Sebastian & Co Fine Meats (Downtown)

Need to update their hours of operation, been 3 times when they are supposed to be open and ended up being closed.

I'll admit, I've never been in your stores. We hunters. But I gots this son in law that keep me in yer All-Purpose Rub. It's so yummy with our wild game. Thanks for keeping it real. All thru covid & today

This place has one of the best sandwiches. Beef brisket and roast beef sandwiches are my favorites. Of course, the aged steaks are so yummy and tender. By the way, I am also a cook and very picky eater! Thank you, keep up the good work.

I have phoned on occasion with no luck at getting an answer. Today I called 4 times with again no answer so I took my scooter down thinking the place was packed as it was Thanksgiving weekend. There was no one in the store. I asked why they weren’t answering the phone and the guy at the front said that it was Thanksgiving weekend and that they were “ super busy”. I pointed out that there was no one in the store and he repeated his first line and then asked me what I wanted to purchase. I told him I would pass and left. I was looking for a specific cut of meat confirming that they had it would have been helpful before making the trip over there. The rude service was not worth me buying it even if it was there.

I drive to the downtown area from time to time, and sometimes due to long distance to my home I tend to use the washroom of a local store if I can.

Today was one of those days. As you may know, many of shops and businesses in the Vancouver Downtown area tend to hesitant in allowing non customers to use there washrooms even if it’s urgent and much needed!

I came in the shop, and without any hesitation asked if I can use there washroom. I even told him I can’t eat Meat so I would not be able to purchase 95% of their goods.
Immediately he said sure! I went in, and I was blown away by the cleanliness, lighting, and spaciousness of the washroom. They really maintain there store as well there washroom facility. After I finished, I asked for a zip log bag. My protein powder bag was ripped and i had no means of carrying it.
One the staff said “sadly, we don’t”, but offered me a free mini mason jar. I even told him I’m willing to pay for it. He refused.

The staff, customer service, quality, organization, hygiene, cleanliness, and location of this store is just Prime?

I so want to love this place, but can't.
Last three times I walked out with nothing. They either were 'out' of what I wanted or simply didnt have it at a price that one would pay. I happily will pay for quality, but 10 to 12 bucks a pound more for a strip or tenderloin is not reasonable. Happy to pay 5. TBone, forget it.

Today I went for Sausages. Never tried them here before. Read online they make their own. I was down, until I arrived and they had 'breakfast' and 'chicken' sausages and nothing else. Seriously. The hottest day of the year. The forecast has been for hot on the weekend for a week and they are 'sold out'? Seriously, the dude said that its due to the weather.
I made the trek to my favorite butcher on Hastings and Nanaimo after I left, and they had stock of all 12 varieties if sauages they sell and were swamped.

Come on guys. Please let me be a customer and have stuff in stock and at a reasonable price. Please.

Never thought I'd love a butcher shop, but this one i do. Great variety of food, and great patio to eat their amazing sandwiches.

Love this place! They have an exceptional selection of high quality meats, and a lot of good cheese and frozen products. They also do some really nice sandwiches and “to-go” charcuterie. Perfect for grabbing and heading to the beach. The service is exceptional and there is decent street parking in the area.

There is a Broth Bar! Amazing fine meat selections along with custom blend rubs, oils and spices including the original coveted charcoal rub! My favourite olive oil and salt blends I’ve ever had. Their specialty selection of curated packaged and fresh foods with friendly knowledgeable staff make this the perfect fine food destination and a great spot to swing by every day for the best savoury finds all the time.

Great selection of everything meat plus very creative carnivore delicacies for every occasion. We had some great sandwiches plus a steak pie for the night, they also have probably the best empanadas in Vancouver. Would definitely recommend.

The best dry-aged steaks. Seasoned with a little salt and pepper before grilling - amazing umami, the porterhouse had a cinema popcorn butter note that blew us away. (Time to go see movies again!)

True passion and care for the product.

I was there for the first time. I was so impressed with the variety and quality. Yes, you pay for quality. And it’s with it.

Good meats. Bacon was yum.new in the core. Great service and they are looking to be part of the community

Amazing staff and products (BEST dry aged beef!) Definitely try a charcuterie cone - great to take on a picnic

The staff is super friendly! Answered all our questions about the sandwiches. I had the salami sandwich and the chacarero. I liked the bread on the salami sandwich and the filling of the chacarero. Can't wait to go back to try the other sandwiches and purchase some meat for future barbeques!

I just tried something from their prepared selection and it was absolutely delightful, I can't wait to go back and pick out something else to try. I'll be more than happy to recommend this to my friends and family as well.

I am being honest here. These guys have the best quality meat I've ever had. It's either these guys, or I don't buy steaks.

I will be one of their best customers for sure.

So excited to have a real proper butchers in my neighbour hood. I’m going to eat all the meats.
