Shi Nail Blue Nail Salon

I went to Shi Nail Blue Nail Salon for pedicure twice already. Receptionists are nice and friendly. The technicians are skilful and professional. They offer many gel colours for my selection! Price is reasonable and the salon is clean and relaxing.:) Happy with the service!

Very bad experience. The service provider (wearing name tag Coco) did my pedicure. It was badly rushed. I did not like it at all. Would not go there again and will not recommend.

I'm always happy to go to Shi Nail Blue. Coco was super sweet and friendly, and didn't mind me reading my book. Viko made my feet look fresh as a baby's! I have carpal tunnel and the massage was really beneficial. I accidentally bumped my thumb as I was paying, and they fixed it up for me. Thank you!

This place has gone downhill. They aren’t very nice anymore in person, and aren’t nice at all either when trying to book an appointment time over email. Can’t even communicate properly in full words or sentences over email so I don’t even know what they are saying.
A simple hi even, or thank you, or have a nice day, or whatever would be nice. It’s a shame because I live close by to this location but I would rather travel further to somewhere who actually cares about my business or knows simple manners.

Had a great time getting pedicure and manicure but for other services the pricing is too high. I am new to Vancouver/Burnaby and surprised to see so much price difference from VI

I went to Shi Nail yesterday to get a gel polish manicure, and it was by far the best nail experience I have ever had. The salon is very clean, aesthetically pleasing, and they follow great Covid protocols. The manicure itself was great! The nail tech was very gentle and really took her time making sure my nails were perfect. The staff was so friendly as well. I will absolutely be back.

那两位日本美甲服务员自会说客人坏话。没有素质。 Absolutely not respectful to their customers and the two ladies were talking behind guest back. They talk about how ugly client feets are!

Do not go back to this nail salon.

I had a spa manicure with a friend. We both enjoyed our treatments. Loved my nails and the tech I had was friendly. The spa is very clean which is also nice and relaxing.

5 stars for quality of service and high attention to cleanliness / hygiene! When I first walked in, I thought WOW this place is beautiful and *spotless. * I also felt safe coming here because they had their Covid procedures posted and clearly visible in the reception area.

My sister and I booked appointments the night before the scheduled date. They were able to accomodate us on short notice, so we felt really lucky! Laura worked on both our pedicures (our appointments were one after another, if we booked more in advance they would have been able to schedule us at the same time). She was incredibly caring and checked in to ask if the temperature of the water was ok, if ever I felt uncomfortable to let her know, if the color was OK after she put a drop on the first toe. I could really tell that they are very attentive to their customers and care about helping them feel as comfortable as possible!

I'm so happy with how pretty my toes looked at the end of the service (light cotton-candy pink). It was such a relaxing and pleasant experience! It was the perfect way to check something off my list of things to enjoy during my vacation.

Lovely experience. They took their time and you could tell they really cared. Love how my toes turned out.

I had a very bad experience. There were multiple misunderstandings with what I wanted, and at one point they got so frustrated they were about to send me away. The first time I came I felt comfortable, and my nail lady told me she would remove my fake nails for free the next time I come. This time though, they told me I have to pay. I would not have a problem with paying money for the removal, but they should not have made false promises and then be rude about it as soon as I question the behaviour.

Our favourite nail salon! Nice atmosphere and great service starting from the receptionist to the technician. Will teach you how to take care of your skin at home as well. I would recommend to friends and family.

A really pampering and luxurious service. If you are looking for something quick and budget friendly, this isn’t it but if you want to treat yourself, this place is it. Their nail technicians are always super friendly and professional; I think most of them are Japanese. They also have amazing nail designs.

Very clean and nice environment! Would have liked a bit more massage, but was happy and lucky got in when they had a special just before giving birth! If you get their monthly special or get lucky and can come in when they have a promotion it’s pretty sweet

The service is really good. The staff is very professional. Things that I value and love is the punctuality and the great offer of colors and designs they have. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable and all is extremely clean and well cared.

I have been here a couple times now. They really try their best to accommodate to my schedule and have been able to squeeze me in. I really appreciate that! The salon is clean and has incredibly comfortable pedicure lounge chairs. There is also a good distance between chairs which is quite rare.
Their basic pedicure includes cuticle care, callus removal, massage and polish. The machine they use for callus removal looks scary but it does the job beautifully. The pedi is about an hour so it's not a quickie place. Take the time & enjoy!

Extremely baaaaaad experience. I will never come back to this salon after. I was wondering why they still not fire Miki. I went this salon several times before and I had a strong impression that one day a lady tread a consumer so rude. And this lady did nails for me so I got to know her name is Miki. (not Miko in other commons.) It’s a such terrible experience because Miki keep complained me in Japanese and had strong attitude to me. Unfortunately I can totally understand wut she mutter and complain with her peers. I don’t know that Japanese will assume people don’t understand them and speak ill of people before, because they are pretty nice when I travel in Japan. Then my friend told me she have same experience as me few mouth ago, she also remember that lady’s name is Miki. If you have to do to this salon I highly recommended u avoid Miki:)

Great service! I'm a long time customer there now, have been with them for almost a year now. They have a file for every customer on the ipad of what language u speak and ur bday, and they take a pic of their nail project for reference every time. And also, whenever u get ur nails done they give u 10 day warranty, meaning if u ever damage ur nails within the 10 days u get ur nails done, its free to fix ur nails (not all salons do that). Such a clean environment, all the technicians are so caring for ur nail conditions and they are all such nice ppl there. Whenever they are ready for you, they will take care of ur jackets and put it in their closet and serves you water or tea. For the service they give u they are averagely priced, not too exp and not too cheap. Definitely worth paying for it!

This studio is clean and location is easy to find. However, this nail salon is definitely overpriced. For a manicure, nail extension with simple 2D art they charged me $150 (tip not included). But it's okay since I chose to do my nails here.

What made me really upset was the lady who did my nail, Miko (I believe that's how you spell her name). This lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. She pushed my cuticles so hard that one of my fingers was bleeding yet she didn't apologize. The receptionist asked her to put some medical alcohol on my cuticle. It sting a little bit so I was like "ouch" and Miko said "YOU ARE SUCH A CHICKEN". She was very rude to me since the beginning and I guess it's because I did not choose the nail art that she designed and recommended. I guess she can get paid more if I choose the one that she designed? During the process I was being really cooperative and polite as I was afraid that I might create extra work for her. But she didn't treat me the same way. Whenever she needs me to do something she would just "order" me like "PUT IT IN THE MACHINE", "DON'T MOVE! I TOLD YOU NOT TO MOVE! ", and "RELAX! I'M NOT GONNA HURT YOU OKAY? ! " (to be honest I really can't relax due to the way she treated me). I have bad vision so whenever I lean forward to check my nails she asked me "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT!? " like I don't trust her to do her job. I was just simply want to see what is on my nails! I think I have the right do that as a customer, right? ! I don't see why she gets so angry and impatient as I wasn't bothering her at all.

After my nails were done I was just so released and happy that I can leave this place. I reported Miko to the receptionist and the receptionist told me "That's just how she is". Well, that might be how she is but that definitely should not be the reason she treated her customer so horribly. I have been doing my nails at ShiNail studio over 3 years but I just don't think I will ever come back again. Very, very disappointed. If you still choose to do your nails here I STRONGLY suggest you to avoid Miko. Nobody deserve to be treated like that.

Excellent service and really love the atmosphere in the store. They always remember what my preference and provide the most customized service for me. Definitely recommend to the one who love a professional and friendly nail service.

I love the manicure and pedicure I had here, also the gel nail they did is really good I love it, but it seems a little bit overpriced. I looked through their website and it shown that if I want gel nail with manicure, that’s will only be $20 for gel nail and their regular price for gel nail is $35. However, the receptionist told me that my “gel nail” is not the same “gel nail” as they shown on their website, so I been asked for paying $45 for my gel nail without any discount even I did both mani and pedi. And I don’t know that French style should be charged by nail art on each nail ($20), color on each nail ($10) and sparkle on each nail ($10).
They should let customer know the price then do it.
Definitely wouldn’t be back for their OVERPRICED gel nail. But their manicure and pedicure were ok.
