Had a very nice time looking around this store. First time in this location. Loved that you could sample all the products before you buy them. I decided to try this set as it was priced very well. It's called The Sol de Janeiro Jet set gift pkg. Containing Body Wash, Body Cream and #40 Perfume Mist! Smells so good My granddaughters Love this and so do I!

This is by far the worst location in the lower mainland. I usually always get greeted and helped when I go into any of Sephora's Stores but not this one. Staff talking amongst themselves instead of helping out customers. If you want good service check out Coquitlam Center the staff there have always been helpful.

I went to Sephora many times. I went there on 15 November and it was my birthday. They said they don’t have any gifts left and then we came back. They said you can take your gift in between 15 after your birthday. I went there 3 times I went there today too. They keep saying that they don’t have any left. Is that even true that they give gifts? I always buy stuff whenever I go there. I don’t get it. If you don’t give any gifts then you shouldn’t make us fools.

I visit sephora at least once a week. I love makeup. However, this is a small store and is always sold out of the most popular items. Even if I hold it and pay for it online, my orders are often cancelled due to non existing stock.

The staff can either be really nice or really rude and pushy. It depends. The lack of consistency in this store is really disappointing and I always drive to bigger sephoras an hour away.

Talked to an associate on the floor about skincare for a while and she recommended to me a face wash that has absolutely cleared my skin and already started fading my acne scars! Thank you for having knowledgeable staff!

When I went to check out. The girl didn’t take my email correctly so I didn’t get any points! And no samples. With over 200$ purchase. Every time this has happened here. This is why I just order online now. But I wanted to check out a new line of make up before buying. I had a feeling. Reconfirmed it. And still.

Love love love Sephora. I really like this store. Their so helpful with any questions you may have. If you don't like something even if you opened it up. You can still bring it back if it doesn't agree with you.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to exchange a gift I received from someone at Christmas, with a recipt. I asked they put it on a gift card since I suspected they would give me grief with it being so late. Jordy the store manager could do nothing, even after I explained I had been out of town for a month. Wouldn't honour it, or exchange r put it on a store credit and said I was out of luck since it was past the date I could return by. He was rude, even accused me of shopping at Guilford store on the 20ths when clearly that's the person who purchased the gift.

I always shop here for all the girls in the family for birthdays and Christmas. This Christmas I made my usual several trips to purchase gift cards and items. The staff entering the store were cheerful and welcoming however the purchase counter staff on two different occasions in the month of December were not nice and welcoming at all. I spent hundreds of dollars in one trip to only get one tester of perfume however I didn’t say anything. Then returned with a gift card I got for Christmas and said to the staff that my birthday was recent and she was rude and short with words saying we don’t give stuff just points. As much I love points it’s the samples that allow us to try and make future purchases. I said well do you have any samples you could throw in? She gave me one and only one from the bags full she reached into for it. Very disappointed! I can honestly say several things I regularly purchase now all came from getting samples and being able to try the product.

Wouldn’t recommend this location. I just went in (at 2: 45pm) to do a return (the product was making my skin breakout and completely dry). The Coquitlam location told me yesterday that they could honour my full refund because I bought it Oct. 30 so legit a day maybe two past. It’s not like I just didn’t like it.was legit making my skin horrible. I tried really hard to like it. I am a day or two late because I just didn’t have the time personally until now. The shift supervisor on shift kept saying to me “I just don’t understand the reason or why they would say that”. She wasn’t very kind at all.couldn’t tell me more as to why she also couldn’t honour it. Went to high street today because I had 30 minutes in between shifts at work and I work out here. Wish I had the time
I would’ve gone to coquitlam, I will never come into the high street location again. Very unimpressed.

I absolutely adore girly feminine things, I usually love coming to Sephora because something about it makes me feel like such a princess! All of the pretty packaged things and the knowledge that serious self care is about to happen makes me so so excited I recently came to Sephora because it was my birthday on January 25th, and they always offer a free gift for your birthday! I never feel right just going in to get the free item, I always buy something also because gosh it's just so easy to find something lovely anyway lol. My boyfriend and I looked around and I found a lipgloss and a lipstick that were perfect I went up to the counter and paid and it was off to an awesome start to the day! Or so I thought.my boyfriend had noticed that the entire time we were shopping, there were three employees following us in the store. My boyfriend told me that they were talking about us and pointing at us. He didn't tell me this until far later because he didn't want it to wreck the day or leave me feeling uncomfortable. I was so disappointed to hear about that because I already have a hard time just walking into Sephora because it can be a little intimidating, and I can be a little shy. I wish it could have been the way I interpreted things instead of the way my boyfriend saw things. It made a happy thing feel like a yucky thing.

Only came in for eyeliner, left with almost $200 worth of products (and it was totally worth it!). Will was super helpful and friendly, and I am completely in love with the suggestions I ended up buying. They even joked about coming back to return any products and yelling at them So precious. Great Sephora location!

Wife Bought makeup remover in Dec, we got into a car accident after that and weren’t able to use this product at all. Last week we tried to use it and it gave a rash to her face. We went to return it and the cashier I can’t but let me call my manager and when the manager come she said I am so sorry but I can’t do anything about it. If the manager has no discretion then why are they there? I rate them 0 Star but that wasn’t possible.

Worst customer service ever!
Every time I walk in wearing makeup, no one ever asks me if I need help. The days I wear no makeup and my hair is up is the day everyone in the entire store collectively decides they want to help me. Today, I walked in wearing my hair up, no makeup and a mask because I’m recovering from a cold and I was not able to shop in peace without being interrupted 20 times. There was even an incident where two of the employees were standing in front of me and they asked one after another if I needed help. I ended up going off on the second one that asked me the same exact question. I also asked her if she was deaf? I personally think this location needs to hire people that actually have customer service experience.

This is probably the worst customer service I've experienced in a while. This was my first time shopping at this location and I'm extremely dissapointed. Upon walking in, I noticed it wasn't busy, with maybe two other people shopping. I needed help finding an item and I approached the front counter where three girls were standing. The three girls standing together stared at me blankly, without a simple hello or can I help you with something. I asked for help finding an item and rather than help me one of the girls asks another girl who was busy with another customer. Being a business owner myself and seeing how they acknowledge their customers at this store, it's no wonder why this place has the negative reviews it does. Do better.

Went in a few weeks ago to look at some skincare products for the first time— I’m usually visiting Sephora for makeup, and decided it was time to change and splurge on some high-end skincare.

I did research a few products I had in-mind before visiting (toner and cleanser). It was pretty slow when I visited. I was approached by one associate, and I didn’t have any questions at the time. But when the time came to ask ones help, nobody was around, or there was one person assisting customers to the particular skincare/ hair product they needed, but would just leave right away before I could ask for help.

I probably spent 45 mins there cause I was really unsure about two products that I was comparing, and just had to read into it more on my phone and the ingredients as well to make my decision.

My sisters and I came for perfumes and oils. The staff was great and helped a lot when you approached them. I got a vanilla perfume that was recommended. Prices are reasonable. Just sad there are no samples anymore. I would definitely come back.

No denying they sell great products here and have no shortage of them. However I did walk out today flabbergasted after asking to smell a fragrance and being told I can only smell it through my mask! That'll be the day I spend $300+ on a fragrance I'm not even allowed to smell lol. Not the same policy in Vancouver so I'll take my buisness there. Won't shop here again and I hope they miss the thousands my girlfriend spends here as well.

I have been to other Sephora locations in Burnaby and Vancouver but by faar the staff here is The Best, they actually take time with you to figure out what are your needs and try to help you out. Meghan is a Star.

Shout out to Caitlyn for helping me find the right lip shade. She ran all around the store looking for the perfect color, and nailed it!

I’m not a big makeup wearer, and find Sephora daunting and have a hard time finding what I’m looking for. Most of the time I leave without buying.

So it was super nice to have such friendly and helpful service!

In the past, I have felt overwhelmed going into Sephora and never received much help or enthusiasm from employees. I went in this past week looking for some makeup and needed advice on different products. Jordy was the employee who helped me, and I have never been more impressed. His customer service was excellent. He took his time with me and made sure I had everything I needed. Please give this guy a raise, he truly deserves it! Thank you Jordy for your help, you are the reason I will return to Sephora!

Some of the staff are a lot nicer than others. Some will completely ignore you but once you find the one gem they usually make up for the rest of the experience. I wish I remember the young ladies name that helped me, but she made up for past experiences. Helped me find all my perfect shades and made me feel a lot more confident with my purchases.

I went shopping at this location today and felt SO uncomfortable shopping there. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by one employee and asked him a question which was fine but then as I continued to shop another employee would not stop following me and asking if I needed any help every 2 minutes.i was looking at a display near the doors and she even went and shut the door that leads to outside that was open. I get you want your employees to be cautious about theft but to follow a paying customer to the point where I wanted to leave without buying what I wanted was not cool. Guess I’m never shopping there straight after work since I look so unpresentable apparently.

I've been to quite a few Sephora locations now and this one is by far my favourite! I was greeted by Conor, who was so helpful and incredibly knowledgable on products. He made the shopping experience super fun and even though we only came in to look for a present, we left with a couple things for ourselves! Thank you so much again!

Good range of brands and often stocked up well on everything. Most of the staff are very kind and knowledgeable but I find if you go in without makeup on they will follow you around excessively and treat you not great.

Worst customer service. Completely ignored me and I was hoping to be in and out as I had my kids. I was super lost and more than willing to drop a few bills on a new cover up line as all my old stuff was stolen. More than glad to take myself back to shoppers!

I went into the Highstreet store and was so lost. I had Rimmy help me and she was absolutely amazing. She helped me pick out things and didnt try selling me things I wouldnt need. Definitely will be my ho to store from now on!

The selection of makeup is insane. I'm not much of a makeup wearer though and felt a bit overwhelmed by all the choice. The only reason for a 4 star review is due to the lack of customer service. I was there for 20 minutes or more trying to figure out what worked and no one asked if I needed help or anything. The only reason I even went was to use a giftcard I'd been given

Went in and bought a few items. When I got to the cash register, I also asked for a gift card. She rung me up very quickly, I paid and she handed me my bag. Since she was done so quickly, I asked her if she remembered the gift card. She said "Yes! ". I go to walk to my car and thought, I'd better double check. Of course the genius did not put the card in the bag. I'd be so mad if I went home without my gift card that I paid for!

This customer service at this location is consistently so poor. The store had at least 8 (6 on the floor, I believe) employees working when I had come in, 4 of whom were all congregated in one area just talking amongst themselves. I could tell they made eye contact with me, however, none of them acknowledged that I may need help. I tracked down one of the girls who was already helping someone because she seemed like she had a more kind, helpful demeanor and she was certainly super nice - even double-checked if the product I wanted was in stock (though it unfortunately wasn't). The girls at the till had very good customer service skills and were very sweet. All in all though, I would still look back on this as a pretty negative shopping experience; it always just seems to be this specific Sephora location.

The staff is very unhelpful! I had to track down a girl and then when I asked about a product she just said it was really good! Could provide me with no further details. I asked for a sample and she said someone else would help me. The other 3 girls stood there talking to each other as other customers wanted help as well. The girl at the till was very nice and friendly but the rest of the staff was very unhelpful and had a poor attitude. I have been going to Sephora for a long time and the Abbotsford one is always this way. Please hire new staff or train your staff better.

Absolutely terrible Sephora location. Poor customer service and always out of stock! I've been in four times in the last month and a half to purchase four products I've been waiting for. They have not restocked them. Not once. Not sure how this store stays open, almost never any customers in there and they don't have an products to sell. Not impressed.

I went into Sephora High Street this evening for one item in particular but needed assistance with which colour suited me. Not one single employee out of the 7+ employees working even bothered to assist me, let alone greet me whatsoever. This is becoming an ongoing reoccurrence with this location. The employees are horrendous and need a tongue lashing from a superior. Such snotty-ness, attitude and pure laziness. I went around 7pm so there weren’t many customers in store but the employees were too busy chatting away amongst themselves. Here’s a tip for future customers - skip this location and head straight for a different one.or buy online to avoid a similar experience.
