This Shoppers Drug Mart often does not answer the phone or picks up and says 'please wait 5 or 10 mins' and immediately puts you on hold. There are big lines, they often misplace or done have my prescription ready, and seem utterly overwhelmed every time I go. I will be switching pharmacies and do not recommend this Shoppers Drug Mart to anyone.

The pharmacy is absolutely horrible. My doctor faxed a prescription, I went three days later and they hadn't even looked at it. So I had to come back later that night. My next prescription I called to confirm it would be ready that evening, I was told it would be ready by 4pm. Showed up at 5pm and they hadn't even looked at the prescription yet. Called in a refill a few weeks later and sat on hold for an hour before hanging up. Completely disorganized, dysfunctional, and the staff are always rude when you mention that you confirmed your prescription would be ready, or they try to gaslight you by telling you your doctor never faxed the prescription and then when they actually look at the faxes they find it and don't apologize. They're always short with people who have a question about a new medication. Will have to find a new pharmacy because I can't keep having delays in my medications.

I would give a half star if I had an option. This store is the absolute worst shoppers in this entire city. Not only do they have a very early close time all summer at 7 PM whereas other shoppers drug Mart are open till 11 or in some cases midnight, this store keeps changing its hours and closing earlier and earlier and doesn’t update any of their online sites to reflect that early closed time but also has a post office. For anyone that’s picking up a package. It’s very hard if you can’t get there by there ever changing close time. Worst part about it is that it’s located in a plaza with a liquor store that’s open till 11 a subway that’s open till 10 and 11 on weekends and then also a dollar store that is open till 10. But now their hours are 10 AM till 6 PM in a busy plaza. Makes sense, right?

I had a COVID and flu vaccine appointment today. When I got to the pharmacy there were over 20 people waiting and the pharmacy was running over 40 minutes behind. I couldn't wait as I had to go to work. Now the BC online system won't let me rebook my appointment, making the situation even more frustrating. This pharmacy should not be doing flu and covid vaccine appointments if management cannot staff the pharmacy appropriately to take these appointments.

The pharmacy is terrible here. I have given them several attempts as it's close by home but I will be switching pharmacies immediately.

They take days to fill a Rx, and usually only give me half the amount, don't bother to mention it's only half filled (even though charging me full price). I will call back to inquire about when the rest will arrive and why they didn't alert me to being unable to completely fill it, they assure me it will be in by _. I will come in and they still won't have it, then they will assure me they will call when it comes in. They never do. So I wind up having to call again only to be told it came in before, but again they have failed to call. This is unacceptable.

I also was less than pleased when the one pharmacist, I believe her name is Samantha, always loudly declares what medication I am picking up so other clients can hear. Incredibly unprofessional, condescending woman.

Went to pickup medication. Sign on door saying they are closing early for the next two weeks. They keep switching the hours, so I am just going to switch to a reliable pharmacy.

Pharmacy staff are great and there is very seldom any waiting needed for pre-ordered prescriptions. Dispensing fee a little higher than London Drugs, but it's worth every penny just to avoid the endless lines and hour-long waits for service.

My family member is extremely low income and wasn't aware that there are medications that were covered by the government and meds that aren't. We found out after the fact that they charged a pretty decent mark up. When I spoke to the assistant there they were really quite rude. As a pharmacy assistant myself, I would never talk to a patient like that, especially when its about something as sensitive as money. I hope that this review helps even one person out. Check your pricing at other pharmacies before paying. I would wish that the pharmacy owner/manager could train their assistants to be empathetic and be mindful of the way they say things and treat customers. This was my first time experiencing this pharmacy, and certainly my last.

Bev, who works in the cosmetics department is probably the friendliest, most kind person working in retail EVER. If it weren’t for Bev I bet you’d lose a lot of business at this location. She knows so many of the neighbourhood people and they all seem to love her. People go to this location to buy thing from Bev. She makes it feel like an old time neighbourhood store. Every interaction with Bev leaves a person feeling better about themselves and about life in general. Give this lady a raise! Some of the pharmacy staff could take note…

So disappointed with My husband made a online Covid-19 vaccine Appointment in Shoppers on Nov. 5 @9: 40 in the morning! When the date closer I had called the shoppers asking for if could change another time because our family had some issues, but one of the pharmacist said: ” no, you better keep it or make another appointment “ so I had to adjust our schedule with babysitting our little one……. When my husband arrived on Nov. 5 @9: 40am, he found the shoppers on 10 am! Are you kidding? ! My husband wait until after 10 am the shoppers opened the door and someone told him that his appointment had been canceled because the store opened at 10 am, my questions are: who told my husband the appointment was canceled and who told him the store opened by 10 am …. Before he was there! Thank you shoppers

Went there for a covid shot. Super efficient, super friendly. Thank you thank you thank you. My low rating is because of lack of bicycle parking. There is nowhere to lock a bike in the entire mall. Tillicum is a bike route. It's 2022. Want more business? Tell mall owner to get a bike rack.
