My mother has resided @ Seton Villa for 5 years. The staff are caring, compassionate & professional. My mother likes the variety of food @ meal times. The 360 degree views are amazing. I would highly recommend Seton Villa.

Staff at Seton Villa are very nice and helpful.
I love getting to know each residents and learning what they have done before and the story they share about their life before coming to SV. I would recommend SV to all my friends:)

Seton Villa is a great place to live, the staff is very kind, caring, and helpful. You can meet lots of new people and make lots of new friends.

With my Dad needing Independent Living services, I looked no further than Seaton Villa RC. They welcomed my Dad with open arms, good service and an excellent admin and nursing staff.

An update:
my mom had suffered a major stroke due to an extreme sedentary conditions that promoted blood clothing in-spite of her being on maximum medical treatment for ischemic infarction. The way the event was handled was dangerously neglectful and caused her almost her life.
The care aide did her job better than her superior. She called me promptly as she suspected something was wrong although there is a language barrier.
LPN needed to be told to take the patient's vitals, to call 911 etc. When someone is experiencing a stroke, time is of an essence, LPN should know this. The facility did not have an aspirin at the nursing station facilitating hundreds of elderly. The LPN was playing a video game (on his phone) during the residence stroke event, having to be prompted to keep an eye on her vitals so we can report to the ambulance team any observable changes when they arrive.
Aging is never easy, and health challenges are inevitable, but neglect, incompetence, and lack of compassion of this institution and its leaders should be addressed immediately before more people are harmed.
If you are a senior with a handicap expect to be neglected and abused in this facility. If you do not speak English or speak a little English don't even think about staying in this inhuman establishment. My mother together with our whole family has had the most horrible experience. The management and administration team are inconsiderate and uncompassionate for the facility that operates with vulnerable seniors. Shameful!
Most care staff are trying to be nice. I feel bad for them bc the management is making their job unnecessarily more complex. They are doing their best in spite of the vindictive leadership.
God is our witness. One judgment I fear is God's. To Him all the glory.

This is response to the Administration Director at Seton Villa's comment:
Our family has lost trust in your ability to address issues competently and compassionately. You had two and half years to show what kind of a facility and management you are and how you care for those most vulnerable. We tried every possible diplomatic process with you until we ran out of options other than proceeding legally.
You have left blind woman, with complex post-traumatic stress disorder that does not speak English in complete isolation, neglected her physical, medical and mental health needs, basic hygiene, her specialized diet needs and only God knows what else that we are not aware of.
As a manager who made decisions that profoundly affected this elderly’s life, I hope you are ashamed of your leadership and impact your choices affected someone in your care.
I am happy to talk about this. If and when you change your perspective and are willing to work with us in mitigating the situation that is causing my mom to live in complete isolation, with no social, emotional or physical stimulation for 90% of the day, then please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

My Father resided at Seton Villa for 2 hears and he was treated respectfully, fed very well, the staff were very friendly, the facility was kept clean and in good repair, and the view was phenomenal. I have recommended Seton Villa to many friends for their family and friends.

Just a quick note about how dedicated the staff is at this facility. From the care staff to the management team, everyone ensures the highest level of care to all residents. Not to mention it is clean, comfortable, and the food is amazing.

Seton Villa has been HOME to me for the past three years. I so enjoy all the differen activities that are available daily. There is a variety of choices for three nutritious tasty meals every day. I find it very interesting talking to many new friends and I feel so looked after and safe here. I so enjoy living here.

On behalf of my brother who has lived at Seton Villa for about 7 years - staff are friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. It is also affordable for those with limited income. He says this is the happiest he’s been in his life and that living at Seton Villa has had a positive impact on his mental health. From my visits there and daily conversations with him, I wholeheartedly agree. Thank-you to all the staff at Seton Villa!

We have being here for 4 years, it is a wonderful place to live, food is great management at all levels do a great job. We are so lucky to have Michelle cook as our director. The view is spectacular, we are hoping the new addition will be built as wheelchair places are so needed.

Management and staff have been very kind and understanding with my brother who can present personal challenges at time. He has really enjoyed his time at Seton Villa thanks in great part to the professional staff and management. Keep up the good work.

My parents are loving independent living at Seton Villa Retirement Centre! They have a beautiful suite with incredible views, love the meals, the staff, and the gardens. They enjoy helping out on committees, outings, events, and with running the store! So much for retirement…these two are busier than ever! Keep up the good work, Seton Villa! ️️️️️

During my 8 days of practicum in Seton Villa, having a mentor with a compassion, caring and respectful. The staff is very nice, friendly, caring and kind. Looking forward to work with a great time.

I had parents aged 96 and 97 to care for and I understand how varied their needs were. The staff at Seton Villa are professional, kind and very competent. They provide a comfortable and caring environment for residents. Seton is struggling to add 55 more suites onto their senior's residence and they have endured great praises and harsh criticism from the neighbourhood. It's good to be cognisant of reviews that don't appear to 'fit'. Kudos to non-profit Seton Villa for their desire to give top quality care to more seniors when it's so badly needed!

I’m so pleased with the care of my father at Seton Villa. I moved him from another retirement home and now after almost a year he is happy, safe and social one again! The staff and management are very professional and kind. Many thanks.

If I can give 0 stars I would. This establishment is cruel and dangerously neglectful to vulnerable elderly like my grandma. If you are healthy and can look after yourself you may enjoy a view, but the management team is vindictive and cruel.

The people who are considering the Seton Villa deserve to know all of it: good, bad and the ugly. Our families sure experienced the ugly with Seton Villa.
