After hearing about this restaurant on tiktok. I went there and ordered lamb shank. They gave me lamb chops which were nothing but fat. Disappointed

If you go to this restaurant you have to try their lamb! It's tender and it's delicious.

UR restaurant used to be at this location, being replaced by the Shahrayar restaurant. The new owners are from the same country as the previous owners.
The food is equally as good.

Whether you dine in or do take out, the food is equally delicious!

Very good portion, even my dad couldn't finish it! I do wish they have more vegetarian options, but overall would recommend it

Wow this place is amazing! I live nearby and just found it now. Large portion sizes are amazing and a big part of the reason we came here, meat is so tender, juicy and flavourful. Also the bread they serve was so delicious, tastes like they make it in house! I ordered the lamb tikka and my husband ordered the BBQ Mixed platter. Both were great! Will definitely be recommending this place to others and coming here again. Thank you so much!

This is our second time to visit. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and the food is delicious! This time, we had the chicken shawarma sandwich and lamb tikka. Chicken and lamb were juicy and succulent and paired well with rice, salad and hummus. I also recommend getting the Iraqi bread (samoon baked in house) with a side order of babaganush for appetizer or to go with your meal. If you can't decide which dish to try, I recommend getting the BBQ mixed platter with beef kebab, chicken and lamb tikka or the shawarma sandwich (chicken or beef). Portions are generous enough for two people to share. You can also opt to order a dish and keep it all to yourself and take leftovers home. Come hungry. You will leave happy. I will definitely come back and recommend to family and friends. Thank you!

Went home happy! Those platters were excellent! The lamb was so tender! Chicken Tikka was well marinated!
I just don’t like drinking in a plastic cup.

Today is October 1,2023. I want to write another review because they have changed. I ordered my usual family platter rice and chicken which used to feed my family of 3, but today the portion is barely enough for one person. We are ordering out again because everyone is still hungry a bit disappointed! I wish I can include a photo but can't find that option here.

Food is fabulous. Portion size is good and my family enjoys it. Even picky eaters - my kids enjoy their food especially the humus!
The only criticism is thier biryani rice is too oily, yet extremely yummy

Really good food! We ordered the family platter with the lamb shank. The food came in on time. The lamb shank is sooo tender! The platter came with tonnes of meat. It's good enough for 6 people. And the flavour is really good. Price is really reasonable too. Family run, and very nice server. Would come back again.

We are keep trying to call from past 45 minutes, eventually no one answer the calls or call us back. Want to try their food as per reviews.one star for service only we didn’t get a chance to reserve the table. Will remove the review after tasting the food.

The lamb shank is the best I ever tried.

All the portions are big, reasonable prices and amazing taste.

Tasty Iraqi/Middle Eastern food, the owner is very accommodating, prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. And most importantly is the meal itself is very tasty and well done. My compliments to the chef.

I saw this restaurant at the surrey Festival. Wasn't able to try their food due to the long line up. Today, i went after my work to the restaurant to take out and try the food.
Order 2 mixed grill and one chicken and one beef. The food was very delicious, and the portions were good enough to fill up.meat soft and juicy. Rice delicious humus nice bread was bonus, the owner is gently man smiling and very helpful. If you haven't tried this place yet, you must. I highly recommend this place.price reasonable. I'll definitely be a regular customer, and I will invite all my family and friends there. Thank you, the best halal food in town.

The food is really good like home food in a middle eastern household. The meat is delicious! I highly recommend this place for home made food flavours. Chefs kiss!
