Absolutely amazing food. We live far from here but every time we are in the area we have to stop by and get something to eat

Rana’s restaurant is my neighborhood, restaurant, on Yale road, im so happy i could get real authentic, Indian food its like its all made at home, my kids favorite place to go, i have to say its not just food, thats good also, the service, i recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone who wants to have a fulfilling meal. I wish them well.

Outstanding food, cooked and prepared well, the ingredients are all fresh, seasoned correctly with just the right level of spices without that "salty" after taste you find in so many others. If you enjoy Indian cuisine and enjoy a high level of quality attention to your foods preparation, its cooking and presentation make this your choice of takeaway Indian cuisine. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend at work.

It was not so very good experience. We ordered Fish tikka and goat biryani. They didn’t bring our order for next 30 mins and we reminded them. After which they literally got us Fish chilly I guess bcs Tikka doesn’t taste and look like that. Also biryani was weird, no Basmati rice, had cashew on it and looked more like pulao but taste was fine.

This restaurant is awesome as compared to others in food, service and atmosphere. They decorate every dish which looks really nice.
I advice everyone, please visit there and have wonderful experience.

Best Indian Food in the Fraser Valley. Fair priced great food. Tried almost everything on the menu, and nothing has disappointed.

L used to live in Chilliwack.l used to eat there often enough that they recognized me!

They do it to order, they spice it perfectly. Mild is mild all the way up to a 4 alarm fire if you do the Madras special, which l actually got my name on the pillar!

Quite authentic tasting food. I had the butter chicken. Quite tasty. They probably should update the place a little bit though. A little run down. But the food makes up for it

Overall mediocre experience. Nothing overly bad but nothing great either.
Went there shortly after they opened for the day. Food was alright. Some items were prepared well while others could use a revisit. Server could be more enthusiastic about being there. She was explaining the cost of the lunch thali and plain naan vs butter naan and pricing seemed really high for just adding butter to the naan. Food was presented well.
The place could use a cleaning and the bathroom was messy when going to wash my hands.

Also, the location is a bit sketchy where the parking is.

Best food I've had since being in Chilliwack from the UK great flavours generous portions and fantastic service from Pearl highly recommend

We enjoyed another mouth-watering dinner at the Shandhar Hut last night. The restaurant was buzzing with people, so we sat out on the covered patio under heaters (and it was perfect). Pearl was our server and was gracious, efficient and friendly. The food was, as always, amazing & so flavourful. Wish we could have leftovers, but we ate it all!

Was told everything we were givin was gluten free. It wasn't, ended up sick and couldn't breath then when mentioned there was never an apology just an ask of a doctor's note. I could've died due to this careless action and I couldn't even get an apology for it just sworn at. If you have celiacs DO NOT GO HERE THEY DONT CARE FOR UR SAFTEY

Excellent Indian Cuisine! Everything tasted spot on, and service was amazing! Price is also reasonable for the proportions.

The best and only thing that’s going for this restaurant is food. The service is very poor. It’s very very slow. I know the food is made fresh so that creates an exception after you ordered but the time between sitting down and actually placing the order is excessively long.

A serious word of warning to anybody who has not gone in there before. The menu does not have any prices on it. Sorry I’m wrong. They have one price for lunch in about 15 bucks but any of the entrées any of the appy’s etc has all the prices deliberately scratched out. We found this out and we ordered cauliflower rice which was very good in a half decent size bowl but it was $15.

Atmosphere was OK and I am a little being a little harsh here because I like the music

We went there not knowing what to order, so we asked our server to surprise us with vegetarian dishes. The food was delicious.
Definitely going back.

Great Indian food with authentic tastes, it’s like a gem in Chilliwack. Glad we went back after 6 years.

Six of us sat for a party and ordered a great blend of flavors and veg/meat dishes. All were good! Their Nan bread was hot and delicious and the water cold and refreshing! I ordered a prawn tandoori that was perfect! Will definately be back or will order out and hit a Netflix evening! We'll done Shandhar Hut!

Sorry but the food service was pathetic and so was the taste of the food. I was highly disappointed that the server was not there we had spent 5 minutes calling her and she was all confused. We read the reviews and stopped here but it was a pathetic experience.

Previously had a poor experience. However; the person who I had the interaction with just offered me a sincere and genuine apology and explained the situation. I fully accept and will give the restaurant another try. I really appreciate how above and beyond he went to rectify the situation, and I am looking forward to frequenting this business again in the near future. Thank you!:).

Coming back here after 2 years. The quality of service has down significantly due to a combination of lack of kitchen staff and unorganized wait staff. Long wait time to clear off tables when guests are waiting. Menus were given promptly after seating but then order is not taken for 20 mins. Kitchen seemed to be backed up with online orders as it took another 30 mins for first dish to come. Another 25 mins before main course and they brought the wrong item and missed one completely.
Turned into a 3 hour meal with mostly waiting for service.

Waited for long time to have my food on my table. Staff was friendly just need more staff specially servers.

I have been coming here for well over a decade. I am frequently trying new dishes and am consistently blown away by the taste and quality in the food. I'm no expert on Indian food, but from the many places I've been to throughout the Lower Mainland, this is easily my favourite spot.

It is easy to bring people here to pop their Indian food cherry, as the butter chicken is such a delightful gateway dish. The take out is worthwhile even if you have a drive of over 30 minutes, the food will still be hot and delicious.

Ordered for pickup at 7: 30 and were told 35 minutes, showed up a few minutes later than that knowing we’re always kept waiting, hoping it would be ready when we got there given the extra time time, but no. My partner didn’t return to the car with the food until around 8: 40, while I entertained a hungry and frustrated toddler who was now also past his bedtime. And on a weekday evening too- it’s too much and it’s every single time.

Utterly outstanding Indian cuisine. I lived in Surrey years and ate at alot of Indian places- this one stands above them all. Must try this place if you are in the area.
