The chicken was good, you can tell they make it on the spot per customer. I like the Asian spice they use.

The fried chicken is very crispy and tender, and the most important thing is that it has big chunks of chicken skin! The French fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The seasoning is just right and the portion is plenty!

When dining in, I had a friendly boss blowing water on me. When the sun was shining brightly, the clerk carefully helped me lower the curtains. It was so attentive. Thank you

But I won’t be able to come in the short term because I’m so fat Maybe I’ll come back next week! I wish you a long and prosperous life:)

Love the deep fried chicken, good price for quality food, friendly cashier, and clean washroom.

Honestly pretty good food. Our 2-piece combo was prepared on the spot. Everything was fresh and hot when served. There is a unique aroma in the chicken. Maybe some Asian spice? Quite satisfying! The combo came with canned pop and some fries. Two combos cost us $27.20 after tax. I'd say it's a fair deal in this environment.

The place was kept so clean by the way. Good sign the staff/owner cares:)

Tasty! Reg. And Spicy my favorite. Fresh, Juicy and crispy skin. Perfect flavoring. Not salty or oily. Love it.

The taste is Chinese, the spicy ones are very fragrant and flavourful, the non-spicy ones are salty and not bland at all, the seasoning is just right, the set portion is just right for a normal eater

No fuss spot with perfectly seasoned and juicy fried chicken and amazing service!

The original chicken was seasoned with I think some Chinese five spice along with other spices that gave off an incredible aroma on the ride home. The chicken was still crunchy, warm and juicy by the time we got to eating it.

The owners were incredibly friendly and offered us a plum juice with our meal and even insisted we try their spicy chicken, which we did.

Must try!

Great chicken! Didn’t made a photo cuz it disappeared faster than I realized.
The chicken thighs tasted really fresh and the oil they used to fry was obviously clean, it was really golden color and crispy.
Will definitely order more!

This is going to be a brutally honest and unbiased review. Shawn's Chicken was extremely underwhelming.

It does a couple of things right, such as how crispy and how juicy their fried chicken comes out. I imagine it's one of those meals that arrive super crispy even if you get it delivered far away. The prices were also fair and the staff were friendly enough.

However, it was incredibly lackluster in seasoning and its sides. Its fries were lacking flavor and were super boring.

The chicken does not have enough flavor for it to be compared to LA Chicken (and whoever reviewed this place before me and said that this was superior to LA Chicken is very much in the wrong IMO), or even the likes of Chirpyhut.

This place is basically an inferior version to Chirpyhut, which is a shame because it looked amazing on social media (and reviews).

I will not be making a return, but godspeed to the restaurant.

I think this is the best fried chicken in Metro Vancouver. The skin is crispy, the chicken feels fresh, rich and juicy, especially not greasy at all. People like me who are trying to lose weight can’t help but eat 6 in a row.indivual! The spicy taste is very strong. It is said to be the boss's own unique recipe. Highly recommended! The service is also very friendly. I will check in every time I come to Richmond!

Ordered several times, and finally get the super combo set. Crispy and juicy. Way more better than LA. Love it!

We always wanted to try this place as we heard good reviews. Upon arrival, there was only a few people waiting outside for their take out.

We ordered a 4 piece family meal (spicy) with fries and lemondade soda. We waited roughly 5mins and the food came.

It was very fresh, hot, juicy and so munch better than Church's! Not as salty and more spicier. The fries were ok, it seems like Costco fries but was good. The drink was good and tasty.

Overall, it was great! We even got an extra piece! Super satisfying and will return.

This will be our favorite fries chicken spot!

They make the fried chicken fresh so we waited for about 10 mins. Definitely worth the wait! Their fried chicken is so juicy and flavourful! Definitely go for the spicy option

Chicken is on the oily side. Flavor is meh price is high. I think I will stick with Church's.

The store was already closed when I went there, but the boss reopened it and cooked it for me~ It was very spicy and fragrant, and there was a lot of juice.
