Serious Coffee Sooke

Great drinks. Fair price. Friendly cashier. Only thing its missing is the ocean view.

Service is too slow.there was one person ahead of us being served and we waited for 6 minutes then we left before even getting to place an order

I gave this a 3 star because i went in for a nice beverage on a rough day. I'm relaxing, while only having had 3 sips of my expensive large eggnog Chai latte.it spills all over the place. We had to call someone over to get a mop and clearly you could tell it was a full fresh cup all over the place. Other coffee places I've been to have offered new beverages no problem when unfortunate events like this happen. I understand I spilled my drink but it's the service and courtesy of asking a customer if they'd like a new beverage rather than cleaning it up and ignoring the fact that there full expensive coffee was all over the floor. Thanks serious coffee. Not sure I'll go there again.

Great little coffee shop, pretty busy but definitely worth the stop, especially if you have Laundry to do!

Just my personal opinion but this Serious Coffee is the BEST on the island. I love the atmosphere of a quiet cozy place. I love the art displayed there. Especially the piece that is in the washroom. I love people who work there: don’t engage in small talks when customers are not willing to talk (that’s me), advise something in Sooke area for visitors (that’s for many tourists here).

Not bad. I really like their brownies! I had a matcha tea latte with soy milk and it was pretty good. Not the best that I've had (because I make them at home haha) but really good anyway!

Edit Jan 2023: my favourite place for fun latte flavour combinations! I love the lavender syrup:)

Edit Sept 2023: Google keeps asking me to edit my reviews (lol) so here we go! I've tried multiple tea combinations now, and this has become my favourite place to chill with a book, chat with random humans, or just enjoy myself in general. Really great vibes here
