This branch for some reasons doesnt have enough staff ALL THE TIME. And when you ask them for help, they're always hesitant. They would always ask you instead, did you check this, did you go there, Ive been walking around the store aimlessly around the staff for several minutes, isnt it time to assist when a customer asks for help? Everytime i visit this store, im always a lone shopper cos everyone is hesitant to help. I just visit this branch when i really have no other option. I gave stars though for leaving your customers alone.

I came to this store looking for help- a solution to my everyday makeup mess. I wanted to look confident, radiant and less like a tired-mom without all 10 steps in my routine (baby at home and no time). I asked a lady near the front of the store for some products she could recommend for my skin (blurring, color correcting, redness reducing, and matte finish- perhaps a CC cream or likewise) something to help me look refreshed and look like I'm not wearing any makeup at all. Before I could ask about product, she buzzed her radio and had another gal jump at the prospect to help me. She was not wearing the Sephora attire and was in bright yellow instead. She pushed me to the left of the store and kept me there. Super Goop- was the recommendation. I was not sold on it- I asked about other options, it kept coming back to that wall and that product line. There was an entire store dedicated to the idea of beauty and all I got was someone eager to make a sale on a product. I was not given a Sephora employee, I was given up to a consultant supporting their brand- and only their brand. So due to my 'cluelessness' of products, I was duped into buying something that was not what I wanted- purely out of pressure to just leave the store. My first time at Sephora- and definitely my last. Instead, I went home- tried the products (outrageously priced btw), felt greasy, took them back to the Sephora in Guildford and am never going back. Thank you, but no thank you. Clueless non-makeup savants, beware.

Almost everything that made Sephora into the powerhouse it is today, is gone. No mini lessons, no free mini makeup sessions, and most importantly, no more free testers of anything. Combined with the horrible reward point system, bye.

5 stars customer service from Kiran! I went to the store to by a small gift and I end with something more expensive but much more usable.she exceeded my and my wife’s expectations!

I’ve had good experiences at this Sephora but I’m pretty disappointed with my recent experience. I had placed an order online for pickup but on the last day that my order would be expiring I had something come up and so I called the store to see if there was any way that they could extend the pickup to the next day. The employee on the phone told me that would be fine and she would make a note. The next day I went in and my order was gone and the item was sold out everywhere. I waited about 15 minutes to speak with the manager to see what could be done and she came over honestly not very friendly or apologetic about the situation. She just kept repeating the store policy and asking who I talked to on the phone. I completely understand that the store policy is that expired orders go back on the floor but I was not told this on the phone so it was really frustrating. Also, the fact that she was so matter of fact and dismissive made me feel unheard. A simple “I’m very sorry about the situation but unfortunately…” at the start of the interaction would have been appreciated. I understand that mistakes happen but for the manager of the store to handle the situation that way was disappointing. I hope next time will be better.

I had a horrible experience at Sephora Coquitlam. I got a gift for my birthday and before spending time in there I asked the staff at the front if it would be ok for me to exchange this item without a receipt the staff said yes should not be a problem. I was in there with my 4 year old looking for something for about 30 minutes I found a product that I liked so went to the front I was told by the cashier they were not able to do this without a receipt I asked to speak to the manager. A girl named Bailey came and before I could even say anything she just said no did not even give me a chance to really speak finally when I was able to get my word in I asked if there's anything I could do she told me I would have to get the person that purchased this item to get a receipt I had told her it was gift I'm not going to ask that. I get that there are policies but she didn't even care just right away it was no even though I was told at the front I was able to do that I would not have been in there for 30 minutes with a 4 year old if I knew I was not able to do the exchange. Clearly staff needs to know policy. Once again I can understand that there is a policy but Bailey was very rude and short and super frustrating for me to have been in there with my kid for 30 minutes we all know how busy Sephora is and how crowded. Will not be going back and I'm sure that does no matter to the company since I'm just one person but I was just very upset about the situation and how little the manager cared to hear me out.

Very dirty store, makeup spilt on floor, dusty shelves, and I watched one the employees tell 2 other employees to watch a young girl who looked to be 11 looking around waiting for her mom as if she was stealing.

I want to thank Yulia as an excellent, decent, efficient and responsive seller! The impressions from cooperation are the most positive. Everything is very clear and specific. For me, finding good perfumes is always difficult and stressful, but Julia prompted and showed me so many options that I was able to make a choice in a couple of minutes! Thanks Julia for everything! We will visit you again.

I had an amazing customer service experience here! The workers help me place an online order for products I couldn’t find in store. I needed a credit card to pay for the purchase, but I only had my debit card on me so they recommended I buy a gift card. Unfortunately there was some problem with the gift card. We ended up spending a little bit of time trying to figure out how to do the transaction. They had a lot of patience and were very willing to help. They ended up giving me a gift (which was totally unnecessary) as an apology for the situation. They handled it very professionally and I’m very happy to say I enjoyed the visit!

Poor management. Drove 20 minutes believing they would be open when I arrived, but they closed an hour earlier than posted online. Waste of gas and time

I had a makeup appointment with Kiran yesterday and she was fabulous with me. As a senior I was seeking advice for skin care and makeup and she addressed all of my concerns and gave me such helpful advice. Keep up the great work!

I have been using Sephora products for a couple of years and I have been truly satisfied with every single product I have purchased.
