An exceedingly tender hearted set of staff, especially the doctor. The doctor there knows her stuff and she may prescribe a different dosage than a GP because she is concerned about your health and has more knowledge about different options, whereas a general practitioner may over prescribe something because they aren't really allowed to prescribe other stuff.

I had my moles removed by Dr. Mona Khurana, who is very gentle and professional. I also had a consultation with the laser technician Tia, she is super nice and caring. She gave me lots advices on skin care and answered tons of questions about my skin concerns. It was a great experience at the clinic. I am so happy that I find this clinic taking care of my skin.

I really appreciate the whole environment Dr Khurana has created. The ambience is lovely, the reception staff is super responsive in person and on the phone, but most of all the care from the nurse and doctor was extremely compassionate and friendly. charge $150 for 10 minutes guess that’s how they get a few extra bucks I have been to other places that do charge for their consultations and some don’t
the other thing that I felt was they only tried to sell you products before you do any procedures, I found weird I thought when I was to come in that my consultation, they would they would look at my face, or lie me down to see deeply problems are…. $150 understand that They put it towards your procedures only thing that I found was they were just to hook you to come back because you invested just to let everyone know that my consultation was not 30 It was about 10 minutes and the only thing they talked about was the product and what they wanted to sell me before I

Had my first appointment here today, and it was great! Everyone there is super friendly, kind and considerate, and also very professional and knowledgeable. I was a little embarrassed about why I was coming in and they created a very welcoming and safe feeling environment. I live out of town and needed to catch a ferry so I arrived earlier than when my app was scheduled and they managed to see me earlier anyway too. I have nothing but positives to say about this place!

I was blown away by how beautiful and sweet this clinic and the staff was. Dr. Khurana is one of the best in this field and a remarkable individual to come by. She’s patient, meticulous and gentle. This place is the real deal. Acne? Get a referral by your GP to the clinic for MSP coverage. This place has changed my acne and skin issues within a 30 minute consult and prescription. The prescription might cost a bit, so brace, but long run goes a long way and averages out on what you’d spend on useless products (that is, if you’re insurance doesn’t cover). Go here, don’t wait; this is the way.

I went in for a PRP microneedling 2 weeks ago, and my skin looks way better - and younger. It was only one treatment, and already I have noticed such a difference. I definitely will be looking to get this done again.

They have a skin doctor who sees you beforehand to inform you and answer questions, which is very reassuring! My experienced technician Brianne was so personable, just overall awesome and professional. She instinctively knew exactly all the subtle little areas/spots of my face I had concerns about and thoroughly worked on them for me. I've definitely noticed an improvement on these spots since the treatment was done.

The staff are fantastic, it's a very clean environment, and as far as my PRP goes- it's clearly a very effective treatment that I would recommend to anyone.

I consider my skin to be really sensitive, so I thought it would be super red after, but by the time i got home, my bf said it looked like I was just blushing, lol. I didn't experience flaking or dryness, just a bit of tightness for one day after, which was no big deal.

Dr Mona and the entire staff at Shine are angels. Dr Mona created a completely customized treatment plan for a scar I had on my face from skin cancer surgery and I’m not sure who is more excited to see the results, her or me! I got my first ever Aerolase laser hair removal treatment with the wonderful Ruby and it was an amazing experience, MUCH more comfortable compared to the laser hair removal treatments I had before in other skincare clinics. First of all, I really appreciate Ruby mentioning the upcoming Aerolase device when I went for a laser hair removal consultation in the beginning of January. She mentioned that the Aerolase provides versatility for darker skin tones in terms of laser hair removal compared to the traditional laser hair removal devices, which may cause unwanted pigmentation on melanated skin. Second, the entire staff provided examplary customer service right when you walk in to the minute you walk out of the door. I like that you get notifications regarding upcoming appointments and they were very courteous in rescheduling appointments as well. And finally, as a trans woman seeking gender-affirming hair removal, I felt incredibly safe getting my treatment at Shine MD. The environment was inclusive, professional, and congenial. I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with a nice gift this year, and she always said she wanted to get a facial done professionally. I've read many great reviews about Shine MD, and decided to give it a chance. My girlfriend was so happy with the quality of care she was given by Tia.
