Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel

Great location to walk the downtown area and Canada place. Lots to see in the area.
As a Bonvoy member with status, a complimentary breakfast was available as well as snacks throughout the day. We were on a high floor with a fantastic view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking is available ($45 Canadian per day) with in and out privileges.

Worst guys at the reception.do not stay in this hotel. The reception guys are very very rude for no reason at all.

We recently had a company event at the Sheraton Guildford and it went without any issues. Staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean, food was delicious, and the service levels in the entire hotel were some of the best I have had including the big luxury hotels. I highly recommend staying here.

Not a good service. Too many flies like 4 in the bathroom and more outside. I left early because of that.

The treatment was very bad because the security man told us not to sit in the lobby after 12 o'clock, but there were other people. Why is there a difference between people in this hotel? I thought I would have a wonderful experience, but I felt insulted.

While the property looks good and is maintained in good condition I keep facing recurrent issues with lack of good attitude of the front desk personnel in the Sheraton brand in particular across Canada.

In the hotel, he tells me that it is forbidden to sit after 12 o'clock in the lobby. I felt very embarrassed in front of people. When this thing kicked me out, it affected my mental health.

Clean, quiet and friendly. Great beds to sleep on. Great for back injuries. I'm able to lay on them and sleep on them with a lot of comfort

Very disappointing. Visited 2 guests staying there, we ordered “room service” which now involves having to go to the lobby to pick it up. For some reason, staff can’t bring a trolley to the door anymore. I don’t understand why? “Covid” is not a reasonable answer, there are restaurant servers delivering food to your table. Staff can’t deliver food to a closed door? The food was definitely overpriced for what you get. Sushi tasted like it was made elsewhere and they had it delivered and deep fried it. Based on the description, I was excited thinking there was mango in it but it’s just a mango “slaw” on the side. Butter chicken poutine was soggy and it was very hot like it was microwaved. The haddock was heavy and tasted like it came from the freezer the spring rolls were underwhelming. It’s a shame because I really used to like their menu, they had the best salt & pepper wings now they’ve been replaced by breaded chicken you can get at Church’s down the street for a more affordable price. Also, we were not given any plates, so we all pretty much had to eat with our forks and hands…. Apparently “Covid” is another reason we don’t get plates with our hot appies to share amongst people. If I go there again, I’ll probably order from Skip or Uber if I want anything.

A/C in the room was very loud, and sound insulation wasn’t good at all - was woken a few times during the night, despite wearing earplugs.
Massive underground garage with direct access to the hotel ($15 overnight parking).

Incredible experience at this hotel in Surrey, BC.
One of the best Sheratons we stayed in.
Especially during covid, the service was quite top notch. The views of the mountains was absolutely breathtaking from our room.

Nice modern and clean rooms. Being able to login to Netflix from the TV was nice for the kids. I enjoyed the take out breakfast as well.

The hotel failed to advise that they had no restaurants open. They only gave allowed you to phone in an order and then you had to go pick it up at the front desk. They absolutely wouldn't take cash.

The butternut squash ravioli was good but portion was small. The burger, kids spaghetti and wild mushroom bisque were not good.

Loved the stay at this Hotel! Kids had a great fun in the pool! The customer service at the front desk was mediocre though! They could do better!

Had a great stay. The staff were friendly, room was clean, the grab and go breakfast had good variety, and workout room was open too.

The staff is unfriendly. They need better training in conflict resolution. The security guard is on a power trip. After we abided by his requests he continued to harass us (I have video proof of this). They asked us to follow rules that we weren’t made aware of because the person at the front desk never showed us the form/got us to sign it.

Other reviewers have had the same experiences as I see.

The room fixtures were falling apart. The decor is old. There was a lightbulb missing. The tv remote didn’t work. The hot tub wasn’t even working. It’s hard for me to see how this is a 4 star hotel. It’s probably only for the name.

Their service is appalling.

This was the least relaxing stay-cation I’ve had. I should’ve bought my dog a bath instead of coming here. It would’ve been the same price. If that doesn’t say anything, I don’t know what will.

Staff were nice and accommodating, rooms were clean and well taken care of, exactly what you expect from a Sheraton.

Spoke to Jennifer about booking a wedding block. By far the sweetest and nicest person to deal with (I called a lot of places). She delivered what was asked and was very accommodating. Looking forward to my stay here (:

Pretty good. After first Vancouver heatwave, their service are getting much smoother than first one. "This time was third". But I put 4 stars. Because they raise their food price. It was pretty paired price. But now it's pricy.

Very nice updated hotel with friendly staff. The only negative part was no microwave and the hot tub was down! Otherwise, great hotel.

Clean quiet and deluxe hotel and rooms. Only two blocks from Tim Hortons so affordable breakfast is nearby.

Clean, spacious rooms. Professional and welcoming staff. Small touches to make you feel welcome. We had an excellent stay at the Guildford Sheraton.

The room is wonderful, no housekeeping but you can put garbage out in hallway and it gets picked up and if you need more towels or anything just have to ask. Breakfast is included and you have to pick and choose what you want from a limited amount of item's. The front desk and others had great customer service. I would definitely stay here again.

Tough to judge a place as most of the amenities were closed or not available, so it's just becomes a place to sleep.

Been treated better at every other Marriott or Sheraton I've been to in North America. It's Surrey BC so I guess that should be expected.

It was nice and clean.some services were not available due to covid precautions but it was nice otherwise.

The hotel staff, a lady, made up a lie at 4am to try to have me sign a document. She made false accusations against myself and my boyfriend. We are distraught from the whole thing. It was only this one staff member. She accused of us many things during our stay. We now have a lawyer investigating our case because it was that bad. Don’t stay at this hotel if you don’t want to be harassed! Also they incurred random charges to my visa with no explanation they claimed were holds however I later found out from Visa they were random room charges.

Extremely clean and well maintained facilities, great service too. The hotel was able to accommodate our early check in and late check out details very comfortably

I stayed for a night in hotel.the lady at the reception was so rude to me and my friends. All the way no customers service telephones line was working. Very disappointed from at this hotel, would never recommend.

So I had some issues in my home and needed a room for a night.

I booked online and went to the hotel.
Apparently I booked my room at the wrong hotel. Lol
The desk person was very helpful. Within seconds the reservation was switched over, they even got me the room for a few dollars cheaper and i got a free breakfast.

The room its self was decent. You could smell that it was cleaned.

I slept well the bed was comfortable all in all a decent stay.
They have other amenities that i didn't have time to check out but it seems like the place is great and a nice place to sleep.

Our room was very clean, bed was super comfortable and the staff were very polite. The t.v in our room was having some technical difficulties but they reimbursed my parking fee due to that. Overall great stay with great staff. Will be staying again next time we are in town.

Room on 10th floor which we were told is "city view" actually is a parking lot that stayed lit all night much prefer to have had Northside view at least see mountains. Pool and spa were closed which was not stated on website and reason why we booked it over less expensive options.

This is probably the first hotel in Canada I have stayed without a microwave. Like seriously? Really strange to me. We came in late with cold food and there was no microwave to use. The guest service I called for help, was so rude on the phone- sounded like the management has made a lot of money and they do not care about us. I felt like checking out immediately to look for another hotel. However, was pretty much tired, after 11 hours drive, ended up sleeping without food.
