Shoppers Drug Mart

This store personifies- racial profiling at its finest moment. Twice we have been followed around, harassed, and falsely accused of stealing. We made a complaint to shoppers management, but she turned around and told us that we were wrong in harassing her workers. Then to top it off, she retaliated by telling us we were no longer welcome in her store. Our pictures will be posted, and we will be escorted off.

5 stars purely for the pharmacy team. Incredibly helpful at any given time, multiple staff members go way above and beyond for me. It's a pleasure coming in to see them, im always greeted very politely. The team is always on it. I've never had my medication late, they always make sure I have enough even if they don't have everything I need at that time. I've been dealing with pharmacys since I was 11 and this place has been the absolute best. Your team Inside that runs shoppers is pretty horrible though. Many bad experiences. I only come here still for the wonderful pharmacy team. Thank you all so much for what you do.

Clean spacious and well stock, but staff is not friendly at all dissapointed as other places are not like this from same franchise very dissapointed

Went in there 4 weeks ago and bought expensive sunscreen, then realized I.bought the wrong one so I went to return it the next day. Unopened and with a receipt, they refuse to give my money back even after bringing it with my receipt. They told me apparently they don't do any seasonal returns but the website doesn't say anything about seasonal returns not being refunded. So (DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SECHELT LOCATION) your best to get your items from the mainland. THE WOMAN FROM INDIA REFUSED. This is the shoppers drug mart across the mall from the Starbucks.

After a very disturbing experience with who I believe was your store manager I felt compelled to come and leave a review. I first read some of the reviews left by others and feel even more compelled. Some of the reviews talked about poor treatment of staff by a manager and I’m fairly certain this is the person I dealt with or perhaps it was an assistant manager. Either way this person is rude and a bully and I seriously think there needs to be something done to protect your staff. There are a lot of young people working in this location in sechelt bc. It is far too common for a bullying and toxic manager to get away with abusing staff. Please make sure that your staff especially your young vulnerable staff who haven’t figured out how to stand up for themselves yet are protected and being treated well. They work hard for you and deserve a place to work where they aren’t being overseen by a power tripping bully.

Couldn't believe it! Was in today to buy a few things on Seniors Day and when I got to the counter and had my order ready to check out someone came towards me and advised that I would have to use the self check out because she had 3 people call in sick. She said she could help me at the self checkout but I would have to use it. If she had time to show me how to use it (it's not rocket science) then she should be able to do her job and actually check out my order. I don't expect someone to do my job when they come into my place of business and Shopper's Drug Mart should not expect me to do their employee's job. I left the store with my items still on the counter and, as they are too busy to check out someone's order, I guess the items are still sitting there as no one would be available to restock them. Have a nice day.

PS This is particularly bad given that Thursday is Seniors Day and a lot of older people cannot use a self check out nor do they want to.

Good store and lots of items to choose from depending what you're looking for overall there is a lot of items to choose from I did not have time to look and memorize all the merchandises inside there but I do I'm sure that you can find something that you need what you don't have at home so possibly the best bet is to go and stop by and have a look at what everything inside there aisle by aisle to give you a good idea of what you're looking for.

Today I witnessed a terrible act by a lady manager here. Belittling one of the employees for putting cough medicine in the wrong location. She raised her voice and talked to her like a little child in front or Atleast 6 shoppers. I could not believe how rude it was. The quiet nice girl employee said sorry and the older lady would not let it go. It had hints of something very wrong. Her heart is full of hate for this person or they are going through something. I urge this store to look into the conduct of this employee.

I have been to this store several times but never had to go their pharmacy section, today I had to buy some over the counter medication so I thought of asking the pharmacist their, was shocked to see her reaction like she was so not interested in the query and didn’t even acknowledged me like I was invisible. Not impressed at all.

They have very little stock at hand and misread prescriptions. They laughed at me when they realized they had given me an over the counter pain killer when the doctor explicitly stated they needed to give me something stronger. No apology just laughing at my expense. Unprofessional and heartless at times. I've also had them come out to Mt car to drop off a prescription when I had C19, so it depends who's working.

Was over on the Sunshine Coast this weekend and had to visit the Shoppers Drug Mart. Dealt with the Pharmacist on two different occasions, named Rosa.she is one of the worse Pharmacists I have ever dealt with.

She was rude, condescending, patronizing and spoke to my daughter and I like we were complete idiots. Turned away as no ability to keep eye contact while interacting and laughed at the most inappropriate times. Seriously needs to do a self check and work on her interpersonal skills and the way in which she deals with the public.

Jessica was so helpful! She helped me find the right hair dye and matched perfectly the color I needed. She educated me on the products as I have no qlue regarding these things. So helpful and professional!

It's just awful! A big, glitzy, characterless, stamped-out-of-a-mould chain store dropped in the middle of the (otherwise) charming, quiet, nature-oriented Sunshine Coast… I'm sure some people find it convenient—but esthetically and economically, it's just another step in the direction of corporate depersonalization. Sechelt already has four local pharmacies and three grocery stores, so it's not as though we needed it in any way. It's excessive, generic, characterless—and if you live here and are excited about it, it says something about what you consider important.

First time giving a review and wish it was a good one. I was in the store Friday evening and needed some help, I tried to wave to a couple of the workers hanging around the makeup counter and they completely ignored me! They were just talking and laughing, not paying attention to anyone in the store. One of them looked at me and I waved again and she looked back at her little buddy and continued talking. Let's just say this girl didn't have her natural hair color. She is too good for the customer I guess. Really made me mad, I literally could have stolen something and they would not have noticed.

Pharmacist very professional, helpful and kind. I have moved all my prescriptions to this pharmacy. Store good too.

This place is a great addition to the coast. Been here twice in the last 24 hours. Will be back again very soon
