Excellent establishment with a staff that's genuinely supportive. I am always greeted with smiles. The premises are tidy and efficiently arranged and well lit. The pharmacy unit (Nadia) along with the rest of the team, radiates qualities of kindness, expertise, professionalism, courtesy, and promptness. Both the staff and the manager have every reason to feel a sense of pride. Even the service at the post office is exceptional. I do have a slight concern that my positive review might contribute to longer lines at the store, but I'm more than willing to take that chance. My sincere appreciation goes out to Shoppers Drug Mart at Willoughby Town Centre.

Poor experience with the pharmacy. Gave me the wrong medication, after I noticed manager refused a refund. After some “back and forth” they recognized there mistake and gave me what I needed. This is the third time I’ve had in issue with these pharmacists. Save your time and go to the pharmacy at Save-on-foods pharmacy further south.

On August 22nd, I attempted to buy a trimmer from this loacation after work. The website said it was in stock.

The item was on the shelf in an empty box directing me to see the cashier.

There was no cashier, but I waited several minutes at the cashier check out, and eventually a staff member showed up. She said she needed someone to go in the back to get it. Then she tried paging someone. Nobody arrived.

Eventually the cashier went off looking for the person. Several more minutes went passed before the cashier came back and said that it hadn’t been unboxed from a shipment, she couldn’t find the supervisor, and I should come back another day.

This was poor effort, and I asked to speak with the Manager. The Manager wasn’t available but she said she’d try the Supervisor again.

Several more minutes later, the Supervisor showed up and asked what I wanted. I explained the situation again, and she went away presumably to get the clipper I wanted.

Another 5 minutes later, the Supervisor called the cashier to tell her to tell me it wasn’t available.

This was all incredibly irritating and unimpressive. I left my name and number for the manager to call me back.

No phone call has occurred as of 3 days later. This is clearly a poorly staffed and run location.

I've had a few different shopper's drug marts as my pharmacy. I recently moved into this area and was quite surprised to see how friendly the staff is. That has not been my experience at other stores. They always have my prescriptions filled on time as well:)

By far the most disorganized pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I’ve been patient with them but they’ve lost my prescriptions several times and just aren’t reliable. It’s more often than not that the prescription won’t even be prepared when you give them ample time, and they assure you it will be ready by the confirmed pick up time.

When you rely on medications daily to function this is totally unacceptable.

Yesterday I was assured by a pharmacist that an important medication would be ready first thing in the morning.

I went by before work and they said it got lost in the system and wasn’t prepared yet.

There’s no sense of urgency or ownership.

Moving to a pharmacy that’s further away to ensure I can rely on getting my medication on time.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any pharmacy.

The cleanest, most professional, well organized location I’ve ever been to! It feels like going into an ULTA in the states…but it’s here in Canada! I will definitely go out of my way to go to this location. It is amazing, so amazing I told my girlfriends about it and want to come here for a shopping day! Could easily spend a solid hour or two browsing the beauty department. Hats off to the team and manager of this place, I’m thoroughly impressed.

Nadia has amazing customer service and was able to contact my doctor for refills so that I’m able to get my prescription on time. She was very insightful helped me with any questions I had. Overall amazing staff and atmosphere! I have already recommended this location to others!

Waited a half hour. Got a call to come in for my prescription. Been waiting for 40 mins to pic up. Was told to wait because others had been waiting longer. Zero professionalism and I will not return again

This Shoppers provides exceptional service. I always pick up my prescriptions at this pharmacy and the pharmacists are always very helpful.

New year's day I had an emergency prescription to fill out, the wonderful pharmacy assistant there was swamped immediately upon opening, but was so helpful and really gracious under so much pressure

Never go to this Shoppers location. Worst service other than they give invalid excuses about insurance process delays

Shopped in the beauty boutique & the staff were far from friendly and borderline rude. I’ll stick to Sephora!

Terrible pharmacy. Live close by but going to drive farther away to not deal with the rude, unprofessional pharmacy staff. Wouldn't recommend to anybody take your business elsewhere

This pharmacy is the worst. I have a regular prescription that I refill here because it’s the most convenient location to my home. I have tried to refill online twice, and never received an email after a couple of days to say it was ready. I went in, and they didn’t even have a record of it. This most recent time I got it filled when I went to check the status and they said to come back around 5pm and that it would be ready then. (This was around noon) I went back and it wasn’t ready yet! I have a couple of more refills and I will be switching pharmacies and having them transferred there.

Doctor sent the prescription, the pharmacy called and told me it was ready. A patient support group said they faxed the pharmacy advising them that the costs would be covered. I went to the pharmacy and at first they had no idea what prescription I was there for, then they found it on the computer but said it wasn't covered (so I have no idea what happened to the prescription that was ready for me when they phoned?), So I told them that the patient support group faxed them earlier with the confirmation. The pharmacist denied receiving any fax without even taking a moment to look, but said she would look into things with the other employees and call me back. It's been a week and I'm still waiting for that call back. But hey, don't worry Shoppers Pharmacy, I'll just manage the pain from my inflammatory auto immune disease without my prescription.

I have been using this pharmacy for about 6 months & have always found it to have quick turn around with very knowledgeable & helpful staff. Nadia is always very friendly and excellent with providing answers to all of my questions.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
I will be switching all my prescriptions to London Drugs and avoiding this location at all costs.

Last time I was in I had to wait over 40 mins for staff to sort out a billing issue that turned out to just be data entry by said staff.

Now need to sort out some details for my prescriptions. Called last night waited on hold 15 mins was hung up on called back waited on hold 20 mins gave up. Called this morning waited on hold 15 mins called back and waited another 15 still have yet to talk to anyone.

First of all I have been advised you can book appointments online however whenever I try it does not work, I click appointment and then it bring me to a new page to select appointment type but there is nothing to select.
Secondly the staff have very little customer service skills. Multiple times i am standing there for many minutes with other customers and not one member of staff wants to help us. 5 pharmacists were there the last time and they all try not to make eye contact. No one wants to help, I have to ask for assistance and they then look at me as if they hadn’t noticed I was standing there. It’s ludicrous. They need 1 staff member to focus on customers while the others prep the prescriptions.
Each time there is only 1 pharmacist that seems to help unfortunately she was not there on my previous visit.

I have a very good experience with the staff. They are very nice and helpful. Specifically Rose, Nadia and the lady with hijab that I don’t know her name. They are super helpful and anytime that I go there, they will provide the best customer service to me. Actually I moved to Langley recently, and one of the things that I’m really happy about this neighbourhood is the Shoppers staff. Thanks guys️

This neighbourhood store is often hit and miss in the retail customer service area but always my go to for pharmacy. If your lucky enough to have Nadia on shift your experience is friendly and she always goes out of her way to go as quickly as possible. Nadia has taken care of our entire family’s prescription quickly, knowledgeably and with a smile. Staff changes often so hopefully she stays otherwise this store can often super busy and behind when she’s not on shift

THIS IS THE WORST SHOPPERS I’VE EVER BEEN TO! Not for the products, but for the customer service and the inappropriate and unprofessional security! Unbelievable. I have no words. Today I went shopping with my mother to find a perfume for my birthday. Immediately the security guard started to stare at me and my mother while we were talking with the perfume lady who was advising us which one to buy. I didn’t think anything of it at first, however, after some consultation we decided to keep looking around the store for a bit and that’s when things started to feel very uncomfortable and super unprofessional. The security was following us (IN A VERY OBVIOUS WAY) everywhere we went and he started to peep from aisle to aisle at what we were doing. There were many other people in the store and he wasn’t looking at them and not even following them around. This made us feel very uncomfortable so we went to refer it to the woman who sold us the perfume at the register. She said that it’s his job to look at everyone. Me and my mother kept telling her he was directly staring at us and following US around on purpose. She kept repeating the same thing, so we grabbed our stuff and left the store. Subsequently we tried calling the customer service and the manager who picked up repeated the same thing the other woman told us. We told her that it’s unprofessional to just make us feel uncomfortable and peeping from aisle to aisle in a very obvious way. She said that the security is supposed to act this way. Even though she said she’ll try to talk to him, we didn’t feel any sympathy nor consideration for our horrible experience. It is unacceptable to feel this way. It makes me think I’m being racially profiled. And it pains me and angers me. My mother is equally upset about it. This was my first time at this shoppers and I will not be returning again. I want to warn everyone going there. The security is horrible, don’t waste your time shopping there!

This is the second time now with this same pharmacist, I was waiting at the "drop off" counter for 15 minutes with no service from the pharmacist who glanced in my direction a number if times with no hello no I will be right there.absolutely nothing. Tonight I asked if I could get some help as I needed a behind the counter. Item. She looked over at me with a look thar said don't bother me, but actually said come back when there is someone else tomorrow. I said yes I will come back when there is someone that will work at all and I left. It is Saturday evening Sept 03/22 at 8: 58 pm

Worst pharmacy ever! There staff is so incompetent that they don’t even bother looking for the prescription sent by the physician! They don’t even take a minute to look for it before saying no to the customers and they keep asking to resend the prescription over and over again! I once had to resend the prescription 3 times and they still said they don’t have a prescription by that name. Worst pharmacy ever never go to this pharmacy!

Extremely Poor service, longer waiting times, the staff mostly declines the customers saying that they haven’t received the prescription from the doctor even though it was sent a couple of times. They don’t respect customers time and suffering. Getting a hold of a family doctor is painful enough, imagine how frustrating it gets waiting for the medication after all that. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by this particular shoppers drug mart. I would prefer my prescriptions delivered to some other pharmacy rather than coming here

Horrible customer service, I used to love coming to this shoppers and usually have a great experience especially with the lady’s in the beauty boutique. They racially profiled me because I was carrying a wallet with indigenous art on the back, when I asked security to stop following me in the perfume section he followed me all the way to the front counter, and “apologized” while continuing to invade my person space. His excuse for following me was there’s been thousands of dollars in theft, but when I got home and looked in my bag the perfume had a metal security tag on the bottom so there’s no reason for him to be following around a loyal customer. I will no longer be giving my commission to this beauty boutique, I’ll go to the thunderbird where there’s lots of helpful beauty boutique workers, no security stalking you, and overall a better shopping experience. I will however be coming back to file a complaint with management.

This pharmacy has really bad customer service. The pharmacist staff are rude and come off as lazy. The medication is never ready on time after having asked for many months for the medication refills to be ready for pick up. They don’t help in trying to find a solution for patients and don’t answer or return phone calls. Please do not bother replying with a “we are sorry” general template reply if you are not actually going to fix the customer service.

Worst experience I have ever had at this Shoppers Drug Mart at Canada Post. I was simply asking for the weight of items. There were no line ups and the weights scale had nothing on it. Two of the ladies said in loud voice that we can not give you a quotes for the price few time and I agreed that I was asking for the weight of the items. They were very rude they did not know how to listen to customers. Management must look into the service of their job, I am not asking for a smile every time I make visit for the service but their ready and willingness should be there to do their job. Not brushing off customers! FYI, Other department of customer service people were always very helpful and love their service.

We’re new to Langley and my first visit to shoppers drug willoughby2113 was absolutely amazing. Manager of the pharmacy Shaimaa and Nadia from pharmacy went above and beyond to accommodate me, being a senior and not being able to go inside the store. They setup my account by phone to help me save wait time, got my medicine ready quickly and Nadia brought it out to my car, verified my Id’s and handed me my purchase. Both very professional and amazingly courteous. World needs more caring people like them. God bless them.

I recently was having trouble booking my 3rd Vaccination and was very happy when Nadia was able to get me in when they had a no show …… thank you so much Nadia for your kindness and help

Rudest and most impatient service I have ever received. During a visit from another province, my local pharmacist sent a prescription to this pharmacy. The prescription had 2 repeats. The Willoughby Pharmacist provided me with the entire prescription, leaving me with more tablets than what I need and what I asked for. On top of that, they charged me twice! We noticed that the pharmacist scanned my card twice, my husband questioned it and she said the first transaction did not go through. When we returned to our province a day later, when the transaction was processed by our bank and reflecting, it was clear that they charged us twice. When I called to enquire about it (after having to repeat the scenario several times because the person helping me did not understand), I was told that there is nothing they can do unless I travel back and show them a receipt. Sure, let me hop on a plane, fly 5 hours and get my refund. Worst service I have ever received. So grateful I don't have to return there again.

I'd rather go to the Thunderbird Shoppers any day, even though it's far out of my way. This shoppers is disorganized, the employees are never around the till, the pharmacy is an absolute joke, and they claim to have items in stock online at this location and then don't even have a tag for the damn product, let alone in stock. When I wanted to get a prescription transferred/refilled they told me I had to physically come in to present my ID before I could even ask for a refill. Never have I had to do that anywhere and I've switched pharmacy's quite a bit due to moving around. Time wasted every time. Makeup section is nice though.

Just noticed as well two people clearly read about the bad experience with Nadia in the Langley community page and decided to leave a good review about her to make her look good. Pathetic.

I am disappointed with the quality of service with the pharmacy at this location. I have had my prescription refilled incorrectly twice now. In previous experiences I have been mislead and outright lied to by several pharmacists regarding medication cost and availability, and whether or not my family doctor had been contacted. I live in the neighbourhood and it is a very convenient location, but I will be using a different pharmacy from this point forward.

I recently had my prescription filled at the shoppers in Willoughby I had the pleasure of dealing a sweet young lady Nadia who went out of her way to be helpful. She was kind and caring spending the time to explain my medications. Very pleasant experience would definitely go there again.

I had a wonderful experience today. The new manager Katie is absolutely amazing. She was very helpful and super outgoing. I highly recommend this location.

I love my local shopper's in WTC. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. This shopper's has a great beauty boutique with knowledgable beauticians and a good selection of beauty brands. They also have a post office which is very handy to have in your neighbourhood.

Today I went to the pharmacy to buy a Tylenol and Arnica Montana tablets recommended by
my surgeon. As the Arnica Montana tablets were not familiar to me, I asked the tallest lady working inside the pharmacy to help me to find the tablet. But the lady just said “All the tablets are on the shelves”. That’s it.
I couldn’t understand why employers should pay the high salary to such a staff who do not have a kind mind toward customers at all.
I went to other pharmacy as I couldn’t find the tablets on the shelves.

Been coming to the pharmacy for a while now, and was suddenly told that wait times for med prescriptions are 24-48 hours. I called earlier that day and they told me it would be ready the day (I'm on medication that has really bad side effects if I don't take it everyday on time). So I asked for an emergency supply and he just kept telling me I can't get special treatment and that I don't have a choice and just put the phone down and gave the prescription back to my boyfriend without even ending the conversation.

Not a way to treat any customer, or a patient for that matter. Was so thrown off by how rude this particular pharmacist was. I've generally have had a very good experience until today. Will never be coming back.

Don't go here if you value yourself and want to be treated decently like a human.

The store is like every other. Front end staff and cosmetic staff are nice and efficient.

The ladies working the mail counter however are brutal to deal with. Unfriendly, unknowledgable, and unhelpful. It's to the point where if I see either 1 of the 2 miserable ladies back there, I will wait a day or a few hours for shift change to not deal with one of the negative ladies.

If you dont like your job dealing with people, quit.

Asked to use washroom. Apparently the owner had to spend money on the septic system so they will not let customers use their washroom anymore. I was told to go somewhere else. I live very close to this store and will never get my prescriptions filled here because of the attitude of the Pharmacy. A couple of cranky staff here can make the experience less than pleasant. It appears that a lot of people have had a similar experience here.

Literally the worst shoppers of all time, it’s kinda laughable. Their ‘security guard’ follows you around aisles to a point I made eye contact like ‘SERIOUSLY’ - it’s so off putting. Issues on till nearly every time I try to check out. I was going to use the pharmacy for a prescription today but after reading the reviews of that I think I’ll go elsewhere. Bummer because it’s conveniently close to where I live.

After the pharmacy lost my prescibtion twice, I got grief from this man on the prescription date being 2.5 weeks back. Really? !? !? ! Maybe dont loose my prescription and fax TWICE!

Like the other negative reviews on here, I've consistently had poor experiences with the pharmacy staff here. The people running this pharmacy need a review course on customer service.

On numerous occasions I have had screw ups here, been told my prescription was ready only to withhold the medications I'm supposed to be picking up for my fiance. This type of behavior is extremely unacceptable. I will never shop at this location again.

Very inexperienced staffs and does not care about their patients well being whatsoever. My mother got discharge and the hospital transferred the documents to them and she is under a special program where she did not have to pay. The pharmacy refused to help out and made my mom pay the full amount on the spot. Since my mother needed her medication the same day we had to pay the amount and now figure out how to get reimburse by pharmacare. I even got the hospital to call back and explain but they refused. Also, the pharmacist said the prescription would take 2 hours, they took 4 hours to do it!

I called them back and Joy was amazing she helped out and went beyond. Definitely changed my rating from a 1 to a 4.

Why is there a security guard at this location? Even on a Sunday afternoon? Not a nice feeling being watched while I shop. Aren't the old fashioned security cameras good enough anymore?

Very bad attitude from most staff. I used to shop there a lot. Spent hundreds a month. They know me by name, but the one time I had an emergency, they didn't even want to help me. Now I shop elsewhere. Keep away from this one.

Shopped here a few times. Customer service was great. There's also a Canada Post inside. Good convenience store.

The manger of the pharmacy is slightly incompetent, I went in a few months ago to fill a prescription, having just moved to the area I had never used this particular shoppers pharmacy. I gave him my prescription and he did not ask me any identification questions and said okay come back later at this time. So I left and came back and was speaking to a very nice different fella and told him I was there to pickup my prescription. He said there was no record of me in the computer and my prescription wasn't there. I informed him I was in earlier and dropped it off with the manager and they couldn't find it. After they investigated and had me wait a very long time they finally found it and the manager had put my prescription under SOMEONE ELSES NAME! Not even similar to my name. It took them forever to fix the error and I had to provide a lot of information while they pulled up the original paper prescription to show that it had my name and my care card number on it. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone! Also despite modern technology up until recently you couldn't renew online or over the phone you actually had to waste time going into the store to renew your prescription and come back later.
