Omgosh, we thought we’d give this restaurant a try as we live in the area. We ordered Lamb Palak & vegetable Sabji Miloni both with a puréed spinach base. The lamb was tough & the vegetables looked like they were from a frozen package. It was also hard to tell the difference between the 2 dishes, as you can see from photo. Last time here I’m afraid.

I had their mango chicken, rice and garlic naan, Taste was so good, i am really impressed with the quality I received. It was really what i was hoping for and staff was so generous.

I have tried butter chicken, shahi paneer, rice, daal makhni, yellow lentil dal, vegetable samosa in different orders, and I became fan of them. Most importantly their food tasted so good and fresh every time!

If you're in the area and in the mood for some spicy, flavorful food, it's definitely worth checking out.

Hands down the best food (any kind!) that we've had in months! Very fresh, so flavourful, any amount of spice you that you wish.

The absolute best in the area. Used to go somewhere else near choices for many many years but when it quietly changed owners last year the food did too. So Happy to hear this is actually the chef from that place. Delicious! We only go here now.

2nd time eating picking up from here and the food + experience is 10/10 like the first time. The family running the spot is welcoming and warm, and the curries I have had are tasty as ever.

I especially like the spice levels they have. Usually I find “make it hot” never does what I want.

However Second Curry gives the option of
• Hot
• 1x hot
• 2x hot
• all the way up to 5x hot!

I really like my curries hot and the 2/3 level is perfect.

I was working in the area and wanted to get takeout. I saw Second home on food near me and decided to order butter chicken Chilli paneer and a couple sides. I have to say this was very good indian food. The Chilli paneer was my favorite. I would definitely recommend getting food from here!

If you're craving for some delicious Indian food, you should definitely stop by. My family loved the dishes we've ordered, it was very rich and delicious. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Large portions and good value. I requested very low spice and no dairy, and they graciously modified their lentil Dhaal ma Khni which was delicious and the best I've tasted. The lamb korma had generous chunks of lamb and very tender. We easily had 2 meals from each dish. Service was fast and staff were very helpful. It's great to have easy access to good curry in Ocean Park!

No need to search any further for the best Indian food in Surrey! If you were a regular customer of the Original Rasoi at Alder Crossing, you will be relieved to know that the original flavours that we had come to love continue on at Second Home Indian Curry Take Out! OMG this is where the cook from Rasoi went! Food is fantastic & right in my neighborhood. Don’t be fooled by the exterior- this is phenomenal Indian takeout

Tried them for the first time today! Placed a takeout order for dinner and they were very quick, 15 mins for a butter chicken. The sauce was very rich and tomatoey, and the portion was very generous, but I just wish there were more pieces of chicken in the sauce. Overall not bad for somewhere very close to home, I’ll be trying again for sure. It’ll be nice to not have to drive 10 mins for Indian food from the Grandview corners area.

Great food, ready quickly, and similar prices to every other Indian place in town. Overall, good value, and friendly staff. Great to see Indian food back in ocean park.

This is the best Indian food takeout in South Surrey! The chef used to cook for Rasoi before they sold and then opened his own business. We come here every week! You get your food in just 15 minutes and it always tastes delicious. The people are always very friendly. Highly recommend!

The best indian food one can try without giving it a second thought. All dishes are delectable. Must try!
