I am so happy I found Jennah at hair shine lounge! I have been looking for a stylist for years to try to fix my brassy blonde mess, and finally found one! Jennah, thank you for taking the time to assess, correct and beautify my hair. It's the first time in so long I left the salon thrilled about my hair. Jennah went above and beyond, and cannot thank her enough for being so meticulous, and caring when it came to my hair. She is also very personable and easy to talk to, which makes the whole experience that much better! Great job Jennah!

I had not had my hair done since 2019 and decided it was time to change it up again. Jess was absolutely wonderful- so friendly and great with suggesting options to give me a subtle yet beautiful change. My hair feels healthy and glowing! She's definitely a whiz with blondes

I came in for a hair cut, I got about 18 inches of hair chopped off and boy was it thrilling. I went in with little direction of what I wanted, just a change. Jennah did a great job and gave me an awesome style, part way through the cut I changed my mind on how it was turning out and she was more then happy to accomodate. I LOVE the shorter cut. She was also super friendly and talkative, it's been about 3 years since I've been to a salon and I'd definitely go back here.

I was referred to Shine Hair Lounge and so thankful! I started with a curbside purchase of product, when salons were closed due to Covid and then spoke to the owner, Ashley about my hair and she set me up with Tina. I don't trust many with my hair, easily, but I know it is safe in Tina's hands! On top of that, great value for the service, beautiful and clean salon, with a great atmosphere and great protocols in place. Highly recommend!

I got my hair done by Jennah and I just went in for a treatment and a trim. I could not ask for a better service my hair came out more refreshed and healthy, my hair stylist was Jennah, she was so sweet, could keep the conversation going and she did my hair beautifully. Rising Star Alert! Jennah is a natural hair stylist and colorist. I have had my hair cut and colored twice by Jennah and both times I was so incredibly pleased with the results. Get on her client list now before she is all booked up!

Had my first experience at this salon last week. They did a terrific job with my scruffy long hair, as I was left with a cool, short cut.:) Pleasant conversation as well.

This was my first time visiting Shine and I had a wonderful experience! Everyone was super nice and attentive, covid-conscious and clean. This was my first time colouring my hair and I am so so pleased with the result! I cannot recommend Elyse and Shine enough! I will definitely be back

Perhaps due to COVID, the atmosphere seems friendly but not warm. Went twice, and ended up achieving a great manageable and fun haircut.

I love my natural balayage highlights! My stylist showed knowledge of the many shades of blond and gave me the golden look I was looking for that will grow out nicely. Bring photos to aid your stylist in getting it just right.

Caitanna is a true professional and has an attention to detail - her skills are second to none with a personality that will have you clickin’ your heels as you leave the chair!

This salon is extremely clean and the staff is incredibly polite and professional, my wife got her hair done here by Amanda and it looks amazing. She hasn't felt so confident in years! I highly recommend this salon and their stylists. My wife will surely be back.

I've been seeing Ashley for around 4 years now and I always leave with my hair looking GORGEOUS! I used to live in the area, but even though I have moved out to Maple Ridge over a year ago, I still make the trek out to Port Moody to see my hair's bff. I highly recommend this salon, all the stylists are fantastic and friendly.

I recently came to Shine for a haircut with Elyse. I found Elyse through a limited time special she was offering for health care workers, and as a Fraser Health employee, I thought that was such a kind, considerate thing for her to do!

Elyse was able to fix the bad haircut I had been struggling with from the last salon I had gone to and she explained everything she was doing to solve the issue. I’ve never had a stylist explain the why behind all the steps they were taking before and it was so appreciated!

As usual, Stevi gave me an excellent hair cut and made my difficult hair look great - and it's easy for me to style myself. The salon is clean and well organized. I love that they did a collection of donated items for the women's shelter last Christmas and hope, given Covid, that they will be able to do the same this year. Real community spirit!

I've been coming to this incredible salon for over 2 years now. It's so professionally run, comfortable, and welcoming. Tina really listens to my needs and did an amazing job fixing bad color I had done at a different salon.

This was the second time I got my hair done by Amanda and both times I have loved it so much. I waited about a year and a half until I went a second time and my hair was rough. It was so grown out and dead, but Amanda used her magic and lightened up my hair and I am in love. I will definitely keep gong back and not wait as long <3

Amanda lightened my hair to a very nice beige looking blonde after I have distroyed my hair with red and black box dye. My hair looks healthy and feels strong and the cut has fixed many bad haircuts from before. Amanda was fast, comfortable and very knowledgeable.

The salon's COVID measures are some of the best I have seen across the Greater Vancouver Area and it is squeaky clean in there.

Had my hair done today by Tina and absolutely LOVED the outcome. I wanted to go darker but not black and she came up with the perfect shade and I’m obsessed with it. She was fun to talk to, really knowledgeable and super nice. Will definitely be going back to her!

I had the best hair cut ever at Shine. Stevi cut my long hair into a beautiful bob which I absolutely love. Stevi has a wonderfully calm energy, and she really listened to what I wanted. I would definitely recommend her.

Great customer service and super friendly staff. I’ve been going to Shine for the past few years as my hairdresser moved here. I have been fortunate enough to have a few of the other stylists (including the owner Ashley) take me on as a client when my hairdresser has been away and also on maternity and I have had an amazing experience with all of them. They are all very professional and talents and they will go above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience and leave happy with gorgeous hair. Ashley the owner has created a special gem of a place in Port Moody.

Update, 2 years later and still this salon is the best! Ashley has incredible skills as a stylist and one of favourite things to do is to hand myself over to her and her vision. It's clear everyone enjoys their time there- the place is hopping and the conversation never stop.

I have been going to Shine now for over half a year and everyone is so friendly & helpful! I see Tina and she is absolutely fantastic! She knows what she’s doing and she does it well. I’m one of those blondes who asks her to make my fake colour look real & natural lol But without hesitation or struggle she works her magic & does it effortlessly!
