I am only giving this pharmacy a 1 star cause there is only 1nice pharmacist the rest need to find a job they like because it's a chore to tell me how much my meds are

Always fast service, secure environment, full shelf with products. Coffee cream, snacks, eggs, bread, knowledgeable friendly staff

The hours are really convenient, I've found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the selection of goods on offer are really useful.

If I could give a zero star I would. This is not a representation of the staff that work there, but of the corporate policy on returns. I purchased a set of earbuds, but they didn't work out. I attempted to return them within a week and with reciept in hand, but was told they wouldn't accept them. I was not inform about their policy prior to purchasing them, which would have influenced my decision. I'm sure the manager could have done something to solve this issue, but just left me disappointed and annoyed. I'm going to avoid shopping at this chain from now on.

Nice location. Well-stocked. Had a great experience with their ID-photo service. Would be great if this service helps earn PC Optimum points.

This review is for the pharmacy, soo unimpressed with the pharmacist
I have yet to meet a reasonably personable pharmacist and this guy was no exception. I was scheduled to have my vaccination at 11: 10, another lady was there for an 11: 15.
He called her in first, didn't go in appointment order, he didn't even ask what time my appointment was.
She left and he was about to take a guy at the consultation window. I spoke up, then he got me to sit inside vaccination office, but helped the other fellow anyway.
He finally administered my shot, unapologetic, and trying to say he had called out my name, he said I didn't answer, so he took the lady that was waiting with me. Liar! Another typical pharmacist, I just don't know what it is with those guys! Not going there for my vaccination again!

It's an okay place it's clean before friendly just not as much to offer as one could in selections of some things

Unfortunately I have had to deal with health issues for the past many years a heart attack at the early age of 40.
Because of this I have had to deal with many pharmacies and pharmacists both in northern BC, Sunshine Coast and a couple of places in Nanaimo
I was taken care by one special pharmacist at Shoppers at University Square that made me feel better than any time before!
Beth treats you like a special client instead of a needy patient.
I would recommend this pharmacy and hope Beth’s special attitude is contagious to all who work there or need her special treatment!

Seriously the pharmacy needs help. Every time my doctor has faxed my prescription they never have it ready! So I have been phoning now way ahead so it will be ready and It never is! There were 6 people behind the desk and a huge line of people! I phoned today 4 hours before I went to pick it up and it wasn’t ready. They said it would be ready in 1.5hours… we’ll that was a lie. If they had less people behind the counter then I would have felt bad but 6 people! Come on.

Never have I witnessed such incompetency in my 70 yrs.as in past 18 mnth at this location.
A. If they say they owe you pills on a prescription (as thankfully I did) keep your bill. Hospital gave me instructions take specific med……Do not miss dose! I got 4 of 24 tabs said they’d have next day.
Noon, next day son goes, not there. I call pharmacist, she says you got them yesterday. I explain, you gave me 4…I need 20 more. Ok, she says they’re here I’m filling it right now. My son returns comes home. They are claiming they gave us 20 owe 4. (I’m seriously ill) son goes 3 rd time. Brings bill and prescription from previous day showing we got only 4 - 20 owing. Was still a struggle because some incompetent had put the reverse in the computer.
This just the latest, how many times now can not count, they say your prescription will be ready ln hr. Next day still not ready, takes 4 yes 4 visits to get. Then there’s the time I was told can’t find it, you must have picked it up. I say, I called it in at 11am by noon was in hospital for 7 days. I could go on, unbelievable, incompetent. Changing pharmacy as of right now not worth the agro.

I was at the Harwood Shoppers Drug Mart- Canada Post Office today (08/09/2021). Most of the staff are pleasant, but there’s is one staff member (older lady, with shorter hair). Every time I go there she is surely, miserable and condescending.

Staff needs better training at this location. Had a few very poor experiences here, usually shoppers is ok although this location needs some attention from corporate management.

While the staff are nice I seriously doesn't understand how a pharmacy can be so unorganized

Edit: after 2 more visits I realized it's the staff that's so unorganized. Tell me 2 o'clock and 3 hours later they finally filled my script. Tell me noon the next day and 4 hours later I I my script. Tell me 3 o'clock today. Show up at 3: 35. Told literally 2 minutes. 18 minutes later staff askes me what my name is again. Guess she needed to BS with a coworker. Over an hour after she said that I'm still sitting in the parking lot waiting you just lost 25 years of business

Everytime I go to the beauty section, no matter if it's a new or old employee, they're always so nice and warm to me!

I dont shop anymore because of the amount of racism I have faced by staff every time I try. I think I have had 1 decent (decent) shopping experience. I would rather walk the 2 hours to the other shoppers or go to London Drugs for my needs. I do not recommend this shoppers, ive even started ordering online some of the products I cant find elsewhere because I now refuse to support them.

Limits on products without any warning other than an employee telling me to put one of my items back. Print a little sign or something.
