over prices for the food you get. The waiter seems to be rushing us. He look disappointed when only less than half of our table order liquor. Note our total bill was over $600 and only 7 of us!
Everything about this place is amazing. Zoran specifically, is what made our night so special last night. He was so thoughtful, attentive, knowledgeable, & just an overall great human. He gave us the best service I think I’ve ever received. The food & the stunning view are one thing- what really made my experience was zoran. Seans you are lucky to have this person.
The manager of this restaurant is extremely racist and rude. He was an old white man, I believe by the name Richard/Robert. He ruined the experience for us because of his sick mentality and the way he spoke to us. I never write negative reviews for restaurants but I cannot tolerate racism, disgusting behavior especially when I am coming to a place with my family.
Really apalling experience because of the manager and I wanted to make all of you aware of this.
We had our wedding reception brunch of about 60 people in the Skyline Room at Seasons in the Park restaurant in early August of 2023, and we were blown away by the outstanding service at our wedding! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the restaurant was more than happy to accommodate a few of our guests who had dietary restrictions. The service was fast, and the communication with us was incredible. So many of our guests also complimented the excellent service they received during our reception, and we had so many compliments about the beautiful view of Vancouver as well. The servers even went out of their way to ensure that we, the bride and groom, were comfortable and well taken care of during the entire brunch. Even the preplanning was smooth and seamless, and communicating back and forth with Makda about wedding details was an easy process. Many of our guests have commented that this was one of the best weddings they've been to, and we could not have done it without all the wonderful help provided by Seasons. As a wedding venue, we highly recommend Seasons in the Park! Plus, we felt compared to other wedding venues, that Seasons was quite reasonable, and who can beat that beautiful view of Vancouver, and wonderful setting within Queen Elizabeth Park. Thank you very much Seasons for making our special day so wonderful!
Our favourite restaurant for a patio lunch or dinner. Great service, wonderful atmosphere, and I've recommended Seasons in the Park to all my visiting friends from out of Province.
Today, I went to this restaurant for the very first time. Long story short: 1. - The view is phenomenal 2. - The quality as well as the taste of the food left me a little disappointed 3. - The attention of the waitress Alma, excellent, much better than expected. Thanks Alma, I appreciated your fine service.
My first time at this lovely place, let me tell you, we did dinner for my brother's birthday, and I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, so romantic and comfy, our server was so polite and well manner, the food was great.one of my favorite places to dineout. Five stars
Went here for the dinner. I would personally like to give thumbs up for my server, Andre, for the wonderful service. The night would have not been right if a Andre was not there. If you come here, go find Andre for the wonderful service making my night memorable.
Appetizer: seasons mushroom and fish cake. The appetizer are basic and just okay not worth your time.
Entree: canneloni, seafood linguine carbonara, fillet mignon neptune, 10 oz fraser valley pork chop. The entree are quite good but not that amazing though. They are all equally good.
Dessert: sunburnt lemon pie, butterscotch pot de creme. I am not a dessert lover but these are crazily nice. These dessert are very recommended.
Overall, this place is very recommended to go to eat here while enjoying the beautiful view. I would go back here and try its other menu.
One of the best views in the city. Sitting on top of Queen Elizabeth Park. Valet parking is $12 while parking along the road for 2 hours is $7.50. The restaurant is beautiful with multiple rooms and gorgeous views of the city. Ask for patio seating on a nice day and make sure it’s the back patio not the front. No view from the front patio. Food and service is really good. I would stay away from the Caesar salad. The brussel sprouts and macaroni and Cheese were amazing.
Always great food and service! Covid protocols throughout pandemic have been great, feel very safe eating here. And of course great view and location with Queen Elizabeth park.
Treated my mom to a bday lunch here. Since it was patio dining only I wanted to go all out. The views here do not disappoint and exploring little mountain after is always nice. Pay Parking on the lane way hill of the park is a pain unless you valet $$. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was nice enough, food was decent, drinks way overpriced. The $30 seafood pasta was a disappointment not much seafood, could have made tastier at home. The bread was good, but an up charge, should be complementary at fine dining establishments. A little sliver of cake was an appreciated touch.
DO NOT COME HERE FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS. I regret making a reservation here for a birthday lunch as I was extremely disappointed and underwhelmed by the lack of hospitality and service. First off, there was no acknowledgement of the special occasion we were celebrating at any point of our dining experience, which is a standard at any fine dining establishment (having worked at one myself). The server who brought us to the table was uninviting and cold, even made a face and scoffed when we politely asked to switch tables. Food was average, service was extremely slow and inattentive (they rarely came by to refill our waters). The only thing that somewhat saved the experience were the views, but even that you could enjoy without having to pay for a mediocre dining experience. Do not recommend this place to anyone. This is my first and last time coming back here.
Pleasant atmosphere with a nice view when you get a table by a window. Good service. Good food, nothing mind-blowing, just good higher-end restaurant. I ordered a steak medium and it was closer to well-done, but a good cut. My wife's sablefish was excellent. OK wine list. Good martini.
The food was tasty, however I wasn’t happy with the staff. Seasons is the place where you go for beautiful view and food and expect a friendly staff. It really ruined our anniversary date.
My wife and I had dinner here recently- when booking, I asked if they had heaters and it was confirmed they did. We sat outside, and it was cool so we asked the server to start the heater. Tank was empty. Check for another tank. Sorry, all empty. No more full tanks. Wow! 6 ladies behind us asked him to turn on the heater too- sorry no fuel. They asked for blankets- sorry- no blankets. Top of wooden railing was dirty and dusty, did not give a good impression. Food and service- okay, not great. Brussels sprouts were burnt. Steak was good and cooked well. Fries were good. When it came time to pour the wine the server poured my ‘taster portion’ then did not ask how I liked it and immediately proceeded to pour my wife’s wine. This is a basic server training issue. You can do SO much better. Will be quite a while before I return. If ever.
We hosted our wedding ceremony there. It was excellent! Food was excellent, services were excellent and the view is perfect for wedding ceremony! All of our guests are satisfied. The only thing need to be mentioned is if the host of group booking required to arrive a little earlier for setting up, make sure to open the door for them. We waited outside for about half hour after we get the promised setting up time. No one open the door for us. We will definitely return as individual customers.
My wife and I enjoy having lunch at Seasons, we always enjoy the good service and the delicious food, good wine list as well, the view is great all depends where you are seated.
A bit more money but it's service is better than a lot of hotels. The quality of food is better than average. We have four persons. The buns are all different in quality.
Tried it for the first time recently and was very impressed. Although it is a bit pricey it is definitely a high class place and the food is top notch quality. Service was also excellent. Only downside is no free parking.
Christmas dinner for 2018 was a treat! The city view, food and service was very good. After a bad Christmas dinner at the Teahouse Restaurant in Stanley Park, we are thrilled to find a new place for Christmas dinner. Prices are also good. Well worth the visit.
Sitting atop Queen Elizabeth park, this iconic restaurant has gorgeous cityscape views; great place to treat out of town visitors.fortunately, the food quality matches the setting.great service too (thanx to Annie). A bit pricey, but worth it.
To say this restaurant is perfect is an understatement. From the customer service, to the food, to the view and everything in between, this place has absolutelt exceeded expectations to say the least and has absolutely, and i think i can speak for our entire company dinner group, blown our minds. HIGHLY recommend this spot. The evening view is spectacular, the decor is stunning and the food was 5 star Michelin worthy. Thank you our server melissa went above and beyond for our group and was nothing short of amazing.
I’d rate 5 stars for the amazing view and food. We truly enjoyed our food. The atmosphere was great and the view was incredibly beautiful. However, I took two stars off due to the unsatisfying service. Our bill was far above $100. Of course, we would expect at least mediocre service. I could see other people were well-served around us but our table and another table where asian couple was sitting? I mean I would’ve still rated 5 stars if we had been told that we’d have to wait our food for about 3-40 minutes.
Great food, beautiful views, slightly pricey though you're paying for the view, mojito had unnoticeable alcohol, very odd waiter who made the experience a memory lol.
I went to Seasons to celebrate a birthday. It was a large party and we were accommodated adequately. Great all round menu. Some had steak while others had burgers. The view is spectacular. We were sat inside but there is also a huge patio that is relaxing.
I honestly love this place. Good food and usually great staff. However, I was dissapointed when speaking to one of the employees at this establishment to confirm a reservation, and to request a window seat. Not here to bash anyone, but to share my experience and hopefully they read and learn from this. Let us call him "R", when asked if it was possible to be seated near the window, he replies not so kindly and to be quite honest quite snarky, how everyone asks for a window seat. How it is a request they always get, and it was not until I asked if the employee could please explain in more detail did he finally say that it is not guaranteed. That is all he had to say. For example, "I understand you want a window seat however it is not guaranteed so may I suggest coming early to hang at the bar and we can see what we can do for you". Instead of going on how everyone asks for a window seat and being so condescending. Now I have worked in hospitality in the past and I understand some workers may have an off day, we are human and it is understandable. Yet I do believe professionalism should be implemented.
I've only been once to Seasons and it was before we were married, but everything was great. Terrific food, good service and a fantastic view. Is there anywhere in this city without a fantastic view?
Beautiful spot in the park to have dinner. View was very peaceful. I had a steak which was cooked perfectly. The service was very good and the evening went very well.
We chose Seasons for our wedding and we've definitely made the right choice. They are very responsive and the communication was great. They made it really easy for us. Our server that day, Chance, was very attentive. Food was great (as usual). Definitely recommend this restaurant for events, special occasions or just casual dinner!
Celebrated birthday there. Excellent services with waiters and waitresses checking regularly for your water and you don't need to wait for your drinks to be filled up which happens quite often in many restaurants in Vancouver area. Food is also well done with lots of local vegetables and seafood. With its long lasting reputation, the restaurant is also full. Lunch and dinner are served here. And it's located on the highest point of Vancouver in beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park. You can enjoy the beautiful city view and botanical natural views.
I went to Seasons to have my birthday lunch with my Mom and we both had a fantastic experience! When they found out it was my birthday, every employee I encountered ensured to wish me a happy birthday. Additionally, we requested a window seat but unfortunately there were none available. We accepted that, but as soon as one opened up, our server moved us to it right away. Morever, the food is reasonably priced and very tasty too, my Mom had the salmon burger and it was phenomenal. Lastly, our server brought our dessert with a candle and happy birthday written on it, without being asked. Overall, the restaurant went above and beyond to make me feel special, and I would recommend this place to everyone I know.
Views terrific the food was pretty good but we were eating a fixed menu so didn't get to really taste a full range of the menu but what I had tasted good but wasn't averly creative. Our canapes were excellent
Beautiful views from the window seats.it's a great restaurant and the food is delicious. I like that they take pride in the quality of every aspect of their business.
I went there to attend and organize a family wedding. However, somehow, the waiters forgot to serve the guests drinks. Everyone was served water, but it was only at the end that we realized none of the guests were served juice/ice tea which was already paid for! I am quite dissapointed in the service. On the othee hand, the food was great.
Had brunch here on a stat holiday. We made reservations for 10: 30 am and were seated right away. There's pay parking in front of the restaurant. It got busier closer to noon when we were leaving. It's not cheap but there's a kids menu. We really enjoyed their smoked salmon Benedict and truffle mushroom soup. The burger was not bad, too.
Was attending a wedding at Seasons - food and service was absolutely amazing! I had the Sable fish which couldn't have been prepared any better. One of the best views of Vancouver - great spot for taking photos so make sure you plan to spend some time there while there's still daylight:)
Amazing views coupled with great food and service. Seasons is a must. I would recommend making reservations in advance. Season's is also a great place to hold meetings, birthdays and weddings as they have large rooms hidden from the public. Also, I would recommend the Season's stuffed mushroom.
