Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel

Employees are on strike. No mention of that prior to checking in. No services available including shuttle. Dirty rooms. No cleaning. 7am wake up call to the sounds of semi trucks laying on the horn in support of the strike. They were paying for taxis but then stopped the morning I checked out of course. Manager said they were not allowed to pay anymore because it breached employees on strike contract: incentives for them not to return to work if they continued to pay taxis.

Shows where their values are if they’ve unlawfully hired scabs while their employees are outside striking for better wages and fair treatment. Disgusting

Service was great but due to labor dispute there was no food service or shuttle to the airport.but the hotel was more than willing to reimburse the taxi fair. I've stayed there. Many times always enjoy my stay

How is disrupting residents around the area useful to your protest? ! We didn’t do nothing to you.if you could use this energy every day for 12 hours to actually improve your life, you would already have found a better paying job. (:

Was there for a conference recently. Lots of parking in the above ground lot. It’s an older hotel, but well kept up for the most part.

The rooms are dated and they don't even have central light switches, and don't even provide toothpaste. On top of that the shower hot water doesn't work properly - almost no hot water for a shower.

The check-in service was pretty terrible. I arrived at almost 330AM from the airport just for a simple night of sleep before my next flight. The useless check-in staff puts me in the room on the first floor, closest to the foyer and restaurants. The noise woke me up before 9am.

The location is also bad. It's not close to the airport, AND it's nearly a 10min walk to the nearest metro (Skytrain) station (which is not very close if you have luggage).

It was a labor strike on the day we landed in Vancouver where our stay was shifted from Sheraton to nearby Mariaot. Room, stay was good with great complimentary breakfast!

Good location close to the airport. The hotel is pretty enormous! The room was spacious and bed comfortable. The A/C was pretty loud when it runs and seemed to struggle a bit to keep the temperature consistent which is probably not a huge deal for a lot of the year! Would stay again.

Wonderful property. It seems as if we were put in an older part of the hotel. We got out of the elevator and there was an "old" stench in the hall way. The room was spacious and clean. Great location. Walking distance to the train and amazing restaurants. Kind of hard to decide where to eat with so many options. 20 - 30 mins away from downtown Vancouver without traffic if driving. About less than 10 mins from Richmond Night Market. Plenty of parking available at the hotel for a fee. Restaurant on site and so is the coffee shop. Friendly staff.

Ate at the restaurant. My husband asked the desk clerk a question, her reply was to ask concierge.

This Sheraton is nicely located and was near shopping, restaurants, transportation, and more. The restaurant had good food plus the Starbucks on the main floor was a great plus. Their lounge didn't offer much, just snacks water and coffee but it was a quiet spot if you needed to do work.

Clean rooms. They felt very large!
Great staff members as soon as we pulled up the door man greeted us and helped with our bags. The lobby restaurant food was also perfect.
Nice way to end our vacation while waiting on our flight. Very close to airport and free shuttle running every 30 min.

I love this hotel it's fantastic with great beds patios and amazing staff. My only star off is because when I came one time my room had a small mess but they immediately gave me another room no questions asked.

Great for airport and Richmond, close to malls etc. Good staff, handy Starbucks, rooms are good size and bright. Water is hot, overall a comfy, efficient place to stay

Showing its age. Sliding door broke and can’t close fully. Great room service. Pool nice on a hot day and is a little oasis in the city. Room is clean, hallway carpet frayed in spots. Very close to emergency services and the hospital so can be very noisy as sound proofing is limited. Great location for shopping and eating out

I stay for one day but I observed things deeply. Room where I was staying good/ spacious. Service in restaurant was good. ANI I met is a good server in restaurant. About Front desk staff they were good too but one old lady at front desk was very rude in behaviour.doesn't have the courtesy. I missed my cab but she hardly bothered I ask her to call she told me don't you have the cell phone though I was coming from India. She was such a jerk can't express.

Nice clean rooms. Great restaurant inside, plus Starbucks for your coffee needs. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed overnight when my flight was delayed. Polite staff and the airport shuttle was quite convenient.
