I booked my appointment online, so I cant commant on the waiting time. Staffs are really helpful and friendly.

Great place security guard is blunt and a straight shooter. I had no problems and service was good.

Great service, everyone was helpful and friendly. Arrived at 10: 30am and was out by 11: 30am. Security guard was also friendly and kind.

Security guard is rude, I had to use the washroom and he barked at me that next time I move I will lose my spot. He was not clear on where for me to sit and now is saying I am wrong, I do not appreciate being treated like this and feel he needs to learn how to be respectful and how to give better direction. Couldn't get my passport done because they did not communicate with me that they stop doing g passports at 3: 30. Thanks for wasting my time!

To be honest I read the reviews on map before going, to be honest, the service wasn't bad, for me at least, but you do have to wait for a long time (depending on when you arrive, I arrive at 1: 30, and ends up waiting for 2 hours) and that's why I deducted one star, they doesn't seems to have enough counters, or simply because some people's things do take a while to complete, but the service of those employees is very friendly, and they will guide you patiently until everything is completed. As for the complaint about the rude security guard， well, I guess it can only be blamed on bad lucks since I didn't meet any rude security guard.

If you’re planning to visit, be ready to deal with an a$h_0l security guard. I witnessed him insulting and being rude to almost everyone coming. Try to record a video of his acts so we can give it to the news and also file a complaint.

To the guard,
This is Canada and you are a ‘security’ guard appointment by some agency to do your duty, not entitled to scold at tax paying people who visit the government.

One of the worst service i have ever been to should hire more staff so people don't have wait whole day

Took my cousin from Australia here for paper work for his studies here and had some work again a few weeks later. The lines are horrible and the workers could certainly move things along faster. I guess they don't care and rather would fool around instead of rightfully earning their secure government pay and pensions. The bigger problem is the attitude of the man at the check in desk and the security guard. If you can't work at a decent pace then at the very least treat people kindly and with respect.

If you can’t come at 8am don’t bother coming here or you won’t be seen, the waiting times are absolutely absurd and I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just hire more people in a time where it’s clearly needed.

The experience with the staff was great but the security guard was awful he was acting like if he is the boss of everyone he was very rude with an elderly couple and trying to show bossy behaviour over them by talking rude to them and when other people supported the couple he went even more loud. I should praise one brave girl who stood for them and asked that if they are not good at understanding english then she can help them but instead of being nice the guard became more angry and even one of the staff went to support the guard even after knowing what just happened. He told the girl that i know 4 languages and then after some time he told that he can communicate in 7 languages like what the hell. Why don’t he use that skill to help them understand. Is he dumb. Why do he know so many languages when he is not able to use them to assist people. His job is to assist people not attack them with words. He is using his authority excessively to harass innocent people. I have read many reviews against him still the office is not doing anything i think they are supporting him in one or another way. It was very sad to witness suck kind of behaviour in a place where the staff inside is very good, nice and helpful.

Security guard claims he can speak & understand punjabi but giving tough time to punjabi elderly couple who were waiting outside for over an hour. I and other girl witnessed him showing attitude and giving them tough time.

If this security guard is representing this building or how the government works I want nothing to do with it. So rude and disrespectful. Get rid of him

Finally made it inside after a few hours of waiting outside. No wonder it takes so long. Soon as they're done with there appointments they take there time in the back eating or talking. Meanwhile the guy up front is saying they're only helping 4-5 no appointment people per hour. And 4 or 5 appointments a hour

I had a bad experience with the aggressive security guard. He don't even speak French at Service Canada, and is very rude with people who don't speak English. Otherwise, I was happy to be serve in French by officer inside.

Good service.however, I Did not like the behaviour of security guard people. He was so rude.please change the security guard.

All the staff were great, Except for the Security guard! Rude and poor behavior. I wish they do something about it.

First of all, I really appreciated that I could talk french with all of the team.
Also, they were extremely nice with me (I talked to 5 people in total).
All of them were really professional and helpful.
I had a bad experience in Squamish so I wanted to say it.
A man even found me an appointment for the same day, right away, just because he wanted to help me and I'm very thankful for that.

However the security guard could be nicer with people. He was very nice with me but the way he talked to the other person behind me was quite curtly.

Security guard was absolutely horrible. Avoid this location unless you like to be talked down to and not listened to

This government facility demonstrates how rude and arrogant person can still be working as door guard. Some training needed.

All the staff members are very nice and cooperative but the security guard was too rude. We went there early morning and we already having appointment but he spoiled our whole day the way he talked.

I went there today for my biometrics appointment. The lady on the desk was very friendly and cooperative. Could've given five stars but the security guard on the reception disappointed me. He was very rude and arrogant as he argued to me about a mistake caused by the computer system. He doesn't know how to treat costumers well and with respect. Disappointed with his behavior.

The Abbotsford location was fine both times that I visited; there is always someone to help in order to make the lines go faster.

The team there have always been helpful (and patient with my many questions) If they aren't able to answer a question they point you in the direction of someone who can. It would be wonderful if they were accessible later than 4pm or on weekends so people can contact them when they have finished work.
