Señor Froggy Restaurant North Kamloops

I love this place. I love the people. I love the food. Excellent wheelchair access. I can see why people of all ages and stages go here. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and has a wide range of Mexican food.
I had my favourites and was introduced to a few more. I don’t know if it’s the surroundings coupled with the staff, but I noticed the elderly (my mom) really relax. For these reasons and mor is why we will be returning.

All around great experience. Delicious food, friendly service, and the fish tacos with diablo sauce were fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants since I was a kid.

Authentic, basic Mexican food. Nothing fancy but really good. They have a salsa buffet that is very nice! Staff very friendly.
Taco Salad is loaded! Very good

So nice to see the staff, some are like family members. My order was missing a large Mexican fries well done. It was ordered there for take out. But with such a great experience I forwent my Mexican fries. Thank you great staff

One star for the fact that the restaurant was spotless. One star for the very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely awful. It wasn't the fault of the cook, it was clearly sub -par ingredients and flavourings. I hate to say so, as I know many consider this a Kamloops gem, but really don't bother giving this restaurant a try.

Amazing food and atmosphere! We were a large group of 40 and the staff was very accommodating. Everyone left full and we will definitely go back again!

Very Poor service when they make a mistake. They would not fix the mistake. I wasted gas driving back to get it my order fixed and did not want to work on fixing my order. I would like to speak to a manager about compensation for the rude service and not willing to work on fixing the problem.

I am picky about my favourite food (Mexican) and this place was so good. Chimichanga was fresh, not greasy or messy!

Very disappointed. Expected restaurant quality but it was more like fast food chain. Staff was all very young. Order was wrong. Wait was long. Pricey.

For Mexi fast food this place it very satisfying. Mid priced, large portions, lots of options. Love the salsa bar options and the beverage selection. Spacious busy dinning room.

It's been a few years since I've been to this location. The service was good; I didn't mind waiting the 20 minutes or so for my food, which was a small side nachos and a chicken chimichanga. I miss the open salsa bar but understand why they may not have it anymore! SF isn't what it used to be decades ago but it was decent and not bad. My table had the sign on it saying it was sanitized yet it still had food smears on it. Not a big deal breaker though. I will still come back.

Was there on Sunday and had the worst service. Ordered to go and waited 20 minutes. The girl was rude and even more ruder when I asked for my money back! I will never be back to this location

We were not familiar with Senor Froggy and stumbled across it as we drove thru town. It turned out to be a good, quick, fast food joint. We enjoyed our tacos and a chimichanga.

I was picking up food for my family, it was during the floods.it was a very busy night. I ended up drinking all of my drink while I was waiting. The young lady saw this when she brought out our food. She gave me a refill, the little thing make a huge difference.

No vaccine card was needed. Worst burrito I have ever had. My husbands $12 salad was all lettuce and maybe 3-4 tablespoons of ground beef. Inexcusable…. Will never return. It was actually “yuk”

Always clean stuff is polite and quality of food is always up to par! Keep up the great work and ill keep coming back!

Taste is poor. Portion size is very small and the overall quality is poor. Expensive and not worth it!

Wasn't the same as it used to be been two years since I've been there. The meals were definitely lacking in the quality they used to have. I hope things change they used to always be very tasty.

Always good locally owned and operated Mexican fast food. Everything is made in house and its always very tasty. A Kamloops staple for a quick meal downtown or on the north shore.

Incredible food, but service is absolutely horrible. Snotty front staff. Staff bringing their small baby in the back kitchen. Management needs to seriously retrain staff on proper safety precautions and people skills.

A really fun experience, I'll definitely go again (and have). A sit-and-wait fast food place serving Mexican and Italian fare. Not the most amazing food, but the servings are large and the service is top notch. Average cost per meal is between $10 and $20.

I have loved Senor Froggy for over 20 years. It is definitely the best Mexican Fast Food I have ever had In 47 years. That is the absolute truth. Before kids I used to go, a lot. Now, my kids love it as much I do. The customer service is amazing. All the staff work together and always have smiles on their faces. If you're ever wanting delicious food at a decent price, and plenty of choices, including vegetarian, go to Senor Froggy. If I could, I would give them 20 out of 5.

The food was absolutely delicious however the customer service really lacked. We had to ask for hot sauce 4 times before I went up and asked for it. My mom's Mexi fries were forgotten about. I dont live in kamloops anymore so when I get to come back here I always stop here. The food was still very good despite the issues.

Everytime we come home to visit, we make sure to stop here for the delicious food and great service. The lady today went above and beyond to make sure everyone was looked after. Keep up the good work!

My husband and l know we were not satisfied with service our tacos did not taste write l took my taco back and nothing was done. Hour later my husband could not get out of washroom and in evening l was also not well. Never had problems before but because of this l won't be going back. Thank you

First visit there. Great quick casual place. Tried the daily feature, will try the burritos next time.

Delicious food and came out quick for.how busy it was. As close to authentic as you can be for fast food

Food was good but staff all seemed to be kind of angry. Girl running the till was super unfriendly felt like I was coming in 5 min before closing but was like 6pm. Server just kind of flopped a tray half on the table and left. All in all pretty depressing environment.

Not a well managed restaurant. Ordered online so I couod just pay and pick it up. Waited about 25 mins for my food, after getting there at my pickup time.

20 min wait for soft taco and mexi fries persons who ordered after us got there orders before us. Bigger orders then ours.

The staff and management really care about their cliental and each other and it shows. SO thrilled to see they added a hand washing station since covid, that is thoughtful and couldn't have been cheap, but so much better than just hand sanitizer. WELL done Senior Froggy, great place to come for a taco or pasta any night not just Tuesday! YUMMM

Awsome family owned business Excellent food at an affordable price with great daily specials and an absolutely wonderful dedicated staff

Ordered in by phone then went to pick up my order around 6pm oct 1st and they messed up my order when i repeated myself 3 times on the phone.went in to find my chicken baja bfb burritto was a salad in a bowl.told them what i actually ordered.then they re made it to a beef burritto so i had to go back again.finally my order was right. 2 times before getting it right leaving my other food cold before going home to eat. Was not impressed. Waisted my time and we ended up having to microwave our food. However the staff was really sorry and the ladies were really nice about it, I just wish there was somthing that could have been done about it.

Love eating here food is as authentic as you can get for being central BC. Always fresh only issue I've ever had was that they overload the diced tomatoes onto stuff and the side of chips and dip is a little extreme for its price and the amount you get but end of the day the foods amazing and the service is always really good both when eating in and take out.

Finally got to eat here! It was amazing! Food was so good great tasting and the salsa was outstanding! I highly recommend this place for tacos!

A long established local restaurant that is serving a huge selection of Mexican dishes that are way above anything else out there. Covid limited seating is now available. The fish tacos were an absolute delight. Definitely going to work my way through more of this menu.

Yummy! Fresh Salsa bar! Fresh food and authentic music. I highly recommend this restaurant! The platters are the best! So much food enough for a late night snack!

North shore location. Small portions. Both my friend and I ordered the same item, the BFB. Usually this is enough. Both of us thought the same thing, each BFB was half the size as usual. We asked the lady working there when she brought it to the table if the portion size had been reduced, she said it depended on the cook as to the size of it what was made. The taste of the food was good though, as usual. Both of us left hungry, where usually the BFB is enough.

My absolute favorite place to eat when we go to kamloops. I also buy a bunch of the deli items to take back home with me

A must have essential when visiting Kamloops, I absolutely love their food and friendly atmosphere! I now live in Calgary, but couldn't imagine not stopping in for a amazing meal! 110% happy with Senor Froggy's, Go Go Go try it out if you are a fan of good eats!

One of the best chimichangas in BC for half the price you pay at a served restaurant. Great choices of salsa and sides. Always worth a stop when I'm back in town.

I found this place okay considering I had better Mexican food at different places. Though it was not bad but I found this very basic meal. It is busy place so maybe other people like getting food here but personally I thought it was average.

Everything I have ever bought here has been spectacular, food was hot even when taken to go, delicious ingredients, cooked to perfection if your looking for a casual meal and you love Mexican this is the place to be.

Great food at great prices. Hands down the freshest food made right in store. They support local vendors and so should we.

To start off, food tasted great.no complaints there. But.my friend and I both ordered the BBQ chicken burrito, and we both experienced a very unpleasant following day of sitting on the toilet for hours (pretty self-explanatory), guts wrenching, and trying not to hurl all day. I'm not saying that you should expect the same experience, but something was not right about the food that was served to us. I will definitely be steering clear of anything chicken served at this location.

Mexican food is not a favorite of mine but the wife likes it. We had soft tacos and drinks. The main aim is to get the sauce that doesnt blow your socks off. Too much experimentation to get it right.

I kind of thought "Mexican Fries" would have been something other than tatertots. Probably the most bland Mexican food I've ever had.

This restaurant remains a favorite place for us when we visit Kamloops. Good food, prepared quickly, and friendly staff (who patiently waited for me to make up my mind about what I wanted to eat).

The Baja Tacos were loaded with all the salad / Mexican meat mix / cheese. Chimichangas were dripping with fresh cream and guacamole. Alfredo chicken flavour was truly Italian. Dinner here was a combination of Mexican and Italian Both menus were there and each item was better than the otherI am going there again during this trip to Kamloops and this time we share a meal

Not bad for a fast food place. Food was good, but a little greasy. Restaurant was dirty tables were not clean. Washrooms are meant for going to the bathroom so I understand it can smell, but no airfresher, and garbage all over the floor.

Food tastes great especially when it's eaten right away and it's just a great place to eat and relax

Best Mexican food on the North Shore, possibly in town. Portions are large, multiple salsas and sauces to choose from. Pasta off the spaghetti menu is decent as well. I always visit when I come to Kamloops.

First time trying this kind of dishes and it was great!
The customer service is good and the people here are friendly.

The soft and hard tacos and the Mexi fries are the only thing i have gotten so far from here.

MAKE SURE TO CHECK FOR ALL ALLERGIES. After being assured there was no dairy in my meal, it turns out whomever was cooking didnt bother reading the "NO CHEESE" part of my order.

Spent the night in the hospital from an anaphylactic reaction.

During this someone i was with called and all they offered was a "meal credit" for almost dying because their staff didn't bother doing their job.

When i went in to get that meal i asked for my entire order comped because of the fun time slowly dying.

The *best* they could offer was my meal and 25%. Probably the last time i eat here because of this mess and a POOR response to it.

Aside from the cheese they also missed paid for add ons with the rest of my meal.

Awesome place. Locally owned not a franchise. Well worth finding. Kind of a fast food vibe but with excellent Mexican food. They do pasta too if you don't like Mexican.

I moved to Kamloops in August and once my family and I moved we were in search of a great Latin American traditional food in town. We decided to try out senior froggy and to be honest it fell extremely short in flavor and proper portions. Coming from a Latino himself I can't say that I'd ever eat here again. One last thing I will add is that the Mexican fries! It simply tatter tots with salsa on top! To me that is defenetly no where close to traditional Latin food.

North Shore senor froggy is the best one! Downtown location lacks the customer service. Go to the north shore one!

So disappointed.been going here all of my life but lately it seems the quality and service has declined severely. I always place take out orders, and they're always missing the fries! Which are like 5$. Also lately the ground beef in the tacos has had clumps of pink meat. One day I went to pick up an order and had to wait, which would normally be fine, but the girl who was on Mexi fry duty was taking fries in her gloved hand, putting them in containers, then wiping same gloves hand on her pants. Then she took that same hand and popped a mexi fry into her mouth, and continued to work. Seriously bad hygiene and if the boss saw her probably fire her. Too bad as they got alot of my business. I hope the owner/boss reads this and takes action, as there is no taco time in kamloops lol

Kamloops' best Mexican food!
I grew up with Señor Froggy when it was in Northills Mall. A family favourite. The location has changed, but the great food remains!
I have always loved the ground beef used in their tacos and burritos, and the other ingredients are fresh - so delicious! I've since grown older and expanded my appetite - the entire menu has many tasty options.
If pasta is more your thing, they offer several pasta options with house-made sauces. I've had that a few times, but it is also good food!

I have been going to Senor froggy since the day it opened. They use a lot of fresh ingredients they make their salsas, beans tortilla chips in-house. It's small kind of funky the staff is always friendly and helpful. I have a decent selection of beer Canadian and Mexican. I guess you would have to call at fast food but it's nothing like a McDonald's or Burger King or any of that kind of stuff. My daughter worked there when she was in high school so she knew all about the kitchen in the food and it is good. The owner is almost always on site. I'm looking for a big meal the Super Burrito with extra red sauce is my absolute favorite! Comes with tortilla chips the small lettuce salad. I think it's about $8.00. They have lots of parking and it is handicap accessible. Kids are totally welcome. You can also get their food delivered at "skip the dishes.

I usually have the best experience here! Unfortunately tonight’s service at the North Shore location was unexpected and I left feeling disappointed. Our server was rude, blunt and unpleasant. Even tried joking with her but she stayed silent. When she brought The appetizers out, she didn’t Ieave us any cutlery. When my guest went to counter to ask for the cutlery, she rudely said she’s bringing more food out, meanwhile holding the cutlery in her hands, so my guest returned empty handed. Surpremeo mexi fries aren’t exactly finger food. And usually you eat appys first then the rest of the meal comes out. I’m starving and pregnant; so I went to ask for the cutlery, she snapped “ I know, I’m bringing more food out! ” Still not giving us the stupid cutlery. Like why couldn’t she just be nice and hand it over? I’ve no problem with food coming at same time but why make us feel like we’re demanding the impossible? Needless to say, I won’t be coming back to this location for a while. Food was amazing as always tho!:)
