Went to the beauty boutique because I was trying to change up skincare routine and Cathy was helping me. She was very condescending and dismissive towards me and it made me uncomfortable. Not sure if I will return, I do not want to feel uncomfortable when I am shopping.

5 Pharmacists, 3 beauty technicians, 1 associate working the till and floor. I don't ask for help often, I needed you this time. The 4 self checkout machines don't appear to be useful enough to not have the extra body walking around, somethings you just can't automate.

Also.everytime I come here, the security guard is standing at the beauty desk at the front door flirting with the saleswomen, is your job not to stand at the exit? Maybe walk around a bit? To not face the corner of a wall your entire shift? Such a creep, hope your wife sees this

Thanks for the lady here im in emergency room now! She said she cannot give me medication because the test that they have for uti “does not matter”, which other shopper drugs run the test and give out medications

The pharmacy assistant name Marie have an attitude, seems I own something to her, she keeps saying that drug insurance and health insurance have two ID, and doubt I provide the wrong ID, shows a face that she knows everything above me, and the fact turns out she didn't put two leading "0", and there is no two ID for it, can't stand her attitude, plus she shows kind of bullying attitude to her colleague, bad staff!

Thank you Betty for giving me my Covid booster shot! Happy to have protection when people around me are still getting Covid. I enjoyed our conversation. See you for the next shot. The ladies in the cosmetic department are the best! I drive out from Burnaby to get advice and see their happy smiling faces! Thank you for helping me always look my best while using healthier options. I can wear lip gloss again when I don't wear my mask.

Rude mid 20s blonde/brunette short girl in a blue outfit followed us around the entire store, then as we were leaving i heard her mumble while looking at us something along the lines of "gonna leave without paying and stealing". So unproffesional and also the reason we didnt end up buying anything was BECAUSE she was following us and making us so uncomfortable.

I alway buy prescription medicines at Shoppers Drug Mart in Sunwood square. However, I would not buy there again. So I am really sad because feel she denied my personalty. I do not know she is a manager or supervisor. However, if she were in a position, I would like her to act as a role model for others. In addition, Shoppers should consider it.
Last December, when my husband had cold, he got his prescription and my regular prescription from our family doctor and dropped it off the shoppers in Sumwood square. He got one of his medicines that day and I went to get other medicines next day. That time, I do not know how many medicines my husband ordered except my medicines. When I picked up my order at the shoppers, the pharmacist said she could not give my husband medicines because he still had some. I could not understand immediately she was talking about because I thought my husband ordered cold or cough medicines. So I asked for making sure how many medicines he ordered. He answered from inside in front of the computer that one and more away. That time, the woman who did not wearing a white robe said I could not receive my husband medicines because it was earlier to got them. Also she said “Don’t yell! ”. So I said I never yelled and I explained I just asked why I could not receive medicines. I never yelled but you felt it I am sorry and I explained the pharmacist who talked with me was one and more meters away so I could not hear him clearly and it is difficult I control ed my voice after I had infarction. Then, the woman who did not wear a white robe said “Don’t yell! ”. So I explained it again. Next, she threw my medicines on the counter without explaining about my medicines. After I get home, I saw my medicines. One of them was incorrect. I thought I had mistake to tell my doctor. However, I did not order the medicine over two years. If she made sure it or explained about the medicine without throwing it on the counter, it have been prevented. Also my husband has not received his medicines that he ordered that time.

I was standing there to pay on self checkout, there was an issue with the payment, the cashier lady was talking to someone and ignoring me, I stayed there for few minutes, i decided to use other checkout, but it seems that it charged me twice. It was my first and last visit. Hope the manager sees the reviews and decides to rehire more professional staff.

Absolutely awful and unpleasant experience. The pharmacy staff mislabeled the expiry date of the medicine I ordered. When I tried to ask the pharmacy manager why they mislabeled the expiry date, he said every pharmacy did the same thing. What a irresponsible and rude answer. Please do not go there, they will ruin your day!

Employees watch you and treat you like you're going to steal from them. If you hadn't noticed by me wearing my uniform for work, i do have a job. And i dont appreciated being treated like a theif. Employee worked in the cosmetics department and pretty much followed us around the store. Won't be back. I'll go to another location where i'm not treated like a theif. Shame on you.

Inconsiderate management, extremely rude one manager has anger management issues which is taken off on customers.

We had the pleasure of dealing with Tedra and she was amazing from start to finis, she helped us with perfume and cosmetics and we were blown away by her service! This is by far our favourite shoppers drug Mart and we love to deal with Tedra!

I'm a fan of shoppers overall but this specific location is the worst experience I've ever encountered - the incompetence is absolutely alarming, the pharmacist recommended a product for my new born that's poisonous, when I found out and got irritated and asked for a refund, the manager came and told me to get the F out, I filed a complaint with their head office with a case number, so I don't need the generic response saying call 1800 shoppers because I already have. You guys could hurt people with your incompetent management and pharmacist

Just recieved the best customer service experience at this shoppers, by Ethan. He did a great job of helping us with everything even as the store was about to close. Store was very clean and well stocked as well!

Absolutely a terrible store.i was shopping in cosmetics department friday.was “helped”by an older lady with long dark hair.i would go in once a week.she refused to let me grab my own products.we had a bit of an argument.she offered to get me her manager and instead grabbed the associate who handles the chanel products.i’ve purchased chanel products from this store many times since they began offering it.this associate told me to be quiet (i wasn’t yelling at all) and told me not to come back to the store.that’s when i found out she’s not even the cosmetics manager like i had asked for.what a mess of a store.

Ran in to grab a few things at 6: 45 pm, when I was at check out one of my items that was showing on sale (sale tag clearly next to the item on the shelf) rang up full price. I asked someone about it and she said sales end at 6 every night and she had probably pull the sale tag off late so it’s not actually on sale. They did not honor the sale price even though it was clearly showing on sale and it was their fault for not pulling the sale tags down on time. Very poor customer service.

I read the reviews before making my own. I was going to give a one-star review based on my last two visits to this Shoppers. My problem was how understaffed the store was, and the lady working in the cosmetics area (I think she’s new, don’t remember her from before) twice now didn’t greet me and ignored me completely, I wanted to reach out for help, but didn’t feel comfortable at all. I even tried to look at her, any person that looked at my face would tell that I needed help. Zero customer service skills, but maybe she was too focused on other things.
But I’m giving 4 stars based on my other previous visits. We rush to comment when things go wrong but don’t recognize when they’re fine.
I read people complimenting the make up staff and yeah, in the past I used to feel very welcomed there, even when not shopping for myself or make up. So maybe I was just unlucky those last two times that I went (May, 2022).
And also people are making negative comments about pharmacy staff but I was very well treated when I got my third COVID shot around February, and it didn’t even hurt, it was amazing. So for that, I thank you!
For now, please hire more people!:) and train them to help us costumers. Thank you!

Young staff is very helpful and knows a lot about customer service. She is also kind and nice.

Every time I come here I’m just shocked by how bad their customer service is… the pharmacists are so rude they think they’re making some glorious cancer cure medicines back there… Ridiculous

Had the unfortunate interaction with a pharmacy personele. Needed my medication that was supposed to be filled and ready to go, this was not the case. Made us wait over an hour. First time dealing with them and immediately marzeih the pharmacy rep provided us with unnecessary grief. Next time I only hope that she may work on having some customer service work ethics, patience, courtesy and a dash of respect. Unfortunately I will not continue on as a customer due to this unfortunate conflict interaction. I will be avoiding using this shoppers and will definitely utilize other locations accordingly.
