I am a low income senior raising grandkids. Ive had Shaw services for over 20 years w/o ever missing a payment. 3 days ago my devices were cut off with no email notice or phone call. I asked shaw 2 weeks ago if my account was ok as my husband died and I didn't know if I was behind. I was told everything was fine.yesterday Roberto informed me that I had to pay 300.00 to get my account reactivated. I am outraged and insulted. Today I'm paying the 300.00 and switching to Telus.

Be very careful with porting your number to shaw mobile. They seem to lost my original number. Its been a week now my number is not back yet.
Been porting back and fort to different mobile company until today with shaw mobile. Horrible experience! Don't go to guildford mall shaw kiosk!

Major Disconnect between the representatives on the phone and the personnel in stores. After coming to agreement over the phone and being asked to go into the store to finalize (as they apparently cannot do this over the phone) the store could not abide by agreement on phone. Called Shaw mobile to confirm; they sent me to sales (who said it was a billing issue) who sent me to billing, (who said it was a billing issue) who eventually said it was a store issue, who said it was a Shaw Mobile issue.

Terrible overall experience. I'm a student so i need to put up with the cheaper plans for the time being, but cant wait to get back to Rogers; well worth the cost for the customer service.

Saying that; Shaw internet has been nothing short of amazing for customer service.

Shaw has the WORST coverage. Do not waste your money. I experienced constant dropped calls, missed calls, missed texts and no service. I had to change to a different carrier after one month. Shaw refused to return my connection fee and I had to pay another connection fee to switch to a new carrier.

I set up internet with Raman he was knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Also when come in to pay my bill for each month, it's quick with him.

Have Shaw 300 internet which is good and have Shaw mobile for last year now and the mobile is by far the worst I loose reception all the time had way better coverage with freedom mobile and the other cheap one. Wouldn’t recommend Shaw mobile to anyone u can pay the same or cheaper at other places and get way better coverage

It was an excellent experience. One of the the staff named Tony, a pleasant gentleman, simplified to us what we thought was complicated. Concise and straight forward. We were thinking of trying to switch to a lucrative deal from a different provider after our contract but end up extending another contract with Shaw. Tony simplified our options and handles customer service like a pro.

My brother pre ordered an iPhone at this location and the employee who processed this pre-order, named Micheal C, told him I could go in his place to pick up the phone as long as I brought the receipt and my brothers ID. So, I went to do exactly that when the phone came in stock, and I was told by the employees that I could not pick up the phone on my brothers behalf. I'm a very busy person and I wasted an hour of my time because of Micheal C being an incompetent employee. Clearly, he needs to be re-trained or fired as it is unacceptable to spread lies and false information to customers! This location needs to seriously reconsider who they hire and how they are training their staff since most people value their time unlike Micheal C who loves to waste time be an exceptionally incompetent employee.

Went there to join shaw phone, signed up the new ip12 with them and got noticed that the phone will arrive in 1-2 weeks. After 2 weeks noone call me then I called the customer service to ask about it, and got yelled by their customer service that I must go to the office they cant deal with this via phone. I went to the office, line up, and got an answer of waiting for 2-3 weeks. The girl even not looking at my receipt. I told them, this wasnt what they said when i signed up and it’s not ok to ask me waiting, I want to know how long I have to wait and she said: she doesnt know! The girl attitude was like: I have to wait, take it or leave it! I can wait if I have a proper explanation with friendly service not being yelled and Receive bad attitude like this. Dont sign the new iPhone deal with them unless they have it on hand. Or you will have to wait.forever! So disappointed!

They took the sim card from my old provider and tossed it. My number was supposed to be ported, but it didn't happen and I couldn't verify because they tossed my old sim. I had to go back to the store and have them go through the trash to get my old sim card back. The product they offer for the price is good though. 45 for 25Gb of data can't be beat by other cell providers.

When calling customer service they frequently just pick up and hang up. Cancelled my service and they are doing everything they can to not issue a refund.

Tried the new Shaw Mobile $45 plan however I missed a lot of calls from friends and work. Phone never seems to be connected to mobile network unless I use it near a window. Coverage is not that great. Went to store to return equipment and waited a long time as staff seemed more interested in selling and talking with each other.

A year ago, selling a high tech product/service would have been just ridiculous. Today, in the age of COVID-19, to ask your existing, loyal customers to go to the mall and line up for hours in unsafe conditions, and risk their health and life.is CRIMINAL.
Shame on you Shaw Mobile.

Went in to join Shaw mobile.

Was disappointed to see the employees not following precautions properly. Disappointed that management is not providing a safe work environment for their employees. There were several employees who did not have plexi glasses installed in their work station. With customers just across the counter from them (no mask).

The one who helped me had an unopened bottle of sanitizer. He hesitated when I asked him to please sanitize his hands before handling my ID and credit card.

Was in line for 30+ mins, no sight of employees disinfecting high touch surfaces. Customers are set up to be helped way too close to others, they cannot physically distance and are not being required to wear masks upon entry.

As for actual service, I expected thorough explanation of their new Mobile Services (as you are required to go in store to join), but was not told the different/additional charges. Customers deserve access to these services online if they are not going to be thorough so they have the option to keep safe from others.

FYI not posted up front to customers (online or in store) : mobile services go up around $15-40 a month for the plans if you cancel your other services with Shaw.

Had a great experience here! The Assistant Store Manager, Francisco (VD98), was super awesome! He made our trip super expedient. Francisco was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and funny!

My problems with Shaw started years ago, the only reason I went with them is that Telus high speed wasn't available. I would avoid Shaw at all costs. The staff at this location lied about how the connection of their pods systems works - you will not see high speed connection through the pods. I was told directly "You'll see the same speeds through the pods as through the router". That's why I got the pods. Recently I've learned that was a lie, but there was no effort made whatsoever to remedy this - instead the attitude was "oh ya the salesperson was wrong". The internet has been inconsistent at best - on internet 600, it's more common to see download speeds around 200-300 (right beside the router). More than 20 feet away from it, you'll see speeds between 30 and 60 mbps.and that's when it's working. Often I'm seeing speeds drops down to 1 to 4 mbps. It's incredibly frustrating, and the actions that have been taken to solve this are lackluster at best. Choose Telus, or any other option if you can.

First time I was at the store and the customer service when applying for a new mobile line (Tony) was beyond excellent. Everything explained clearly, fast and straightforward. All my questions were answered. I would totally recommend to anyone to go there.

Awful service. I called in many times because I'm barely receiving the internet I'm paying for. All they do is reboot which does nothing. I started working from home because my workplace shut down, and lost many hours and many shifts because of this awful service. The least they could do is send more internet to make up for the money I lost or offer free service for at least a month, but nope. I'm going to switch to Telus, I'm sure they have better costumer service because they couldn't possibly be any worse than this.

Outrageously bad pricing and some of the worst customer service I've dealt with. They disconnected my internet when they were supposed to upgrade, and they refuse to talk to me or fix it because I'm an AEBC customer while working from home during COVID.

I lost connection to wifi 10 times within the week I got Shaw BlueCurve. If this is at their best, then honestly it's really disappointing.

Wow! Needed to exchange 3 old remotes. Planned to spend an hour waiting based on reviews. I was in and out in 5 minutes! Plus they came with batteries! My awesome day!

The shaw retail store in Guildford Town Centre I go in there to pay my bill on a regular basis I find it very fast and efficient great staff willing to go above and beyond the Call of Duty the only problem is they're automatic billing machine does not like the new polymer bills that's the only downfall now they've implemented a number system to speed up the flow of customers keep up the great work

The worst customer service ever I’m not recommending Shaw cable for ANYONE! Wen you get service for the first time the representative are so nice and after they charging you more and more my bill for the internet were supposed to come 80$ every month but after 3 months it stared to come 200$ that’s a ripoff! I did not sign for that! Now past 3 days I’ve been trying to cancel my service with them but they refusing to cancel it customer service on the phone keep putting me on hold for 3 hours then they hang up! I went to surrey to there office and they told me they can’t do anything they can’t cancel my service I have to call they’re loyalty support WTH! I’ve been trying calling them they just passing phones to each other and at the end they hang up! I’m gonna trow they’re modem in to garbage and I won’t pay for any bill i will take it to court! Not recommending them at all!

Terrible service. 2 tech appts missed. No ownership by call center, when complained phone disconnected and no call back. Funny they call themselves phone service providers.

Finally made arrangements to pick up the equipment from their store and turns out to be 75 min wait. What to do!

Been with them for 19 years, time to move.

I went to pick up blue curve modem and all these csr were standing and talking and they give me a token to wait for 30 second job.its ok if people buy phone or service.why they want me to wait 30min for picking up modem that took 30 sec for CSR to give? Shaw needs to fire the people who work there immediately. They need to have csr only for pickup. I mean the guy give token standing there doing nothing. I cant believe we allow lazy people to have job.

If you are looking for internet at a good price and no contract then this is the place to go. We had Telus before and honestly it was trash always cutting in and out we was able to use the wifi maybe 3 hours out of every day! Shaw has the best internet hands down.

Cancel my contract early because it kept having internet issues. Shaw technician too lazy to change my modem after three service calls asking them to change the modem
