Renewed our passports today. Make sure to pay with credit card as they will put you in a different lineup than paying with debit card. Total wait time 1 hour 15 min. Debit card lineup was 4+ hrs today they said.

Need to apply for our very first passport. We got there at 7: 30am, as they open at 8am. There were about 60 people ahead of me on a rainy day. As soon they opened, the team inside tried to fit everyone in as fast as they could, to keep people off the rain. The blond lady that was screening was very rude, like she didn’t want to be there at all, besides that, everyone else was super nice and helpful. We were out of there by 9: 30am. Super recommend.

I went with my very senior Mom to apply for her passport. Overall great experience right from the entrance with the security officer and finally with the service Canada official.
Exceeded my expectations.

Service was efficient. Arrived 8: 30 and had a line -up of approx 40 to 50 people inside. The entire process for passport renewal took approx 2 hours. Received new passport earlier than expected.

This is probably the worst Service Canada I have been, and I have been in more than 5. I don’t know where to start honestly. I wasted a day of my life for nothing but let’s skip that. The security guy there is so rude that I have no idea how I survived the whole day without arguing or actually talking to someone about him. He speak to people like he is the most superior and everyone else is just trash. DISGUSTING! I can’t explain in words the way that person points to everyone what to do, and oh don’t you dare not doing it. Everyone else in the building is just average. There was only this girl who apparently it was her first day at work, young very very polite and sweet. The only one who actually cared that we were waiting for so long.

First time in a Canada Services passport renewal office and if you have Nexus, link your new passport number to it. The service here today seemed efficient enough, helped me add missing information on the paper work by adding the word Canada, I guess it's not a given! Waiting time was short and seeing (hearing) interesting things with not much privacy. Sign said "10-Day Passport Services" but didn't read the fine print. Great expectations seeing my new passport in 10 business days (2 weeks). Today the security guard, was more like a a Walmart greeter. Parking around this office is free, but in short supply when busy, and a 3 hour limit. No photos because the says "no photos".

I arrived at 7: 50 and there were about 40 people ahead of me waiting for the doors to open at 8: 30. I stood in line for 30 minutes, then got my ticket and waited another 30 minutes till it was my turn. I was out of there by 9: 45. My friend who works at the passport office recommends this location where the lines are shorter. If you're here for a passport renewal like me, the process is relatively quick. If for sin number, it sounds like it takes way longer.

Very disappointed, I have appointment at 9: 00 am. But I had to wait for 3 hours and there was no benefit of making an appointment as walk-in and people with appointment both were treated same. No doubt, there was shortage of staff but they should give preference to appointments and prohibit walk-in. Worst experience ever.

Friendly & knowledgeable. Staff keep you informed of wait times.tip: Get there at least 1 1/2hrs before opening to be one of the first in line.

Super Busy place and all the staff is very rude even the Security Guards. They think that they’re doing favour by helping us.

The people who work here are wasting taxpayers' money. They're just looking at their phones, talking to each other, but they're not working. Four hours in line. It's third world productivity.

If u have patience you will get your new sin number in 3/4 hrs time. Waiting time is same or worst in other locations atleast the staff here is very polite and friendly.
I went in today to get my new sin number for first time at 8: 30 am and was able to get it printed by 12 noon.
The process itself is only 10 minutes but you wait for people ahead of you. So if you want it in under 1 hr it's best you show up early around 7: 30.

Under staffed, its full with people waiting and counters are empty and no one is getting the service.

Worst place ever to get your work done. Best advise is to go to any other location. They are not even working properly. The day I visited they are 3 employees working there and still I have to wait for 5 hours. It is clearly visible that they are only attending 2-3 people per hour which is really slow.

Went today, waited 6 and half hours. Ridiculous! Only one worker was fast and getting a few done, rest of workers so slow and don’t care. Then they go on breaks, taking turns. One hour and half right there. Seeing 2 people in an hour and half is unacceptable. Security guard busy telling us all to move closer. There was no more room in line up, where does he want us to go? On top of each other.he even kicked an older lady out of a seat so he could seat there. Shame on him! Avoid going to this centre at all costs. Slow, rude staff. The guy that finally processed my passport was pleasant but very slow!

Disappointing to hear there is currently no functioning bathroom, and to be told to use a portapotty outside or the bathroom at Tim Hortons. I don’t think it’s reasonable for a government office to be instructing its visitors to use a neighbouring business’ bathroom.

The absence of comment cards at their station to submit feedback reflects upon their overall attitude towards how they treat their visitors who must unfortunately spend many hours there during their visit.

Lastly, found it amusing that visitors must wear masks, but are being forced to stand very close to each other in line by the employee despite no lack of space within the facility. So much for social distancing when possible.

The service is horrible, long lines. I waited from 8: 30am-4pm And still didn't get my passport renewed! Don't recommend, they waste your time!

Waiting time is somehow understandable but the counter guy appointed today (Nov 22) was not good at providing customer service, was even rude to elders.

Good Service and Staff just got my SIN number. Mask is mandatory but they do provide there as well.

Literally the worst service canada office, they work so slow and don’t care about the people waiting hours and hours. The security guards are extremely rude and don’t know how to speak to people. We waited 6.5 hrs for our turn. Only 2 desks are open and way too slow for the amount of people they get. Would not recommend please just go to a different location.

I has an 8: 30am appointment. I was seen at 8: 31am. I didn't get the name of the person who processed my application, but he sat at window number 9. He was extremely pleasant and respectful. He quickly processed my application, and I was out of the office by 9: 02am!

There were a few people in 'no appointment' line. I'd say maybe 50 people. Still much better than the Central City location. I was there the week before with no appointment, and there must have been at least 200 people there split between the upstairs room and the main office. I was told it could be up to 4 hour wait or MORE.and you are only allowed 3 hours on your parking!

Keep checking the service Canada appointment website throughout the day.that's what I did and I was lucky to get an appointment.someone must have canceled because the time slot I got wasn't there just an hour before I last checked. Good luck!

I would like to thank Jas for helping with paperwork and no one else prints out all your paperwork. Jas always takes her time and looks through your paperwork also types on her computer and puts in comments. Jas is very helpful have patience and empathetic If I could give her more than 5*****I would.

Service Canada this excellent employee should be recognized and be rewarded.

Slowest one ever seen in Canada. Staff sitting won’t know the importance of people waiting in line. Few staff just simplify sitting and slacking off and not attending a single client from past 1hour.

Terrible experience waited for 8 hours still no hope of being served. They should give aloted time with wait time on screens. They should have more employees and counter to serve people.

Extremely unprofessional and didn't know how to assist with statement of contributions for CPP and was unsure how to manage other aspects of job regarding sensitive information. Also masks were required and someone asked and three staff said no don't worry about it but mentioned it is mandatory though to the person. Like what?

Went in here without an appointment at around 6 am for 2 passport application. There were three in front of me and by 8.30 the queue started to increase further. We were let in at around 8.35 am and the service was really quick. The application processing took around 20 minutes for 2 applications. But finally when I exit I was amazed to see that there were only 2 people waiting outside. I think they have increased the number of staffs here and the service has got better

Long lines no arrangements die sitting outside. Elderly people are lined up standing from 7 am till 4 fire appointments but in vain. Scc so something for elderly at atleast.

I had a booked appointment and was in and out in 1 hour with an application for my son's passport and actually had a good experience. That is until I was called by the Surrey office over a month later saying they didn't scan his birth certificate in so I was told to come into the Surrey passport office and it would be quick but of course, I'm waiting in a never ending line. So I hope someone sees this at the South Surrey location to learn to scan the birth certificate in, otherwise there was no point in my application.

You guys are the absolute worst. Zero professionalism and respect of people's time. No organization either. Terrible service all round. Extremely disappointed.

Awful experience with their service. We went there in morning and wait until 1.p. M. Even the behaviour of the security guard is so rude, he literally shouting at customers. He lied to everyone to take appointment for Saturday but Service Canada closed on Saturday and Sunday. Storages of staff. So shameful.

This place is worst with timings. I spent almost 2 days here for my turn but still there is no chance that my turn will come. Government should do something do improve canada service locations.

Without exaggeration, it was the worst governmental office in Canada that I went to, the staff were very irresponsible, they just waste our time for 2 days, I went there from 8 am and wait until 4 pm for two days to get the SIN number but I could not get it, because the staff were very slow and not skilled enough to do the process.so I went to another branch

If you have an appointment - it is great service. Staff is very nice anf efficient. Be sure you fill out your own paperwork properly and double check as to not cause delays or get rejected. Felt really bad for everyone in line though. So many people waiting but no hope if you see inside. Staff is really short and I only saw 2 people in the line without appointment get in within 2 hours.

If there was an option for 0 stars I would've given it.
Waited from 6.15 am - 4 pm for the sin number and still couldn't get inside.people with kids are waiting in severe sunlight and nobody cares.

Only one staff member is so rude. I asked one of the employee to help me and she is so rude. I called her two times she ignores me and then i went to ask her something and she didn’t even explain me properly very bad customer service. Only because of one person it took me 2 hours to figure out the things. Other lady was helpful but i think she was busy at that time.

Wow: no wait, knowledgeable, helpful agent. We conducted our business immediately and were out of there in less than 15 minutes.

Helping people getting EI and helping apply disability. Staff talking are nice and confident. I don't know what you think, but for me is good service.

This Service Canada site is always fast and very helpful. However, it is just ridiculous how there is no one to help with taxes for deceased. My sister and I have been trying to file our late father’s tax return for over a year now and feel like we haven’t progressed any further in the process. We had all the proper documents from the lawyer and still have yet to get all the proper information from the government to complete the file. No help to file by phone or in person, and HOURS waiting on hold to get a person that has NO CLUE how to handle basic tax after death questions. No one to help you, but the government will proudly continue to tax you to death after you’re long dead!
