Sewak's No Frills

Love this store for grocery shopping, been shopping there for years. Super friendly and polite staff, great management and Sewak is great at trying to source items I've brought to his attention. Great overall experience. Thanks team and keep up your great work.

September 12,2023, I went to grocery shopping to No Frills in Port Coquitlam. When I went to the cashier to pay for my groceries, I put my purchases on the lane, after that placed my cart at the back of the lane, the cashier asked me if I had any rice. I didn't know what she meant, so I asked her back, but she said, "Do you have any rice? Did you mean to ask me if I bought rice? She said “Yes”, so she was asking if I had rice, which I had not done the math on. In other words, she was asking if I was cheating on the payment. It was beyond rude. I feel bad. I have never bought rice from No Frills. I buy rice only Japanese supermarkets because I eat Japanese rice.

Feels like im being watched like a hawk every time i come here with my mom.we were at the self check out and the lady grabbed my receipt from the machine which i found was strange? Very akward and wont be doing my regular shopping here. They also do not accept visa as a payment which is an inconvience. I do not recommend.

Everything ok, but if price match is advertised, please don’t create a reasons to reject, same product, same picture, has been rejected, because cashier is out of knowledge this product (ice cream). Some associates training required.

Great and fair prices for the most things. In perpendicular for vegetable, foods and meat. Also "no-name" brand is affordable with low prices like always. Clean, not crowded with respectful personal.

Convenient and pretty clean. Staff are generally pretty good especially the regulars. Increasing my review to 5 stars since they installed the self check out.

Pretty decent, just don't understand why no-one uses the self check out. Am I missing something? Long lines for cashiers with tons of empty self check out. Good for me!

A very convenient format - "quickly entered - quickly left". Has 95% of all the necessary products that you need and the ability to buy them not only on a budget, but also FAST.

This store is very clean and organized. Everyone was following the floor signage. I had coupons, so it took a little longer than I expected to pay for my groceries. The store location is great, next to Dollarama and Subway. Plenty of parking too.

Friendly staff here.lots of free parking.will need a loony coin to borrow a shopping cart.masks are still free here if you forgot to bring one with you against Covid19.

Some of the best fruits I have picked up has been from here. Not the other more expensive stores. I check here first.

Usually enough of everything you would expect in a grocery store and at fairly good prices. Really its just a small version of Superstore with a whole lot fewer people. The fruit and veggie isles are kind of cramped together though.

I don’t know why but I don’t really like this NoFrills. They just never seem to have everything I need. Prefer the Como Lake location in Coquitlam.

My fiance went in to get some groceries for dinner tonight and was going to redeem points. For whatever reason his MasterCard (my account) was not linked to the rest of all the other cards. When the cashier Kirsten informed him of this he asked if she could scan the optimum card and take the points from that card she was very rude to him and said no because there was already an account on the transaction. So he asked if she could suspend it and start a new transaction he had 5 items total so it wasn't a big ask. She actually laughed in his face and scoffed. As a fellow Loblaws worker I am appalled at the treatment of customers at this location. We will not be back to this location because of the rudeness of Kirsten.

Items on sale go really fast and the shelves are not stack up right away. Crazy line ups sometimes on weekends. Everything one can need from a supermarket with reasonable prices

It’s a really good place with reasonable prices the only bad thing is they’re not accepting credit card!

Price is the best feature. Selection and service are ok. The store itself could use a bit of sprucing up.

The prices here good and tonight, we had an excellent Cashier whose demeanor was beyond professionalism!:)

Pricing and selection is great. Need more staff and tills open when busy. Often there's only 2 tills open and I never see the express lane being utilized. I personally hate self check out but this location could use some. Picking up a few items quickly turns into long wait times in lineups.

Little bit small but it's usually well stocked and clean. Friendly enough staff and fairly quick service.

It really is cheaper than other supermarkets I've visited in the area. Their noname brand has really good products

Not bad place to buy groceries. Not as big as Superstore but not as busy. Not a fan of the meat department especially beef products. Won't buy any beef there anymore. Price is fine, but quality is terrible. Lean ground beef is like terrible regular ground beef at most stores. But saying that I still shop there. I just go to butcher shop after with the money I Savion good prices on other items.

Always a line up. They never seem to have enough of what is advertised. Why bother? I just go to the other No Frills.

Not Bad, But they only sell food and overpriced decor. I was hoping a food store would sell kitchen appliances.

Never enough cashiers on, longest line ups & no other option but to wait especially when you have 1 or 2 items

Everything was in place. Very good selection of everything. Lots of really good deals throughout the store. Friendly cashiers.

Clean and reasonably spacious (considering this store is small/medium sized). Some items are clearly cheaper than other grocery stores, but not all of them. At the end you'll probably have to complete your grocery shopping list at other stores if you really wanna save.

Great prices, however be careful with what you buy. Just found out the yogurt I bought expired 9 days ago. The lines ups are also way too long, I'm yet to see all of the registers open.

Wow! A No Frills with stocked specials. Awesome they had everything I went for. Wish you would teach the Langley No Frills how to order properly!

It's a PC farm retail store. The same with super Store. All the products from PC farm. And you can using their PC optimum rewards card. The store price is average but fruits and vegetables are fresh.

How long is it going to take for you guys to understand that you need more then 2 cashiers? Every single time I go the lines are all the way to the isles. YOU NEED TO HIRE MORE PEOPLE! And teach them customer service while your at it. Terrible service.

It's like a real Canadian Superstore because for the Port Coquitlam coummity so a little smaller than Superstore. The price is cheaper than Superstore. If Superstore not at on sale time. This store almost products from PC farm. Making a shopping list before you go and read the fly to help you to save money.

Sure, the place is old, but it had a vast selection of everything, and at No Frill prices. I was warned that I won't always find exactly what I was looking for, but there was a good amount of most things, even at the end of the day.

I am giving 2 stars just because of low prices and decent staff. However, this store is very poorly managed and I think it comes down to the fact the owner/manager is just plain cheap. The store never, ever has more than 3 cashiers open, even during peak times. They almost always run out of sales items by 2PM on Friday, the first day of their sales. The Como Lake location is way better.

I'm not sure if its a supply issue, but every time they offer berries (strawberries, raspberries) and other vegetables, they sell out by noon. Super frustrating!

Also, the produce quality isn't that great! I used to shop all the time at No Frills in Ontario and the produce was always good. Not sure what happened here or Vancouverites are just complacent with mediocre groceries. And the prices aren't that much better than Walmart.

Service is okay. Some workers will smile, others look like they'd rather be anywhere else. Pretty standard for retail.

Not the greatest of No Frills franchise in the GVA; kind of small and lower in selection, but still has all your essentials and staples.
