Worst service untrained staff even they took 1 hr for one person providing sin no. Surrey is good instead of mapple ridge

Hands down the best service Canada centre in metro Vancouver.
We reached at 7: 30 for our SIN update and we were the first in line.
Our work was finished in 15 mins as soon as the centre opened. Smiling and respectful staff.

Got there about 5 minutes before it opened on a rainy Friday for a passport application. I was last in line of about 7 people. The staff were all very nice, I was out in just under an hour

The reception was ok but the employees there were not attending people as per the queue. Four people were called in front of me which I purposely remember were behind me in the line. This was so frustrating, I fail to understand why such indifferent behaviour with me. After I complained about this thing the receptionist confirmed me that I am the next in queue but after that they still called 2 other people in front of me.

Due to this bad service it took me extra 1 hour.

Service Canada should be more responsible and non-biased, where they are doing job of serving people.

Very Very Poor Service.

This was the 15th closest branch office that I could make an online appointment at and the only choice for appointments was the following day in the afternoon. So I thought about it and opted to make the almost two-hour transit ride there. When I arrived, the security person initially seemed in doubt about whether they had an appointment reserved for me but found it after a minute of looking on the system. As I was a few minutes early, he asked me to take a seat in a chair marked 'appointment'. The room was filled with people who looked like they had been waiting for quite a while. The security guy seemed surprised that I had an appointment and ask me when I booked it, to which I replied, "Yesterday. " He seemed even more surprised about that. A man sitting in a chair close to me, who was apparently next in line, seemed irritated and asked the security man if I was going to go ahead of him. The security person reassured him that my appointment was not for another 10 minutes. He did go next but I went after him ahead of everyone else. I was quite self-conscious. The rest of the experience was efficient and I was back out of there in about 20 minutes. But they didn't seem very tuned in to the appointment system online.

Service is very kind, they take their time to explain the processes and the security guard is amazing

I went to finalize my passport application and I must have just hit it right for whatever reason and there was NO ONE waiting in the queue so I was first up when the next available employee was ready for me! I was in and out within 15-20 minutes! I allotted at least 2 hours for the process so was super happy! I went on a Thursday around 12: 45 PM. I figured I'd go to a local office instead of going to Surrey after reading the passport application stories out of there and am so glad I went to this location! All the employees were helpful and knowledgeable.

Polite, respectful, and friendly staff. Luckily, there was no line up when I had been there for my passport application, probably due to bad weather. This is a small office, so expect long wait times on a busy day.

Best service. “Mai” was really helpful and very responsive. She has really positive energy. Security Guards were trying to ignore us because we were 4 for applying. They both said it’s 2: 20pm. It’s hard to do for them because they are going to close at 4pm. When we said we can apply 2 passports for our kids because it’s really hard to stand in line with toddlers. Then they had no excuse to ignore us. And there were another 8-10 people came after us. But “Mai”took all of us. I really appreciate for your service and time you spent on us Thank you Mai!

Great experience today with my passport application. I've just become a Canadian citizen and needed to apply for my passport. After hearing all the horrors from other Service Canada's with passport processing, I wanted to apply ASAP! The guards and staff were super helpful and I was seen in less than 5mins by Danny who processed my passport. He was super fast and helpful. Thank you! Just have to wait two months for it to be mailed out: - (

Tips: Go after 1pm as it was quiet and I think the staff have their lunch 12-1pm so all booths may be closed during this time. Make sure you have every piece of documentation/ID you can find!

If you don’t want to wait in long queues for hours this is the right centre.
I got my SIN number in less than an hour.
