Drinks and food tasted very off compared to other sharetea locations. Do not recommend this location.

Worst sharetea location. Once you take an order from customer, finish it then start taking new order. I ordered my drinks and saw you guy kept taking new orders while mine wasn’t even done yet.

After long time, I want to give another try to see if they’re better but nope, even worse. The sign is open until 10pm but they said the last call at 9: 45, we came at 9: 40 and still said it’s closed.
If anyone wanna try Sharetea, avoid this location at all cost.

The girl at the front was very petty when we ordered our drinks, and never even called out our drinks when they finished making it, they just put them on pick up section and didn’t tell us which one was which. We asked for ice water and the guy let out a big sigh when making the water for us.

Sometimes a long wait, they often do not have enough staff for online orders when there are customers in store.
But the drinks are very good so, if you have time to wait, and the staff are pleasant.

Sometimes-a young worker will give a lame excuse-like-"we are sold out of every flavour, and topping. ", at 930-940pm. He is often rude to customers, he has no customer service skills, worked 21st of June, 2023, and told 7 people and me this.

I have been coming here for years, I live close by-AND-this location has Never been Sold Out, of EVERYTHING. It seemed an obvious lie, as there were customers at tables with drinks and he was just finished making a drink with kiwi and ayuj jelly!

Quality of drinks have unfortunately gone downhill over time. Taro slush was more slush than taro.

Nice seating though.

The worst of the worst customer service and the boba is hard and tea tasted like blended milk.
We got 4 drinks, 3 Okinawa milk tea, one without pearls, the server gave us 1 with pears and rest was just blended milk.
Both workers shift the blame on us that we did not specify clearly, which we definitely did.
So the Terry is the server, called the manager for an advice.
When we trying to talk to Terry, the server he just ignore us and murmur said something in Chinese, and had a bad gesture of facing his back to us.

He also asked if his manager can come to the store for his mistake, and one of our friends hear him cursing in Chinese and he understood.

Worst service, worse tea and the worst quality.
We all had very bad stomachache after. It’s disgusting.

If this happens to any of your guys. Thumbs up on my comment and I am sure this doesn’t happened just today.

Hear me out and don’t ever go to this location. You will have your beautiful day ruined and it not worth it.

The staff Terri is under trained, told us shut up and he doesn’t want to talk to us.

We ordered 4 drinks requested one with no pearls, they gave us only one with pearls, when I said they did a mistake on the order, Terri said he will charge us for the pearl, it’s not their fault, then he proceed to call his manager at 10: 30pm to ask what he should do, I found it ridiculous.

Then after hanging up, he was talking bad things in mandarin with another staff, I understood what Terri was saying, told him to stop and fix their mistakes.

Terri couldn’t think outside of a box, told us he will get fired if he didn’t charge us for pearls, man I have no words to say.

Guys if you were to spend $8 on boba, go somewhere else, this share tea location is def not worth it, we will tell everyone we know not to go there.

If anyone wants to see video, lmk I have recordings of terri telling us he doesn’t want to talk to us.

Very cozy bubble tea cafe with lots of table and seating. The baristas are friendly, and the drinks are good.

Worker did not know how to use the reward program so I had to wait for another worker. Took about 5+ mins before the other worker was free and then I'm told the drink I ordered cost more and isn't covered, even though I have redeemed this exact same drink before with the share tea rewards. They need to be more clear about the rules with their reward system and constancy with what is eligible.

Used to love this location because it's spacious and stylish. But the service is so poor and unfriendly and this location in particular has gotten so stingy. Will go to other joints or sharetea locations.

Only gripe I have about this place is that all the markers for the public whiteboard are dried out: (

- Everything is at least good. Meaning you can have a favorite, but not really a least favorite.
- Staff is superb and friendly.
- Accommodating with custom requests and corrections.
- Clean location. Spacious yet cozy.

Cons:
- Can sometimes get your order wrong.
- Parking is not very great in the area.

Good bubble tea and a nice place to work on things. They often seem overwhelmed and unable to get drinks out in a timely manner. Other than that no complaints!

It's been weeks and this place still doesn't have toilet paper in it's washroom. They expect you to use napkins that had hair all over it. The washrooms are never cleaned, it's disgusting.

We've been to this location multiple times before and we always get the same drinks. After paying for the drinks, I stepped aside and realized my partner's drink was already done. Because it wasn't busy, I just stood there watching, interested in how they were making my drink. Let me tell you, it was not being made well from what I could see. The young lady making my drink was constantly stirring the pale looking liquid in the drink shaker, I presume the liquid was the tea base. She kept reaching for the steel drum containing tea or water, filling the shaker with more liquid? I think as I briefly looked away, she filled the shaker with some more water again? Then she filled a small container with what looks like molasses, something dark, assuming it is either going to make the tea base darker and/or sweeter? If the reason was to make tea darker, I can assure you it didn't make a difference because my tea looked pale beige. I am watching this young lady stirring, diluting, stirring some more, add 'molasses', add ice, shake the liquid, pour liquid into the plastic cup, seal it and done. All this while the cashier who took my order, was standing next to her. Both of their backs turned away from the front counter but I can still clearly see how my drink was being handled. I didn’t understand how the cashier was helping. Not to be too harsh but the two of them seemed like those cartoon characters that are up to no good skulking around dark corners. At least that is how it felt to me. I would note that the cashier was not friendly at all. When I walked in cheery and said, hello how are you, it was met with a blank stare from him. I normally have zero expectation to be greeted with excellent customer service, so this blank stare from said Sharetea cashier, didn't bother me in the way it may bother others. However, it is too bad that we can't expect good service anymore. Anyway, I normally would be a bit cheeky when someone is unfriendly, by asking the question again and again, "how are you", until I finally get an answer, lol. But today, I was in a hurry so I didn't want to play around too much and just placed my order.

I walked back to the car with the drinks, feeling uneasy. By watching my drink being made, it did not invoke confidence that the pale looking drinks I had in my hands would taste good. I was shaking my drink to distribute all the pearls and the liquid leaked out. I didn’t want to fuss by going back in to get that fixed, so I cleaned up the spill and took a sip of my drink and it was meh meh bleh. Just watery. A hint of tea taste/aroma, but really just similar to drinking straight up sugared water. My partner offered a taste of the other drink and it was no better. Eww. I sat there telling my partner about the experience, who suggested we just ask for new ones made. LOL, so innocent. I replied with, "sadly this is not Starbucks, these people here will soon enough blame us for how bad their drinks tasted, rather than admit something isn't right, then go and make it right for us. Let’s just go”. So we left. Just got home and wanted to get this off my chest. It's my last time coming here. Is tea base that expensive? To the point where it has to be diluted so much that it taste like water? It’s sad because we've been here a handful of times so we had high hopes they will keep consistently making our faves just right. We don't live close to Richmond Sharetea, which is our preferred location. So far for the last 4 years, the Richmond location has not once messed up our drinks and we have had a few different staff member make them. It's never tasted watery. I do expect that one day they might mess up because no one is perfect and no company is perfect, although I hope not, fingers crossed.

I personally think it’s hard to screw up bubble tea other than the cook on the pearls. Qualify your staff, hopefully they're not your family-friends, just keep the good ones and let the bad ones go because they don't care about customers, hygiene and quality of their work. They have ruined your company and will continue to do so.

It was alright the place is new but doesn't have a cozy feeling to it. The staff are polite.

Just came in to order taro slush 5 minutes ago. After getting the drink I asked if it's taro, told yes. It looked too watery but I guess they said yes twice. Turns out it's fresh taro and not slush. I dislike milk taro and don't drink it. Waste of 2 drinks

I asked for black tea creama, they gave me green tea. They added water in the fresh milk with black pearl, pudding, jello. The woman didn't seal the lid probably and has to be resealed and kept wiping my drink with that not so clean cloth.

Went here this past weekend and waited 25 minutes for my order. I had lined up and ordered in person. Paid for my drinks at 10: 13 pm and didn’t get my order till 10: 40. It was busy so I didn’t ask about my order till 15 min went by and I noticed people after me had gotten their drinks. When I asked they said 3 more min. Then I noticed no line up and they had started rinsing the blenders and still weren’t making my order. I asked again and they realized they didn’t have my order slip at all. So I told them my order and they still messed up one of my drinks. I said I don’t want the drinks anymore but they refused to give me a refund. Took another 7 min to make my second drink. All I got was a $2 refund for the tip I had given. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. If its too busy to keep up with the orders they shouldn’t have continued taking orders and people’s money.

Bad service, only one order I don’t know why still need to wait for 10 mins. At that time, only me one customer, don’t have any other customer. I think you guys have to improve this problem, no body wants to waste time for one drink!

It wasn't good. The guy was flustered at the cash and I don't think he meant to mess it up. He was nice but the drink cost almost $7 and I tipped him $1. Waited for the drink for 20 mins and he had only 1 drink before mine. Wish I bought food instead.

My favourite bubble tea chain. Their pearls are consistent and their teas are better than Chatime, Yifang, and Coco.

My main gripe with this place is the service is not consistent. Sometimes I have to wait 30 mins for one drink, and this is not a one time event. Like 60-70% of the time when I come here, I have to wait at least 15-20 minutes for my drinks. The girls that work here are sweet and know what their doing.the guys though. I have never received good service when the guys are working. And the guys usually get my order wrong too. That’s why I order in store.because at least they can fix it vs.ordering on delivery app.too many times they’ve gotten my order wrong and I just have to deal with whatever I get.

We have been ordering here for a while because we like their drinks. But today very disappointing. After ordering online they told us to come by after 20 mins because today it's Friday and I'm like ok they are probably busy. Went to pick up drink after 25 mins and stood there while two costumer just ordered their drinks and they even went out before my drink was done. So after 2 mins I said pick up online.after checking computer she realized that they completely forgot my order.so she told me another 5 mins and she was apologetic after making this drink. So after ordering online got a drink after all in 35 mins and all I got was a sorry and not even a free drink.

The staff told me to come into the store when I called to order half hour before closing because there was apparently a "long line up". I asked if they'd still be accepting orders if I came in 5mins, again, they said there's a long line up. When I got there 5 mins later, the place was empty and they told me they were out of pearls. They could've told me over the phone.

Always come here for Sharetea when I am in Richmond as the other location by Richmond Centre is garbage. This place rarely disappoints and my drinks are made to the standard, not watered down. Decor and feeling in this place is comforting.

My go to BBT place around town. Nice variety of all kinds of teas. Would highly recommend a fruit tea or a creama. My mouth is watering at the thought.

Passionate fruit with grapefruit juice is super refreshing. I'd get it half sweet as most bbt places are crazy sweet these days but their products are on point and more flavorful than just sugarwater. Good quality and normal pricing.

Bad service on all locations! Especially the location on Capstan way, Richmond. I was the only costumer who was ordering and the girl working didn't even realize I was there until she turned around. After I ordered, both girls working was on their phone. They didn't make my order until I walked back towards them and saw me standing by the counter.

If you want bubble tea, NEVER go here. I've been to different locations a few times and the service is always HORRIBLE! I will never go back here or any of the locations. It is definitely not worth it.

I like the place a lot. There was one time I tried to order a bubble tea at 1 ish and they said I need to wait til 3 o'clock because they don't have the pearl ready. Ever since then I go after 3.

I’m not a huge bubble tea fan and don’t have it often but the fresh taro was decent. Service was a bit slow even though it wasn’t very busy. The back seating area is super cute!

Its my first time to try this bubble tea place. After I ordered their passion fruit tea and their QQ milk tea with pearl in my very honest opinion I am very disappointed in this place. It really doesn’t tasted that good. The fruit tea tasted like its extract juice not made from scratch and just place a lemon in the drink. The milk tea tasted very watery maybe the ratio is not right? I probably wont come back: (I only can say this is a good space to relax and chat with friends because they have bigger space and more seating area.

Service is slow.drinks way to sweet even when you ask for half sweetened.would not go for food cause if I have to wait 20 min for a bubble tea just think of the food

It was okay. Long line, but it went by fast. Love how they had a whole Christmas tent set up in the back, but I also noticed they had decor for every season handing all around the walls. Found it hilarious, but nonetheless, bubble tea was good. Nothing was over steeped or over cooked. It was just right.

Went in at 12: 00noon employee told us to leave because they weren’t open till 12: 00. We waited outside for ten minutes in the rain and went elsewere terrible first impression of this place.

Decent, avoid the slushes as they end up like pulverized tasteless ice after the first 20 sips. Rest of the menu is mediocre and the tea is pretty good.

Have come here to study a few times since they opened. The location is not that far from Patterson station and one bus ride away from Metro. Each time I've gone, there has been tables available for my friends and I to study. Recommend getting the milk tea slush with pearls.

Ordered the kiwi fruit tea with Aiyu jelly. Horrible, ended up with 1/4 cup of lemon seeds at the bottom for some reason. Called them and they did not understand. Every sip I took, I was spitting seeds out.

The taste of their drinks are very good but unfortunately one of their staff gave me attitude when I ordered drinks. He first confused the drink I ordered then corrected me the name of the drinks twice like I’m an idiot (language barrier?) When I asked him scan my phone for points right after I paid he first pretending didn’t see my phone and then said “it’s too late” with very inpatient tone. His coworker then came and helped me while he was still pretending he couldn’t hear my inquiries. Will go back to this place but the manager should couch their staff more.

Really nice atmosphere with wooden tables. Friendly staff that is happy to customize drinks. Pretty good drinks, had a mango slush with vanilla ice cream and it get a thumbs up. We mainly come becauae of the nice seating here. We will be back for sure.

Standard fare bubble tea. Their pearls are smaller and chewier than the likes of other bubble tea franchises but that quality is reflected in the price. $6-$7 for a drink but you get what you pay for.

I've been here twice at the end of 2018. I tried the Oolong Tea Creama and the Mango Passionfruit Green Tea. Both were flavourful: Creama was dense and creamy, and had enough Oolong flavour and the Manfo Passionfruit was slightly too sweet at 50% sugar and less ice but ut was still very refreshing. These two items are both at the top 10 popular drinks in their menu (as per the board in the store).

Bubble tea competition is heating up in the neighborhood and this place I would say is one of the better ones. Sharetea is part of a worldwide chain, it's nice, spacious and clean. Lots of options, though would be great to have a few more fresh juice slushes. The addition of pearls isn't automatic, you might have to request them. Price wise, it's a little on the more expensive side. Extra for the available parking on the side of the building

Drink (tea) taste not bad. Employees are nice, friendly, and helpful. However, serve speed is super slow. Waiting time (order) is long. Credit cards accepted. Price is high. Dinning tables and chairs available. Waiting area with chairs provided. Free parking lot (plaza) in the front. Live music provided.

Their tea is fresh and sophisticated, but the service is very slow. I have been here 3 times and I have seen them making mistakes on drinks twice.

Nice big place since it opened up last year. Very good place to study or catch up with people. Parking is difficult. Drinks are above average. Had the Hokkaido milk tea with pudding.

Another bubble tea joint. However this one has some very unique options and flavors. This location has great seating for hanging out or just somewhere to browse and hang out for awhile. Nice atmosphere and very well decorated.

Tried the tiger milk tea, the pearls were good but the drink overall was nothing special. I brought in a mason jar and asked if i could use it instead of serving my drink in a plastic cup and the cashier couldn't explain why they can't do that. She offered to serve it into a plastic cup and I can pour it into my own cup after if I want to, which would defeat the purpose of why I went through the effort of bringing my own cup. After a lot of hesitation and discussion with her coworker, she eventually agreed to pour the drink into my cup, though I think she was still confused by my request. I probably won't visit again anytime soon since I'd prefer to use my own cup to reduce plastic waste, plus the drink wasn't spectacular.

Out of the bbt places around our area, this is our go to. Choices are endless, they have a points system, and they have fast service. Tons of places to sit.

Sharetea is new and bustling on Kingsway, expect a possible line up. Menu ranges from fruit tea, milk tea and slush with many toppings. Service is a bit slower than most places but worth the wait. Toppings were generous and at the time of my visit they offered free twist jelly. Overall I recommend Sharetea as another good place for bubble tea in the area.

One of my top three bubble tea place to go too. It's nice that we always are able to find seats at this location. Love the Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea at less sweet and less ice with ice cream (it makes it creamy)

My favorite bubble tea spot ATM. Love their Hokkaido pearl milk tea with less sugar and less ice. Great place for a late night to chill with friends.

I've leaving 2 stars because of the horrible customer service I received during my visit with family.

We got an Oolong Tea Creama, a Red bean TorDa, and a hot Ginger Tea. The drinks were great (I absolutely loved the Oolang Tea Creama) and we thought the TorDa was rather interesting. The customer service on the other hand, was outrageously horrible.

We went on a early Friday afternoon, not many customers in the store, and there were 2 Asian girls behind the counter. Both were laughing, sneering and whispering to each other while we decided what we were going to order - no hello, no greeting whatsoever. When we were ready to order, the taller Asian girl took our order and she was fine conversing in English up until I told her I'd also like a cup of hot water as well, and I don't mind if I have to pay for it. She looked at me like I was speaking in Alien or something, because she turned around to the shorter girl and asked her in Mandarin if it was ok to give me hot water. The shorter girl said "ok", and they started making our order. 15 mins later, we got our drinks and TorDa, but no hot water. I went and asked her again if I could get a cup of hot water, and I would be willing to pay for it. She acknowledged me, and told me that she'd bring it over momentarily. Another 10 mins passed, and still nothing. They had hot water, and not busy with another customer, but they somehow didn't want to give it to me. I had to ask them a third time in a rather upset tone to finally get that cup of hot water. There wasn't a language barrier, I just don't know why they took so long, and they didn't even bother apologizing or explaining the reason why I had to wait 25 mins for that water. I hope they improve their customer service, or else I will not be coming back to this location.
