Dr Cheung is very patient and he looks after his patient well. He took care of my toothache, and make sure my teeth are in good condition.

Very clean dental clinic, staff are friendly and professional. Hygienist Sandra did a very thorough job yet gentle; and made the cleaning experience much more pleasure compared to my past experiences with hygienists at other clinics.

Shine Bright Dental has 2 locations - one in South Vancouver and one in Burnaby near Kingsway. I think their main one is the Burnaby one, which is a new location that they moved into. I highly recommend Dr. Cheung. He was patient and listened to my problems about my teeth, which had been a mystery for two prior general dentists in my neighborhood (one was very close in location to me and the second one was my mom's). Dr. Cheung's location is a little far for me, but now I realized it is worth the drive to have a good dentist really look into my problem and assess carefully. My previous dentist (mom's dentist) was so awful and unprofessional. Dr. Cheung is the complete opposite, he was very professional, caring, and wanted to find the root of the problem. He referred me to a specialist in Oral Medicine to look further into the details.

Back in 2012 or 2013, I had a root canal with Dr. Cheung when my tooth cracked at a restaurant that served me an improperly cooked meal (I'm looking at you, Earl's Restaurant). Long story short, a different dentist could not fix it, and Dr. Cheung fixed it with a root canal and it had zero problems and still has zero problems to this day.

Fast forward to 2021, I had 2 root canals + 2 fillings done by 2 other dentists and it just came with a host of problems. If only I had just gone to Dr. Cheung in the first place instead of picking random dentists who were "close to my home location. " He comes from a family of dentists so their knowledge runs deep within the scope of dentistry. He also respects your thoughts as well if they run outside the 'norm' of conventional treatment. For example, some patients like myself don't want to have conventional root canals nor keep our old root canals, and prefer alternative methods which he understands and listens to as well. I will be doing more work with Dr. Cheung on my teeth and I highly recommend this practice.

Was referred by a friend who comes here for her cleaning and it was the best decision ever made. For someone who is deathly afraid of going to the dentist, I wish I knew about this place sooner. The clinic is extremely new and clean. All the staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Dr. Cheung was engaging and caring - he listened and addressed my concerns using simple human vocab for me to clearly understand the situation and explained the next steps for me to take to improve oral health. Suffice to say, my fear of going to the dentist magically disappeared.

I can’t say enough good things about them! The staff is great and have always done an excellent job with my teeth! I see them every 4 months for regular cleaning. Even on short notice, when I chipped two of my teeth playing hockey, they were able to do repairs within a couple of days. High recommend them!

Dr. Cheung is an amazing dentist and his office has the most up to date equipment including equipment that supports COVID19 protocols. Dr. Cheung's easy going style makes his patient very relaxed and he is able to relate well to patients of all ages. My teenage son finds going to the dentist a good experience and I find it the same. Dr. Cheung's support staff are also very friendly making the whole experience of going to the dentist a very pleasant one!

The best dental and dental cleaning experience I ever had. Everybody is friendly who explains every detail. Also, they have a new x-ray machine which is pretty cool, and I have seen it only in Europe. I used to fly to Europe just for dental, but now I don't need to anymore because their services are compatible whit those in Europe. Thank you again and see you soon
