Shannon Motors is Amazing. They used to take care of my business vehicles (no longer in service), and have taken care of all our personal vehicles! Honest, Trustworthy, professional and a great bunch of human beings, always the tr e when there's an emergency! I recommend Shannon Motors Highly.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, this guy has ripped off so many people! Anyone I've spoke to that has dealt with them have said stay FAR AWAY! He pressures people, talks down to women, was caught lying by 3 mechanic shops and the VSA.

He sold my friend a truck for what we found out later was about $4,000 over value and significantly more then that once it was inspected. The very next day a mechanic looked at the truck and the rear differential needed to be completely replaced, three different dealerships confirmed the diff needing replacing and that there was ZERO way they didn't know, PLUS the rear brakes were metal on metal (DANGEROUS), the inspection had so many things check as good but were very much not! The bill was around $4,000 and she keeps having stuff go wrong with the truck including dying on the highway!

He refused to do anything for her or refund any money, he didn't even offer to fix anything for his cost, he wouldn't even acknowledge the faults even after statements from the mechanics.

This guys is scummy and his dealership should be shut down! After further inspection the VSA has many complaints against this dealership.

The salesman was very rude and extremely unhelpful. I won't ever shop here for a used vehicle again.

Sold me a lemon! I bought a 2010 Honda Odyssey and 6 weeks later the engine misfires. Turns out the local Honda Dealership had previously recommended $5k of engine work on the vehicle to keep it running which the work was never preformed. When I complained I was told that due to my attitude I wouldn't be getting any help from them. Super awesome customer service! NOT! Upon pulling a single spark plug the engine repairs were very clear. The vehicle is throwing codes and the oil level is extremely low which indicates and internal engine oil leak as the level was ok when we checked when we bought it. There is also no oil leak evident below the vehicle when parked. Not to mention that upon receiving said vehicle I was promised it would be cleaned and it never was. There was even a used bandaid in there. SO GROSS. Lots of promises were made and all were broken. Now my family and I are stuck without a vehicle.

Before and after purchasing my vehicle from Shannon Motors I read these glowing reviews. With sadness and discontent I write mine. I purchased a 2012 Kia Sportage for over $12,000 in September of 2020. After only 2 weeks of gentle driving to work, the engine in the vehicle blew and the vehicle was deemed undrivable and unfixable. (Other than a quote from Steve at Shannon motors for over $18,000 to fix the vehicle for me). After months of back and forth and with some outside assistance I have learned there is nothing Shannon Motors will or can do for me. I will never claim that Shannon Motors knowingly sold me a faulty vehicle and I also waived the extended warranty. But I do claim he should stand by the product he is selling (for at least 30 days) and have offered me compensation of some sort. That did not happen what so ever. The fact that he was not willing to even try to come to some sort of agreement with me, contradicts the other reviews I have read. I write this only to warn others that there is another side to this business and please beware. Shop elsewhere. There are many small local car dealers with better practices and it is with much regret I did not purchase from one of them.

A+! Caring, professional, and honest folks! I was visiting Parksville on a Saturday afternoon when I heard unhappy noises from one of my rear brakes and called Shannon Motors, one of the few places who do service on a Saturday in the area. Not only did Jess immediately dig in and see if she could get parts right away but she even found it was a known problem with my vehicle. All this took 5 minutes and 2 hours later I drove away with a safe vehicle and guidance on what to watch for and do proactively for this brake issue. Wow! Thank you Jess and the team at Shannon Motors for being AWESOME!

Awesome place, my truck blew a gasket while i was in parksville (from victoria) for my anniversy and they fit us in last minute even though they were busy, super friendly staff and quick to diagnos the problem

Had the starter go on my car, Jess was super friendly and helpful at the front desk. It was also my first time having Shannon Motors do a repairs on my car. I told Jess I wanted a quote of the estimated cost to repair, before any work is done. Jess got back to me promptly with an estimate, and the repairs were done within the next day. The final bill came in at what they quoted me, they didn't try to hose me at the last minute like some places I have dealt with in the past. When I picked up the car, I was blown away that they also vacuumed it for me too. I was really impressed. A big thank you to Shannon Motors, Jess, and the mechanic in the garage that did the repairs. The new starter is working awesome, no more problems. I like it!:) I will be bringing all my future repairs to Shannon Motors.

Thank you, Shannon Motors in Parksville. I dropped off my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee yesterday afternoon and came back four hours later to pick it up. I had left it there to get “detailed”. I always thought detailed was a wash and vacuum of the interior. When I came back to pick up my car it was immediately apparent that more than I had expected had been done. The car was glistening in the dim winter light. The headlights had been polished along with the grill and the exterior was spotless, the interior had been vacuumed and the entire interior had been wiped down. In short the car looks better than the day I purchased it. Thank you.
