We are able to source all of our daily use solutions locally right here. The staff and warehouse staff are friendly, accomodating, and seeking to please as a commercial supplier. I'm glad to have this service so close to home.

They are all fabulous, they really do care about all your needs, they always go above and beyond. They will do everything in their power to get product to you at cheapest cost. That's 100 percent why they are the number one to everyone I know. John and owners are the best in Canada. I have been dealing with them for over 30 years and lived from Kamloops, through out BC and all the way to Midway by boarder, and I still get all deliveries from them. Truly honored to be part of their business. ️

I can't thank the lady working on paint desk enough for her help today (even with her beautifully manicured nails). I bought the wrong colour (too light for what I needed) and she was sooo helpful and I'm very happy with the outcome ️ We've also bought the flooring for our house thanks to Cliffs help and it looks fabulous! Keep up the epic service!

We live in the lower mainland, but I had to get some names of local contractors to provide a referral to a client. The contractor desk went above and beyond providing quick and thorough answers. They were friendly, accommodating and it was very clear why Shepherd's Home Hardware is so highly rated!

Had to grab some painting supplies for a reno we are doing for my daughter. Everybody in the store was super helpful, they even let us bring our doggo into the store and had treats for him. Everything was easy to find, and the gentleman in the paint department was really nice to my daughter, even let her push the button for the paint shaker, which seams to be the highlight of her day. Nice to support local and the pricing was as good or better then the big box stores.

Today I went in to shepards looking for what I'd need to mount my floating shelf. They quickly came to help me and we found nothing that they sold off hand. But the gentlemen sent me to nick the employee who had hand made my brackets and had sent me on my way with a smile on my face. Was great experience for not knowing a thing. Highly recommend shepards for any of that kind of shopping you'd need to do! Thank you shepards

Today there is an old lady wearing glasses, very rude, impolite, and disrespectful. I thought that even the gang boss would not treat his customers like this. We treat this place as a community business and frequent it, but now it makes people feel scared. It seems better to go to Vernon's hardware store, as their service is much better.

Shepherds is a local landmark. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The store has an incredible stock and the pricing is as good as you are going to get.

I can never find what I am looking for here. Some of the staff are excellent at assisting you.but others just sort of point you in a direction. In the fireplace dept I have never been able to acquire the items that are on sale.they always seem to be out of them. Ie fire starters

This is the best-stocked, cleanest, most well-organized hardware store I've ever been in. And the staff are knowledgeable and friendly too!

Seems like i really messed up the woodstove guys day by asking questions. Guess what, my money spends elsewhere.

Awesome small town store, competes well on most things with the larger city stores- and GREAT personable service- highly recommended. Thanks for all the great advice redoing our deck, from stain selection, hardware and specialty cut beams for the pergola and even framing advice from the design department - best little shop in the VALLEY!

Nice place to visit. Staff was friendly and I was able to get everything that I was looking for.

I have been through this hardware store dozens of times with my employer and seen him and other individuals get premium service. As soon as I try to interact with their contractor sales desk on my own however (I have tried eight separate times now) I am left waiting upwards of ten to fifteen minutes without any acknowledgement. Not even a "Hey, someone will be with you shortly". They don't seem to bother interacting with people they don't recognize as high rollers. Either way though I'm done trying. Dealing with these people has been absolute garbage.

The garden department apparently has different hours I wanted a little burlap but that department was closed early. Customer service says the lumber guy would go and get me a package.not a chance!

Ordered Siding and 2 Windows. Was told they would be in last Friday Aug 16/19? Nope, wasn’t in Friday. Was told something about our Siding (Friday Voicemail) and that the Order would be ready Tue Aug 20/19. Phoned in yesterday, was told they would get back to us? No return call, no order yet? Not impressed. Should of ordered from Home Depot, so much for supporting local business. The order was under Gerald William. ** appreciate Shepherds trying to fix the issues ** Aug 26/19 informed our Order is in Red Deer, will be this Thur maybe Friday? Patience, so much for we’ll have your Order this Friday, they didn’t say which Friday. Yes I know things “are out of our control, such as Ordering materials” I get that.
What was supposed be a week is now going on 2 weeks.

Your typical farm store that has everything, What a great place to visit, had a great experience at this place, I will definitely be back to enjoy the atmosphere and the opportunity to visit very friendly and knowledgeable people, very well lit and friendly atmosphere, loved the time spent here.
