This complaint is specifically against management with regards to the understaffed Canada post office. 30+ people line up and only ONE person working? We waited 45 minutes to mail a parcel. Shame on you management!

Every time when I pick up medication it was never straightforward, they make it hard and question your confirmation before really looking for your meds. For picking up other items, they seem unprofessional and lack of knowledge, giving whatever explanation so they can give me the runaround. Been there many times, every time they manage to make me frustrated. So I’m changing my pharmacy. Won’t go there again.

I called this location to find out if they have something on stock (even though their website said they have it in stock). For 35 minutes, I was bounced around from what I thought was customer service, I was put through to the pharmacy who kept putting me on hold so they could contact the "merchandiser. " After waiting, ther merchandiser finally picked up and asked if another item was the item I was looking for. I offered to give the item number, but they said they didnt need it. So after asking me a second time what the item was they said they didnt have that. So I had a 45 minute phone call, 40 minutes of which was on hold, and 30 seconds of conversation with a person who didnt even seem to try finding my item. What shoddy customer service! I WILL be calling the 1-800 finding out why this store is so incompetent.

Great service and professional advice. Always has my weekly medication ready for me when I need. The pharmacy can get busy and so at times I do wait in line for my pills. Not really a bother though. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

SHER staff is so so rude! What she think of her? She replies so rudely. Terrible experience of getting B12 shots here! First they give appointment and then ask to wait for an hour even after having an appointment. Then they ask to come next time before 6pm without appointment and again ask to wait because they do nit bave any pharmacist available. What is this? Either they should say No we cannot inject or shut down your business! I asked SHER next should I come with appointment or walkin she replied I don't know please ask that lady (pointing to her staff) OMG! Respect your customers!

This place is horrible.my wife bought an item and one of the worker ensures that she can return the item if she's not happy with it.when she tried to return it.the worker totally denied the interaction and refused to refund.and the pharmacy is the worst.really bad customer service.refuses to refund any item even though it's un-opened.they do not honor their return policy.so.my advice to everybody. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Very poor customer service, the man at the pharmacy is a cad, his behavior is very unpleasant, I do not know in which school he went, he does not respect the ethics of his work which is to treat any employee so customers with respect and dignity. He didn't care and did not bother to inform and help the client as he should, while the person was suffering. He needs to change his career if he can't stand a certain categorie of people. What a horrible person, he does not deserve to be there. Shoppers drug mart is known for harrassing and discriminate people.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Shoppers Mart. On April 2nd, I purchased a box of Plan B contraceptive pills for $40, only to later find out that as of April 1st, all contraceptives in Canada are free of charge. I was surprised that the pharmacist did not inform me of this new policy when I made my purchase.

Feeling frustrated, I called the store late at night on April 3rd to request a refund. Unfortunately, the pharmacist who answered the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. He claimed that refunds were not possible and that it was not their responsibility to inform customers about the need to show ID. I felt that the staff were not aware of the latest government policy and were very unprofessional in their behavior. To add insult to injury, the pharmacist even hung up on me before I could finish the conversation.

I believe that it is the responsibility of the pharmacist to inform customers of any changes in government policy, especially when it concerns something as important as healthcare. I was disappointed with the unprofessional behavior of the staff and the lack of customer service. Overall, my experience at Shoppers Mart was frustrating and unpleasant. I hope that the store takes steps to educate its staff about new policies and ensure that customers are treated with respect and professionalism in the future.

This is the most inefficient pharmacy/business that I have ever seen in my life! Poorly trained employees, protocols and procedures that are from 50 years ago and don’t reflect customer needs. 45 min to label a box and enter a prescription in the computer while my 4 year old was in pain waiting! Shoppers I hope to never use your services again never!

Went to the pharmacy for a prescription Monday morning, it wasn't busy. The pharmacist told me its about 35 mins wait. I came back more than one hour later, they told it will be ready in less than 5 mins.i ended up waited another 30 mins, total waited for 1.5 hr when they told me it’s going to be 35 mins wait! Finally when I was able to pay, they found out they messes up the prescription so they had to remake, I waited for another 15 mins so total for almost 2 hour for a prescription that other pharmacy can get done in 10 mins. Only if you got all day, otherwise don’t come here for prescriptions.

I have terrible experiences over the last month at the pharmacy. It used to always be positive but now they seem to hired arrogant people who know nothing. I asked for a basic OTC medication and they told me it doesn’t exist and they never sold it, when i bought it there last year. They didn’t even know what it was and acted like i was making it up. Then they let someone else go ahead of me when i was waiting after I had to come back because they the wrong information yet again. Last time the pharmacist was there and heard it but ignored it and said nothing to the undereducated person working there. This time the pharmacist (different one) was very helpful and explained they did sell it before (obviously, i bought it multiple times last year) and they were just out.

They’re always understaffed and then have staff chatting together even when it’s busy. The front of the store also doesn’t have enough staff. The one cashier also had to deal with the self checkouts, so if there are any problems they have to go through the cash customers first and also to reset the self checkouts.

They need two up front staff and to hire more competent counter people in pharmacy. If you don’t know something then say so. Or ask for help. They seem to put the least competent there on the weekend. Up front cashiers did a good job and i feel for them, but this store needs to hire more people and hire better pharmacy people.

Very disappointing and very frustrating experience. I dropped off my pain relief prescription at 11: 30am, I came back after waiting for two hours to pick-up only to be told they didn't have the ingredients to mix the compound. So during that whole time no one told me the medication isn't available. NOT one phone call, until I went to pickup. Then they said it will be ready later that day and I will be notified. Again, NOTHING! I called and I was told it wasn't ready.would be ready by the next morning the latest and I will be notified. I asked if any other Shoppers would have the compound, the lady said she wouldn't know. I'd have to call each Shoppers myself to check. Such awesome service. Next morning, I waited till noon, nothing, so I called again because I was in such pain. The answer I got was "oh, it's ready". But no one called me. Unacceptable for someone waiting for their pain medication.

Went in to try and do some returns. I was told by the employee that certain items cannot be returned due to safety concerns and this policy was not printed on the receipt but in the website. I went on the website for a return policy and read nothing on the items I was returning while I was there. The employee got fed up and just gave me a return on gift cards and not to my actual card. Please train your employees on company policies so that there clarity for everyone.

The pharmacist has mislead me twice and I no longer trust them. First time they gave Vitamin D3 adult (1000ui) for my newborn who is supposed to get only 400UI. Thanks God I double checked online oherwise it could lead to serious liver damage. Second time they gave Tynelol for 24 mo baby to my newborn. Why so careless?

Safeway is generally expensive. But Shoppers is more expensive than Safeway. If it's the same product and the customer service isn't any better than Safeway than Shoppers loses on price.

Poor customer service.

I had an item I was looking to get store credit for or have exchanged, for which I had a gift receipt for. The gift was purchased at a different store. The customer service rep scanned the receipt and then showed me her screen saying "you see, the computer is saying that we can't process the item". I then pointed out to her that the message on her screen also read "manual entry is required for processing". So I asked if she could manually enter it and she said no because it would make her computer crash

When I asked her if I need to take it to the store it was purchased from she said that you can just take it to another location because some locations will accept it and some will not. I was very confused!

I didn't understand what she was getting at and what she was telling me didn't make sense. I decided not to argue and just took it to another shoppers nearby whom gave me a gift card, no problems.

Today I saw the manger humiliate the employee at the front register, honestly I felt so much rage but held back due to the fear that I might get the employee into more trouble. If someone in higher up sees this that lady (manger) needs to be fired, what an embarrassment she is to that establishment and no one should be forced to put up with such ignorance and disrespect in a work place.

I’m sure there is more than one manger so the date is 11/29/22 3: 20pm and I would describe her, but I’ll probably just come off as rude.

Pharmacy has horrible customer service, moved from downtown to burnaby and live right above the mall. Going to transfer all my medicatiin back to the shoppers downtown, rather take the trip than deal with rude staff

Went to this pharmacy to get a PCR-Test for travel and decided to look around for a few things. I noticed they had Joe Fresh items and I peaked around and I felt as someone was watching me and my hunch was correct. I was probably one of the only customers as it was early. When I paid for three items at the self checkout the cashier and I'm assuming a manager were looking at my as I went through my gym back looking for debit card. Not longer after the cashier asked if I needed help and I decided to pay with another card in my pocket. Anyway, I put the items in my gym bag and not looking I began walking towards the exit by accident as I have never been there and there they were the manager with her scanner in her hand and the employee telling me where the exit was. The fact I have two women looking at me do my self-checkout was rude. Plain and simple. If you think I was going to steal something do it discreetly.

If you aren’t rich, don’t shop at this location. I bought a sunscreen stick yesterday evening, and when I opened it, the balm was already broken and seemed like used. So I thought okay someone might already opened the package so I was just gonna return it tmr.
This morning I was there, with my receipt. The red short hair female worker told me no, because everything on their shelf is sealed. And she looked at me like I was somewhat stupid and don’t know what’s the meaning of sealed. So once something is sealed, it cannot be opened or it cannot be broken? She called the “manager” and said yeah it was sealed so no return. The only reason I left at that time was I had to go to work, so I could earn the money for that product today.

Overall it’s good to have a shoppers drug Mart in the neighborhood. Gave three stars instead of five because the staff is not very nice. For no apparent reason would not accept my return.

Quality control needs MAJOR work! The pharmacist gave me someone else's medications for me, TWICE! How can the public trust a pharmacy that makes these errors? Also, they never ever have RAPID COVID ANTIGEN TEST kits available! This Shoppers is the 'Bermuda Triangle' for Rapid Covid Antigen Test kits because they will go missing in action! The staff who don't work at the pharmacy are fine, but I highly recommend AVOIDING the PHARMACY department at the Highgate Shoppers! In addition, DO NOT GET YOUR FLU OR COVID SHOT HERE because the pharmacists are awful with the needles! I had blood shoot out of my arms when I got my flu shot here! Shoppers Pharmacy at Highgate = a waste of your time, health, or both!

Very bad experience in this shoppers. Bought a wrong item about $8 from here and not open at all. Went to return it after a few days but was declined by the cashier because she told the credit card number on the receipt is different with my credit card. I checked again after leaving there and found the credit card number shows on the receipt is a cellphone digital number. If you use the cellphone to pay, this digital number will be on the receipt. As a cashier, she should know this. Many people use the cellphone to pay. I don't think it's the first time she dealing with this. I don't know if she declines all the customers by the same reason. The worst happened next day when I went to return again and explained this to the same cashier lady. She finished the return process without any problem but she still wanted to find anything suspicious thing on this absolutely normal process. She asked me for my credit card and checked it on both sides. Told me the signature I made looks different than the one on my credit. Eventually, she asked her supervisor and was told no problem at all. I felt so unrespected from this lady. I just want to ask shoppers drugmart does a cashier has the right and responsibility and ability to check customer's credit card and identify the signatures?

I was the next customer in line while the staff walked away from the drop off counter with the customer in front of me helping him. Then another customer dropped by the next counter. The manager walked pass, knowing that customer in person, he stopped and tried to help that customer. He then moved in front of me occupying the drop off counter. The staff returned to the drop off counter but the manager still trying to understand the issue with that customer for minutes. I did not know how much longer it would take them to resolve the issue so I requested them move to somewhere else to get it done that I could drop off my prescription. He refused. I had to raise my voice to make him moving.

They're pretty good but the shoppers on 152 and 88th in Surrey has a guy that will spit in your pills for zero reason no joke. He was like, "I shouldn't of done that. " When I took it infront of him and said you must hate disabled people.

Never ever coming back to this store again, i been to to this store for 20+ years for my medications, they're service was fantastic before but i had a very bad experience from their staff just recently, my doctor made a mistake on dosage on the my prescription and they need to contact my physician to fix it but it took so long for them to reply. I call this store for the update on my med but everytime they answer me was in a rude way like they want me to talk faster because they are so busy, one lady on my third or fourth call that almost yelling at me because she insisting that i dont have any outstanding order for that medicine, after so many days finally they call me that my meds is ready for pick up when i got to the counter after a long wait in line this guy ask me in a rude voice what can i help you with! Hello! We are in the pick up counter, then he charge me without insurance deduction on my med and ask me to go to drop off to window explain why, then another lady staff told me to go in line up. Avoid this store!

They're alright. Just be more conscious of peoples privacy but at least they don't spit in your meds like other pharmacies/shoppers (super common btw)

I transited through Vancouver on Oct 26 for 4 days on my way to Los Angeles. I contacted SDM Highgate to get a PCR Covid Test. I came to the store and spoke to the Pharmacy receptionist. She was unfriendly and impatient, kept telling me to go online to "buy the test first", which I couldn't understand. I eventually did go online and paid Lifelabs $150 and was advise someone from SDM Highgate would call me. The next day, a lady from your store call, When she found out I was leaving on 10/30, she just told me flatly that they were fully booked until Dec 2. I started to panic fearing I could not go to the US. I asked the lady what she could do to squeeze me in. She flatly told me "No Way". I asked her for help and advise. She was rude and very unhelpful, and said I should just try other SDMs. I asked her to send me some info, she said she would send me a list of stores. Guess what, she did not send me a list. I have been a very loyal SDM customers in Toronto for many years, and I have never encounter such unprofessionalism and unfriendliness. I suggest your staff should be given better training on how to deal with customers.

This pharmacy and the staff are waste of time they don’t know how to do the job they don’t know how to deal with the customers wasting my time I was supposed to pick three medicines for the blood pressure up today which the girl had three of them ready for me I kept asking her is the two in one big and one in one bag they were two separate bags she kept saying yes when I come home open the bag there’s only one medicine each bag this is the not the first time it happened it happened before I’m having so much problem with these people every time Dr send them my medicine they never have the right medicine ready they don’t follow up with the file they don’t phone to check if the medicine is ready they don’t call I am 65 years old having problem with my leg having problems walking but I have to go keep coming back-and-forth back-and-forth I am so tired of this I’ve been dealing with this store for a long time and the service now is so bad something has to be doneStarter so rude

Wont recommend this pharmacy. Worst Ahira pharmacy ltd ever, never ever going back to this pharmacy, unorganized, rude unfriendly staff, ignored the vulnerable people, unproffesional, bad experience we had here for me and my 6yr old son getting flu shots, how can the appointment you had for certain time been ignored? And people whos later booked than yours got shots first? What's the booking appointment for? And so you have to talk people dont just wait for your turn in everything, pick up, drop off even shots, you have to ask the staff where
Is going to be your turn or else you will be ignored, i handed to them for flu shots teo forms they will say and asked did you handed to us? I was like seriously? They have so many staff no one ever got an effort to look for our forms if where did it go? Or how they misplaced it, the staff is using cellphone, chatting in the corner,
The other girl just ignored me about my appointment for 610 two times i came back to her, she always asked me can i help you? I was like wow! I will be pulling out my prescriptions from this location the way they ignored clients. Specially kids and older people.

Outrageously terrible service. Horrible experience. Don't go there for covid pre-departure test!
I waited 40 minutes to get my test done and the staff lied about having too many people. She even threatened me that she won't do the test if I complain about the waiting time. Very rude and unprofessional.
Both the business and the staff should be disqualified for providing health services.

So phoned this shoppers this am, as a matter of fact im still on hold as i was writing this review about 10 min now, Inquired about a ps5 console, Spoke with. Ramandeep or maybe Parmandeep & was told they never get it in store that i should go online and preorder, which was inaccurate coz when i called last friday they had it but it sold out quickly, and was told to just call & ask weekly, whch im happy to do since my kids really wants it for Christmas.so when i told this she then changed her mind & told me that they do get it but she doesn't know when which is fair, & since i was being told 3.diff info i requested to talk to the Manager Richard hoping to get a more viable accurate information, was transferred 4 times on hold for about 15 minutes now. It is sad and disapppoiting, poor customer service, not one had any proper phone manners, nobody said their names and nobody waited for a response and just transferred the call to a dead air

As someone who used to work here, I definitely recommend everyone to avoid this pharmacy if you can. Most of the staffs here are so distracted and there are a LOT of mistakes happening behind the scenes. As mentioned by other reviewers, they love to just stand around and chat away rather than actually work. The pharmacists are decent, but they can only be handling so many things at once. They definitely rush through answering questions with patients, although this is mainly b/c they're super occupied all the time. Also, they love to these medication reviews behind your back for government money so be aware of that! I'm rating it 2 stars just b/c I did have a good experience interacting with Elly at Cosmetics. Not all the employees here are bad, but they need to improve for sure.

In order to travel internationally, one must be tested. This Pharmacy is useless in providing information on the what type of test is necessary for international travel.

Not sure how the most incompetent bunch of people managed to locate eachother and decide to work in the same pharmacy but they did it at this shoppers. They need to learn the difference between 12: 25 PM and 1: 30 PM. What's the point of an appointment if they base their schedule on how they feel that day. The bare minimum would be to apologize for overbooking and ask customers to be patient. What we got instead is attitude and a look of "take it or leave it. " Absolutely unprofessional, rude workers.

I went to this location for the first time, and the store was very clean and organized And I was looking for a few items in the cosmetics, and this lady Elly helped me pick the right items I needed, and she was very insightful on the products. I really appreciated her help. I would definitely come back to this location.

I came to do my usual weekly shopping today, but I forgot to bring my mask. One of the attendants, Eileen, wanted $1 + taxes ($. 1.12) for the mask.offended, not only I walked away immediately, but will never come back to this location.

Any electronic good purchased at Shoppers is apparently final sale. They do not advertise this or post it on the receipt. When I asked the manager, I was informed that they do not advertise this policy because customers would ask too many questions. Careful what you buy.
