Dilpreet S.in the beauty boutique was nowhere to be found for the 15 minutes I spent examining skincare products. I even stated out loud to my partner how overwhelmed I was by the sheer number of products. However, when I did decide on my purchase he rushed towards me and told me I had to buy it at the beauty boutique counter. When I asked him why he basically repeated that beauty items needed to be purchased at the the beauty boutique. When I asked him why he didn't come to help me the entire time, he had nothing to say. Honestly I loathe going to this Shoppers Drug Mart and Dilpreet S.shouldn't be working in a retail sales environment.

Do not go to this shoppers.
They don't honour returns even though the product is not opened and nowhere does it state that the product is final sale.

The owner/associate pharmacist is absolutely terrible to deal with and treats you with nothing but hostility.

Avoid at all costs. There's enough shoppers to not go to this infested, terrible service one

Had a great experience with the pharmacy and cashiers. However, in the beauty boutique side, the cashier lady watches people very blatantly (probably to avoid theft). Her look seemed impolite to me, almost like she was watching a thief.
Next time I visited there, another lady was doing the same but in a less offensive way.

The older woman at the beauty boutique working during the day is beyond rude! She had put chairs to limit people's access. I came in to pick up some favorites and it was like, "am I allowed to be in here? Its all blocked off" she just shrugged and had no reply. I peaced out real quick.

I had the worst experience here! I went to get a prescription my cardiologist email me for a CT scan appt in the next 3 days. This pharmacist Gennette was so UNPROFESSIONAL, raised her voice, and argued with me. Judging me why I received the email in Sept and waited one month to get my prescription. First of all, my CT scan is not scheduled until end of Oct, even if I get it in Sept, it will be just sitting at home. Also who said I can’t get my prescription 3 days before my Ct scan appt? I need to take it 24 hours before the appt anyways.
She refused to give me my prescription due to my cardiologist email it to me and it’s on the phone. That I understand if it’s against the law without the actual paper but actually she could just simply ask me to get print out at home and bring it back. She made it so damn difficult and asked me to call my doctor on Monday and have him email it to the pharmacy. He shouldn’t do this, it’s against the law blah blah blah.
So I went home and print out the prescription right away and got the medication from the shoppers on Homer. The pharmacist on homer is so much nicer, both stores are only 3 mins walk from my home. So I will only go to the one on homer st from now on.

Very rude staff and extremely abusive security! I get that its security 's job to stop theft but when you are treated like a criminal the moment u enter the store going as far as to tell u certain items are far to expensive for u, walking with u, hanging onto the basket so they can see each item, and then despite by the time I got to the till I was so humiliated

Got an Xbox series S here today. They were extremely helpful, was a good experience. Definitely the shoppers I'll look to visit when I'm downtown.

They sold me a fake visa prepaid loaded with 400$ which they won’t refund. I’ve spoken with pc optimum, visa & shoppers more times than I can count. Probably 50hrs on this in the last week. All of them are placing blame on each other. It’s ridiculous! Although they gladly took my money, They won’t give me my money back. Now I’m stuck dealing with Blackhawk for a claim. Just today they gave me more stuff to fill out and send back. Said it could take 3 months…

There are rude employees in the pharmacy department. The only one who is the most amazing and understanding is Mahshid. She was the most talented and understanding person that handled the problems of the colleagues. When you go there, if Mahshid isn’t available or not working, just pay attention to the others and ask them to explain everything.

Don't come to this store!
This is the worst branch of shoppers you've ever seen in this town.

I used to have some urgent purchases from them since last year and all the six times I saw the same below issues (I had 2 returns among all my purchases from there in a year, a candy and an eye cream which I return less than 24h)

- Someone staring at you all the time! It's like u r a professional thief! Even if you are purchasing more than 500$, no diff! U r still suspicious even in check out and exit path?

- You want to return s.tg the day after you purchased, only "a day". They like to kill you and never do it! You think that whatever you bought was the most harmful thing in the world and they are scared to take this risk and return it!

- There is a guy, Orly, he is the worst person you can see even as an administrator but they call him Manager! He is lying, pretending that he can't understand what you say, pushing u back for any claim you have, telling you are not right in what you say, convincing you on the product you don't want it "Plus" having horrible behaviour with his colleagues who are trying to help you! I've never seen a customer care manager like him in my 4 years of living experience in this city in any business!

Please note, if you like to have experience of the escape room, with free time and energy, try this place! Specially when u want to return something, consider a minimum of one hour even for a very very small product besides too many fights and anger.

Pictures for Passport Renewal Disaster!
Whatever you do at this location, DO NOT get your passport pictures taken. My application for renewal was rejected by immigration Canada due to the pictures being too dark. When I spoke to the manager (Paul) about it and handed him the pictures, he immediately said "Oh, yeah. Too dark, right? " before I could actually explain the problem. Yes, insane. There was no apology, nothing at all. He even went as far as to say: "We can't always guarantee they'll (pictures) be accepted". Again, yes, insane. Now I don't have time to get a new application done on time for an important work trip. The nonchalant attitude about the problem seemed completely indifferent to this manager. He clearly didn't give a s#*t. So go there and get your meds, but not your passport pictures. Or better yet, don't go there at all.

** update ** I called to make a complaint to the manager. The manager just said “Thanks, we’ll look in to it” - They literally could not care less. A joke.

Oh what a surprise, it seems this is a recurring problem for many customers. DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE. I have spent so much money on this business, only to have their staff, quite literally stalk you down the aisles.

If this store is experiencing theft issues, your team needs to find an alternative approach, because, clearly following regular customers is not the smartest approach is it? From a business vantage, it’s stupidity at its best. I noticed they use chairs to block off the perfume section in the evenings. Do you actually want people to buy stuff in this store? Ridiculous.

I came in here yesterday, and it was the last straw. I came in to pick up something for my mental health. The security guard and staff stalked me the entire time I was in the store. As if I’m going steal a $30 JLo Glow perfume, it’s laughable.

I can see they did this to a lady going in, to pick up a pregnancy test - this is totally inexcusable behaviour. You're dealing with people in health-related matters, and your retail and security guard team are clearly not qualified or professional in this area. Will go to London Drugs instead!

Even though this pharmacy is closer to my house, I am going to start going elsewhere. I have type 1 diabetes, and they always seem to be extremely confused by the fact that I don't have a prescription, even though every other pharmacy I have ever been to hasn't had an issue with this. This time, I phoned to do my refills and the person on the phone didn't know if they had something in stock, so I said I would go somewhere else if they didn't have it in stock so could she check, and she gave me the most exasperated sigh and put me on hold. The customer service here is always lacking and it's very difficult to do my refills.

This place has free parking so it’s easy to access. Usually take a lot of time to get prescription.

I was really surprised to see the mediocre reviews of this store. I frequent this Shoppers every other day for the past three years, staff always friendly and welcoming. I recommend this pharmacy highly.

The women working at Canada Post here are soo disrespectful! Always make me feel like I'm hassling them. Unfortunately this is my closest shoppers drug mart/Canada post. I think I will request my packages to be delivered to a different one bcs these people are ridiculous! If your customer service skills are that bad, I suggest you get a different job. Plenty of nice hard working people to fill your positions. If I could give this Canada Post location less than 1 star, I would. Actually shocking.

I went to return an item there today and despite the return policy on the receipt, they refused to take it back… they quoted a online policy that states that returns are at their discretions regardless of the receipt policy. The supervisors were verbally abusive and disrespectful and told my senior mother to get out of the store. When I said I would file a complaint, she said good luck with that and she couldn’t be fired.we went to another location and had no problem with a return. This location has terrible service and should be avoided

3 weeks ago, l had a requisition for my 3 years old daughter and they sold me near expiary medicine! Moreover, there was some mistake from pharmacy about the volume of antibiotic which made me to come back and buy another bottle after 6 days and finally resulted in not cured ear infection and again we reffered to urgent care!
I have to mention that preparation of my medicine took around an hour and after this long time came in a wrong amount which is ridiculous!

On October 29 in the afternoon, I was racially profiled. I was followed around the store by two older white women from cosmetics. They were standing a foot away from me for the entire time. At this point I wasn’t even looking through cosmetics and was still be followed and asked over 4 times if I needed help. I wasn’t dressed in bulky attire and had a small purse on me (not that it should even matter). One of them even whisper to the other one “keep an eye on that one” before heading out. I felt inhumane and small. I didn’t find what I was looking for, but I was so anxious, I just ended up randomly purchasing an item, just so they wouldn’t think I was stealing or call the cops on me. I left the store sobbing. I didn’t say anything at the time it happened, because I was so caught off guard. But I thought I would let my fellow BIPOC know what kind of store they’re walking into, cause It’s just not worth it to feel that way.

I found a great deal on a probiotic. I was shocked to see the price but went ahead and took my time to read the differences between the various brands.
I took it down to pay and it came up a completely different price. I told the cashier I could run up and take a photo (I wish I had now) she sent another staff member who took his sweet time then called down saying I was mistaken and the one beside it was on sale. I told the cashier they were all on sale so I went up to take a picture and show her. The other employee had removed two stickers and replaced one with another price.
It annoys me to no end. I will forever take photo's now.
Honesty is always the best policy. They have lost a customer for good now.

Have had great experiences in the past (friendly cashiers in particular) but recently received appalling service from the manager while attempting to return a pair of sunglasses that broke while I was wearing them (they have a design flaw; the rubber in the frame is not adequately heat-resistant and weakens in direct sun). No matter what I said he refused to discuss the issue, and only robotically repeated that they do not accept returns on sunglasses, which is a bald-faced lie. He refused to treat me like a human being, let alone a customer. Avoid this location.

This location always feels unorganized and not so pleasant to shop from in general. Especially the pharmacy is very slow and customer service non existent. Each time I was here to pick up prescription, waiting was unnecessarily long, no acknowledgement of customers waiting and served out of orders. Will never return.

The night pharmacist was really kind to me. She took the time to explain my prescription and we shared a moment about the stresses of living in the pandemic. I appreciated this human touch.

I have been using Liberty building Shoppers drug mart for 7 yrs. The owner Genette is a wonderful person. I became VERY ILL and when I returned home from the hospital she arranged for delivery of my Meds. The whole team is caring, professional, I believe all the staff like their job. I have never been treated poorly or disregarded. At this Shoppers it feels like the customer is important. Thanks everyone

Absolutely no one at the pharmacy counter, still told 45 min wait for prescription!

A few weeks ago, I received a text my prescription was ready for pick up. No one there but me, waited at the counter for 15 mins. Lots of people behind the counter all trying to look busy. Then some dude shows up behind me in queue, and immediately a clerk (older asian woman) approaches, looks past me and greets and serves him? ! Rest assured, never again.

Don't buy your prescriptions here. They are more expensive than other pharmacies and the pharmacist there is very rude and makes a lot of mistakes. They charged me for a medication that os fully covered by the BC government and she keeps trying finding an excuse to charge the amount. I had to call the government for them to help me. Also, more than twice they messed up labels of the medication on the coNtainer and they fixed only when I noticed the shape of the pills were different than before and asked her. I will never buy with them again and don't do it yourself as well.

Got 5 christmas card which all was damaged, and non had package, most was $3 but they charged me each for the most expensive one which was $5, just because others didn't have barcodes

This place never seems to have a lot of the products advertised in the flyer each week. Also for a drug store you thing you would be able to get diet ginger ale for a upset stomach, as a matter of fact there isn’t any diet options at all and as a diabetic it would have been appreciated.

They are not selling large bottle of milk anymore which i have to go another market so i do lots of my shopping from that another market. I still go there but much more less.

This was my go-to Shoppers. They have now stopped selling the larger jugs of milk, so I doubt I will shop here much anymore. Very disappointed—the smaller jugs are half as big but almost as much money. I’ll go elsewhere unless or until this is changed.

It’s a pretty typical shoppers, quite quiet most of the times I’ve been there. The store has a bit of a strange layout. Staff doesn’t acknowledge you but gets the job done.
