This is my first time using storage service outside. My experience with Sentinel from the first telephone contact to the respective store's front line staff were clear, smooth and timely.

Unbelievably good service here. I had a complicated move in, with someone else signing the rental agreement while I was away. Carlos made the transition of the agreement and payment arrangements to my name simple at a time when I was deep in panic and confusion. He was always available for any questions and he just exudes calm and reassurance. When I lost my locker key just days before I have movers scheduled to open it, another associate (whose name I remembered until yesterday) soothed my worries and arranged for the lock to be cut (at no cost! I was expecting a hefty fee). When I arrived with movers, Carlos was on hand to open the new lock they had provided and to ensure the movers had easy access to the locker and good parking. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience using Sentinel! I was overwhelmed dealing with my fr passing and all his furniture! I called sentinel in Coquitlam organized my rental by phone, which was easy! But realized there was a Sentinel closer to my friends house!
I called and transition from one facility to the other was seamless

All needs were dealt with, staff is pleasant, responses were quick, facility was kept well and clean.

Was looking for storage and packing supplies. Waiting outside of their office at 9 am sharp on a monday, there is people inside and they see us but wouldn't open the door for us. By 9.30 seeing that sentinel doesn't need our money and still doesn't open their door! Even though they supposed to be open by 9am, we leave the place. If I were the owner, I would be livid. Anyway, we decided to go to their competitor.

I loved the service and security of this place. Babjot in particular was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help us get over hurdles. We are a small business and we really appreciate the welcoming attitude and help as we often have unforeseen issues come up with inventory. Babjot really understood and made our overall experience worth it. Will definitely reuse.

Sentinel storage offered just what I needed-good sized lockers. The facility is well maintained and assistant manager Babjot was helpful in finding the right size of locker to fit my budget and needs. His service is a very pleasant experience.

I rented a 5x10 unit to store my belongings while I found a place to move them long term. There was a promotion that gave me the first 4 week cycle free, and I needed the unit for 6 weeks total. They were very helpful and gave me a prorate on my second cycle so I only paid for an additional 2 weeks.

The facility is very accessible, there are multiple loading zones for vehicles, a ramp, and two loading bays that a moving truck can back up into. Inside there is a large elevator and they have carts you can use to move your stuff, and a customer washroom.

The staff onsite I interacted with were very helpful and kind and made the check in/checkout process smooth.
The reason I am giving a four star instead of five is because when I initially called, a month before I needed storage the representative I spoke to on the phone was very aggressive in their sales manner and it made me uncomfortable. Since that initial call I did not interact with that individual again, and everyone else was patient and helpful.

Karen helped me she’s is always so helpful and understanding! Always answering my questions and sometimes even using her last few minutes before closing time so that I could look around the store if I wanted to buy some supplies or boxes. I feel so safe and secured to store all my important belongings here knowing they check all the lockers to make sure they are locked properly. Thanks to the caring staff especially Karen I can sleep good at night knowing my stuff won’t be stolen.

I had a great experience renting at Sentinel Storage. We got setup with our unit in May 2020 and it was easy to do all online or over the phone. The unit was ready for us, and the staff made it easy when we decided to move to a smaller unit. The whole facility is spotless and easy to come and go from. The staff made it easy to set up and end my lease. Will definitely be back if I ever need storage space again.

Horrible company to hear from the CBC news about them. It's outrageous that a company doesn't have any responsibilities of owner's stuff. TERRIBLE!

Getting a contract was super easy, and cancelling when no longer needed was even easier. The place is always clean, well illuminated and secured. Whenever I need storage, I'll come back to Sentinel, no question about that!

It was to get set up with the storage locker. The locker was perfectly clean, in fact, the whole place is immaculate. We found ourselves a bigger place to live and didn’t need the space so we moved everything out and advised that we were done. Easy to end the rental. Smooth process and pleasant staff.

I've had my first experience with the staff at Sentinel Storage, Vancouver, and have found them to be so helpful! Cedric went out of his way to deal with a shipping company who delivered at the wrong time and he fully assisted with sorting out my storage space. I am so thankful. The staff at the desk, selling a lock to me, was also more than willing to go the extra mile. In setting up the agreement, at the start, the staff on the phone were also very professional and courteous. The experience has been exceptional.

The promotional free month has considerably less cost than the competition (admin fees) and you're not obliged to.thier locks.plus the hours seem better.

Added two months later - being treated with understanding and dignity was a uplifting note for having to make a last minute change from (nothing to do with sentinel) a life situation that robbed me of dignity and demonstrated zero effort understand. In this day and age, a rare and welcome difference.

We were looking for storage in the area and after visiting several others in the area, Sentinal was by far the cleanest, best maintained, and well designed storage facility we found. Not only that, but our customer service rep Ravia was exceptional - very courteous, professional, and extremely helpful. I will definitely return and would not hesitate recommending.

Way over priced and the room sizes that you pay for are smaller then what's posted.my friend was paying for a 5'x10' that was 3'8" x 7'11". Good thing i had my tape measure with me to prove they were lying.when we went to the front desk to point this out, we were immediately told we were lying until we took the attendant up and measured.then he has to get his tape measure and proved again i was right and that my tape measure wasn't wrong.

I find this place to be well managed, prices are a little high, but with their type of sucerity, I feel that my stuff is 100% safe, and the hours are within reason also, having access from 6am till 11pm, that is defentally worth the price, and i like using Sentinel Storage-Vancouver

We got a unit for a month while on vacation. Very good prices and really easy signup. Lots of different sized units.

MY UNIIT WAS BROKEN INTO and the tresspasser had enough time to rummage through my boxes, and it is my understanding (according to the distric manager) that multiple units were broken into. We keep very few items of value, mostly sentimental, I would certianly not recomend this place if you want to store anything of value. My rent keeps going up (like multiple times a year) yet they are unable to provide secure units. I'm very disapointed. I never write negatie reviews but feel the need to let people know what happened to us so they can make an informed decsion.

Highly professional, please do not loose Justin the Manager and the woman who work there, They are a good acquisition.

Please reward both of them. For the help they are providing for the clients of SENTINEL.
You should increase their wages rapidly before loosing these two precious, and very dedicated, conscious employees

So great. Louise was super helpful and very clear with how the operation works. The hours of access are daily until 11pm, I believe. The place is big and cheap, big freight elevators and lots of dollies to move stuff, and getting there is a snap. What's not to like?

Sentinel Storage - Vancouver provided top notch service for the whole duration. Highly recommended.

The facility was clean, the carts made moving our stuff in and out easy, and it was well lit. The slopes loading dock also made unloading easy. We were not given good advice on the size of unit we would need, but in the end, they had another larger unit for rent. This confusion was likely due to the poor English language skills of the friendly agent who helped us.

Was a great storage unit company till original owners sold. Since new owners, facilities and cleanliness seized to exist and simple upkeep has deteriorated. Our units were broken into from lack of security and monitoring devices were clearly not working as they should have been. Items still missing and all we get is a lot of lip service and finger pointing. Avoid this facility and take your business somewhere else.
Trust me!

We have 2 units here and are impressed with the cleanliness and openness of the place - definitely the best!

The experience was overall disgusting. 100% doubting about the safety after we had experience with a break in issue back to the end of February. Manager contacted me 1 month after what happened.
More than one theft broke into the storage, and depends on the situation inside, they at least spent 1 hour to open each boxes and selected all the valuable items before the alarm work.
The company claimed that they did not allow the thefts left the building, however, we still lost over $20000 items. We spent over 3 months to deal with this until now, and Sentinel throw us to deal with the insurance company 100% by our self.
The manager, Louise Buonsante said there will be an internal assessment after the insurance process since we lost more than it covers, however, after we got total compensation $1900 out of what we lost $20000, she told me it out of her control, and if I am not satisfy with the outcome, I should go and contact the adjuster of the insurance company myself.

She also promised it will be a consideration of refund me the rental for the unit, and it is no more than a lie to push me close the claim with the insurance company. And now, she said she promised me nothing and if I got the information wrong, she felt sorry.

I am questioning about the safety of this storage room as well as the integrity of the company. I think it should be close and re-assessment.

I am still waiting for the final outcome from the company after the manager back at the end of the month from her vacation. I am not expecting much about it, not anymore, just consider it as a lesson which I hope nobody else needs to learn.

In the picture, it showed how bad it was initially, and we two girls were almost cried out after we saw this. And it took us more than 8 hours to cleaned up.

I know there were more than one unit been broke in, and I suggested everyone should file a complaint with BBB.

If you want your items back to you safely, do not consider this company.

Sentintel Storage has some of the best customer service I have EVER come across! Not only were the staff patient with my questions and extremely informative, but also quite flexible and understanding when it comes to renting a space for partial months and prorating for us.
The facility is very bright, open and CLEAN. The pricing is excellent for what they offer, and everything about them was almost too good to be true.
Very happy and will certainly be a customer again should I ever need storage in the future!
