Service BC Centre Courtenay

Sue will search and go exceptionally far out of her way to fail you. I'm not sure how after all these complaints there hasn't been an effective measure taken. No proper dispute method either.

Someone else had said if you get her just leave, I second that statement.

The older woman with the grey hair (believe her name is sue, after reading some reviews this is a comon problem) failed me for "not doing my right hand shoulder checks while stopped. " (I did do them just not while "fully" stopped) She panicked and lost control when I did a left hand turn and a car was coming our way (100% was not a close call) I've been driving for a long time, I did everything very well and she found one little thing. After taking time off work and spending fifty dollars, very inconvenient and upsetting. This woman plays nice but is actually quite rude and arrogant. Ill be challenging these results and will not be coming back to the courtenay location.

Updated the address on my driver's license, in and out within 5 minutes, fast and courteous service.

I had to wait hours for an appointment, and there was so less place! Grossly disappointed!

Waiting time was reasonable for a Service office. After a 10 minutes wait, I was directed to a lady named Shannon. She made the process of "moving" from Ontario to B. C.easy. I got my driver's license and health card changed over to BC in no time. Shannon was pleasant, smiling and treated us with respect. My spouse was at the next window talking to Tiana and she had the same experience. Shannon and Tiana are an an incredible asset to this ServiceBC office. Thank you ladies.

I went in to apply for a BCID without a scheduled appointment, the wait was about 4 hours, but they told me I could go home and they'd message me when they were ready for me, the actual appointment only took 7 minutes and the staff were nice and helpful

0/10 Do not go here unless you are retired and have a lot of time to waste. Appears to be 10 stalls with 3 employees working. Maybe this work from home thing doesn't work. Nice to see I can get the services my ludicrous amount of taxes pays for.
