The Pharmacists here are great. I live in supportive housing. I tried to get my methadone prescription here. Unfortunately, I am being forced to get my prescription from the Cridge Family Pharmacy by Dr. Fiona Scanlan and Dr Gillian Wiwrachuk. I am told that they take twenty dollars per methadone prescription kickback from Jason Cridge.

Can be an intimidating place. Homeless people outside, security guard at the door. Customer service is great. Always find item I needed and went for.being

For the absurd price of $27.99! You too can get some poor quality customer service along with a poor quality photo. From the lack of being greeted to a or photo being shown prior too printing. Don't bother trying to contact customer service, they failed to offer a retake or refund. Customer satisfaction means nothing to which they made clear. As they allowed a customer to leave without the issue being resolved.

INSTEAD VISIT LONDON DRUGS FOR $18.00 YOU GET OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY.

Worst experience with Canada Post. So slow and long line. I wonder if the management know this is a busy area with too much demand why they dont hire more staff. Will try not to return to this location again. Costed me $5 on parking.

Sam the pharmacist and his assistants were ever so helpful. The pharmacist took the time to listen to my needs and made the proper recommendations with confidence.
I am currently visiting from out of province, and did not know what to do. I am so glad I was able to stop by to get personalized service.

I was in the lane to pick up a prescription yesterday at around 11 am yesterday. There was no one in front of me. The lady pharmacist looked up and asked if I needed help and then asked if I was there to pick up a prescription. Ummm did she think I was just standing there for fun? This is the second time a pharmacist was rude to me, the first one was a male pharmacist (or maybe pharmacy assistant) who didn’t seem to know that pharmacists in BC can now renew prescriptions for up to two years and that pharmacists can also give emergency refills.

Only giving 2 stars because they have good opening hours and good deals sometimes. However, one of their pharmacist is unwelcoming to say the least. I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt but he makes every customer feel like a nuisance.

Walked wearing my black hoodie broused the make up section as I am nonbinary and they thought I thought I was shop lifter I think

I always have a good experience with shoppers, but not today. I was browsing the beauty section and tried on the testers. The first lady was really kind and she helped me when I needed. Then second was really rude, and I don't know she is a racist or not cuz she wasn't picky with other customers. She came to me and asked me WHY i don't need her assistance? And she also didn't allow me to carry the shopping basket in the shoppers. She also interrupted me when I tell her why I didn't need her assistance. First, I know what I am looking for, ok? Not everyone like or need your help every single second in a store. First lady already came in and helped me. So I didn't need a second person to help me. Second, I was well-dressed and still hold a polite attitude as I always do. I didn't show any unpleasant to the second lady even she was rude to me and thought I was a theif. I still bought the item I need at the moment. Well, this is the worst experience I have ever had with shoppers.

I came here for my flu and covid vaccine today and was so happy with my experience! The nurse, Ryan, was so professional and friendly and made the whole getting stabbed bit an absolute pleasure. The other fellow who's name I didn't catch was also a delight. There was laughter, there was tears, overall a 5/5 time. Thank you Shoppers Drug Mart!

They will sell products to other customers that are on hold for you. They kept telling me to come back so a manager could unlock the item from the back. After coming back for the third time, they told me they sold them all.

Quick and efficient, but very busy at busy times. They are open early and late so it’s easy to go at quiet times. The pharmacists are friendly and non judgmental.

Pharmacy needs to call patients when they are out of stock or back order for refills! I tried to fill my prescription on the 7th of this month. Went in to pick up my medication, and they told me in person it was on back order. I spent 4 days trying to figure out if my medication was going to be filled at all. I called one final time and asked "can you confirm I will have my meds by tomorrow morning? I can't wait 2 more days as I'm now going through withdrawal coldturky which is dangerous. " The pharmacy responded by saying "No comment. " During this entire time not once did they call me to inform me of delays, if I had know it was a 5 day delay I would have set up an alternative solution.
DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY IF YOU NEED IMPORTANT MEDICATION IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Unfortunately this store is understaffed and the shelves are always empty. If something's on sale you're most likely to be disappointed it won't be there.

The pharmacist is a very rude person. He gave me false medicine and even the staff did not know why he wants to sell me sth against allergies for a normal flu. But they were to scared to say something. Highly unprofessional.

I had ridiculous experience at this location in beauty section. I shopped at this location soo many time and all the beauty expertise are soo nice but today beauty expertise was soo rude. I liked chanel fragrances and i was hoping to buy one for myself. I asked one of the beauty expertise (covered head) about the chanel perfume. First she asked me about my age (23) and then she showed me couple of perfumes. I asked her if i can smell some and instead of putting perfume on piece of paper or anything for smelling perfumes she sprayed perfume on herself and asked me to smell which is very very ridiculous. Secondly, i asked her about testing perfumes displayed on left side and she told me to look perfumes on right side of display as the left side is for younger girls like her (20yrs). On being asked for what does young girls means and she replied left side fragrances are more soft and is for young people and right side displayed are for older people? What does that mean? Does chanel have any rules that you can’t wear some perfumes after the age of 20. Even though i am just 23 and i can’t wear perfumes as per my choice? Does this even matter for age? She was taking me as i am very aged person Very rude and bad customer services. Teach her some customer services skill and how to treat customers.

It sucks to go shopping, fill a basket and then walk home empty handed because they're out of bags. This has happened to me at this location multiple times.

I feel bad for the staff left holding the basket. They must get a lot of flack for it.

I'll be walking the distance to London drugs from now on.

Please remember to bring your own bags when you go shopping here! There are no bags for a while!

BEST DRUG STORE EVER! I've lived in several parts of Victoria, Saanich, and Sidney, but i've always used Shoppers for my Epilepsy Meds. They know what need, and they call a few weeks before it runs out, reminding me to get another prescription. Very Friendly People!

I am officially done using shoppers drug mart. Just two weeks ago I had trouble with them up island, and again tonight I had yet another terrible experience with them here in Victoria. Pharmacy is always slow and inconsistent to begin with, then their post office quoted well above what I was told it would cost to ship an item than I was told yesterday at a different PO, so I ended up paying 15 dollars extra for no reason due to “bubble wrap”.

Thor was quite helpful, my girlfriend was looking for exfoliation pads and be walked around the store with us and showed us the various options. Very friendly!

I always come here to shop but today for some reason the security guy followed me upstairs while I was talking on the phone. He then stood close to me and watched me the whole time when i was on the phone talking leaving his main area downstairs as if I'm about to do something. I leave the store and look back and I saw him come back down after me.
Weird!

Tacky as heck, dusty, the shelves are sparsely stocked and often when i go for a specific product which i've always bought from shoppers at hillside or uptown, they are out of stock.a bunch of useless stuff is upstairs they shoujld focus on toiletries and skincare!

Worst shoppers drug mart in town. Staff was horrible, 3 ladies working in makeup were gossiping I had no help and security watched people cut in line and told me to go to self checkout instead of letting me keep my spot in line. Uptown shoppers is the best, I won't be returning downtown

Does not close at midnight. Went before 12 to grab something quick and got a locked door and an annoyed looking cashier shooing me off. Don’t advertise what isn’t true.

Rudest checkout ever. Explained that I have a disability in my arm and I cannot reach up onto the counter to bag my items. Man told me if I wanted my items bagged I had to buy a bag and couldn't use the one I've brought (remember I told him I have a disability the doesn't allow me to reach that way and he wouldn't budge, but wanted to sell me 2 bags) time was 6: 01 today. Real winner you've got employed Shoppers. You should be ashamed. Reopening is underway, bags in this city are 50 cents plus and your bags aren't designed for those with disabilities. Will be writing to corporate as well

I've only been there once since they moved but I had a great experience. Bahar and Sam in the pharmacy were great. Very professional and helpful.

The pharmacy & Canada post is decent, the remaining staff are very unhappy and aggressive toward people not knowing where things are in each aisle

I live nearby and frequent this shoppers a lot for small things and packages after or before work. Got asked to put my bag behind the counter even though its a tiny backpack and they had no issue with a white lady with a huge open purse? Can vouch with the other reviews that quite a few of them need sensitivity training and are disrespectful sometimes.

I received unempathetic service from a clerk over the phone. I placed an order with Joe Fresh to inquire if it could be returned to a Shoppers Drug Mart. She answered in the negative, but does SDM and Superstore realize that seniors have to take a one+hour long bus ride each way? This is most unempathetic and just bad business considering you are part of the same company! I don’t shop much at SDM and likely won’t again.

I would give zero stars for this location. Beauty Boutique service is terrible. I don’t know how they make any money, other than it’s convenient, but they certainly don’t offer you anything extra. Go to Sephora or somewhere else, if you want actual service or to be actually treated like a valued customer. If I’m going to spend money on luxury items, I expect better than this.

This cashier Emily has no people skills twice she's been rude to me, waves recept in air teasing me with it. I think she should of just given to me rascist girl.

Worst service I’ve received at a Shoppers. The staff would not leave me alone and kept watching me and talking to me about products I really did not want or care about. After 3 times of telling them that I was just browsing and did not want help they took my products up to the cash desk. Something that I find incredibly disrespectful when I am interested in buying something and deciding to buy it or not. Mind you, I had NO backpack, heavy clothing or anything that would make me appear like a shop lifter. I was dressed nicely and even had my makeup done. I have no idea why in the world they have such rude staff. I even heard a girl radio another worker telling her to watch me.it was not only embarrassing but degrading. Being a Latina woman I am mad that such a well know chain would be discriminatory to young women.

This establishment seriously needs to be trained on customer service and being respectful of diverse people. It’s incredibly frustrating to shop somewhere like this and I have made sure to never return to this location.

I also want to mention I spent $50+ on cosmetics and the lady at the cash desk didn’t say anything to me or offer me a bag. At other locations I’ve been given samples or at the very least they have spoken to me.

Tried to send a package at the Shoppers post office. Had to wait while the guy behind counter was done whining about his sore foot 'Muscles' then neither of the two could manage to help me ship my parcel claiming I was referring to Great Britain Royal Mail. Forget about it I'll just keep it till I see my friend. Thanks for nothing.

Unbelievable Gestapo style customer service. Will not ever shop here watching how they treat others, not my personal experience, just observer how they treated a young girl there. Bizarre!

Always helpful. Always courteous. The staff takes the time to say hello and get to know you. Pharmacy gives dog treats to dogs. Christine at the post office is a gem. Wonderful store

My local SDM #221 here in Victoria BC is not transparent, eager to help or timely when it comes to the generic drugs they dispense. A generic Rx I've taken for years suddenly "changed" in Size & Colour making it extremely difficult to swallow. I tried to get one of the several Pharmacist's including the owner pharmacist Brian Martindale since early September by email (with copies to Corporate Headquarters), phone and in person to respond to my query around this seeming change of drug - why does it look different (now bigger & heavier tablets), is the source changed, where is this drug made etc etc, or this just temporary etc. The only response I've received is deafening silence. This is worrysome, unsettling, completely disrespectful and makes it hard for me to trust the company who works hard to find ways to source cheaper products so they can sell them for greater profit!

Huge shoutout to Fred for his amazing product knowledge. Always had the exact location of what I'm looking for ready when I ask. Amazing

Came in with my daughter tonight to get her some makeup and Natasha, was super helpful and knowledgeable. We both appreciated the care and time she spent with my daughter to make sure she got the right products. We will definitely be back to shop for more beauty and cosmetics in the future.

I would advise NOT using this shoppers drug mart.
There is a degree of incompetence taking place at this pharmacy I haven’t see to this level.
There has been 6 mix ups with my prescription.
Not able to get the order right, not getting the right prescription, getting the prescription details confused. And each time told to come back later, then when finally I receive my prescription, it was in this defective bottle, the lid not closed and all the pills falling out and being crushed into dust in my pocket.
The deformity in the bottle must come from an injection mold not being complete.
Is there more of these defects out there?

Would this lead to a class action suit against Shoppers? Will there be recalls?

So I will have to return AGAIN! Is this the 7th time?

My backpack stolen at Shoppers while in there care and they will not replace bag or glass in bag and they have tape of bag been stolen.

Very poor customer service. Contacted customer service via phone to ask a question about the Canada Post counter (which was not manned during operating hours and not answering phone calls). Person who answered phone call told me that it was not their problem and hung up on me.

Regarding your night staff: glaring at/treating every customer with a back pack like a potential thief is not the best customer service skill. Two of your female employees made me feel so uncomfortable I would rather go out of my way to shop at the uptown location than return to this store.

I apologize in advance as this is a long rant but the level of powerlessness and anger I feel is overwhelming. I've always had fine shopping experiences at shoppers untill tonight.

I walked in to pick up my perscription (pharmacy staff are great, 5 stars all around. Warm, friendly and helpful). As I walk in I make eye contact with a tall man by customer service. His eyes immidiatly widden and his facial expression turns to one of suspicion. I realize this is one of their undercover security detail. (Although not very good at his job as it was immediately obvious) so I decided to do what was suggested to me by a friend of mine in the same line of work only at Safeway; which is to "have fun with it and play cat and mouse with us, put us to the test" I do just that. He walks up to me with intention and stands LITERALLY 1.5 feet behind me. I realize hes not in the mood and turn around to level with him. Before I can get a word off he steps even closer amd says (in an aggressive and intimidating manner) "you're pretty interested in what I'm doing" I said "ya I'm messing with you" This didn't just bother him he became enraged. I began to understand that this individual is nothing like my friend at Safeway and isn't looking for a peaciful solution. So I look him right in the eye and say "listen I'm not stealing anything I'm just grabbing a script" he replies (again in an aggressive and intimidating manner) "I dont care, I'm not going anywhere. So I make my way to the pharmacy and he steps in my way cutting my path off. I actually have to step back, he again closes the distance between us. I have to put my arm out and say please dont come another step. He replies "if you keep this up I'm going to have ask you to leave" I say "I just want to get my script" I then step around him and he again steps in my way. Finally I had enough and turn around to go to customer service. He follows me there as well. As I wait for someone to actually show up he leans on the isle and starts asking me in an antagonist way "what good do you really think getting a manager will do? " How right he was. The manager appears and demands "WHAT! " The security guard smirks. I ask to speak to the manager in private, which he agrees to. I try to explain myself to him and ultimately ask to not be antagonized while I pick up my script. I understand they need to stalk and watch people but I somehow doubt "to bully and antagonize" is in the job description. The level of disinterest and disdain coming from the manager is palpable. I dont even finish my complaint and decide to just walk away, as I do so I hear the manager say "that's right"
I sum it up as a loss and head to the pharmacy (again great people in the pharmacy) As I wait in line I hear the security guard and manager again. They have situated themselves not 10 feet away from the line I'm waiting in to talk about me with insult. At this point I'm literally speechless. The level of disrespect and immaturity is astounding. There was actually another employee with them. A group of 3 standing just close enough to be heard, throwing insult. After my script is finished I will never shop here again or any other shoppers drugmart for that matter.

Sue was very kind and stayed late to help us with passport photos. She was very kind and patient even though the computer was being troublesome.

I'm not a big fan of #bigpharma but the pharmacy team here deserves recognition. They are consistently attentive, friendly, helpful, and professional. I have zero plans to switch because every question and issue I have regarding medication they've been 100% on my team for.

Today a guy named Owen checked for a product in the back for me even though he looked busy and was super nice. I really like all the staff here they are super chill folks.

New location new refresh but new hiring team not up to mark as a customer services, not a first time and not only with me I noticed while I was on line. And 3 to 4 times I do shopping their at a week

Front counter staff was arguing with me and a nother store agent. About a price override due to a sale the store manager approved.store experience was lacking would not recommend

Pharmacy staff were unhelpful and couldn’t answer our questions. They were reluctant to help me look for a product and were quite rude. Went to London drugs and found everything I needed. Will not be returning to this store.

Rather a cramped looking Shoppers compared to many others I've shopped at. They are in the process of moving so hopefully that will mean a better selection of products and nicer looking store.

Two stars only as some of their staff are really rude! The young, East Indian guy on the cash registers is particularly bad. Always trying to rush customers through, no smiles, and NO apologies when he messes up on a price, transaction.which has happened to us more than once. We try to avoid interacting with him as it's one big annoyance and downer. Definitely not an asset to this store.

I like Shoppers overall for price, points.but there is definitely room for improvement at this location.

The tall girl with short blonde hair (her name starts with a B) in the makeup area was absolutely amazing! I was looking for a Nyx foundation in a particular shade and came in a couple times looking for it, but the shipment hadnt arrived. Even so, she went and looked for it for me and gave me the best information she could about when it would arrive and I was able to go in and get it today. She was completely professional and very kind. Thank you!

The canada post worker (young man in his early 20's with brown hair) is so rude! I ship items at this location frequently (on a weekly basis) and never has issues. One time this young man is working and I had to tape my shipping label to my package. He said he was only allowed to give me "3 small pieces of tape" to attach my shipping label. LOL. Every time I ship something, the employees give me a sticky envelope to seal the shipping label in. This man was so disrespectful to me, I told his manager. I haven't seen him since so hoping he was fired.

Inaccurate pricing on products, really rude staff with no smiles or willingness to help customers in need, I have only ever came into seeing rude and disrespectful staff, not only that but the paper bags used to be 25 cents, and now has gone up to 57 cents? They also don't ask you for optimum cards, and won't correct it when you ask. That is all.

Omg don't even get me started on the issues this shoppers has. I still shop here frequently due to convenience but it is one of the top two worst shoppers drug mart locations I've been to. Number one being the one on Fort Street.
