They are fine for the usual Shopper’s stuff like shampoo or razor blades. The floor and cashier staff are mixed but there is self service checkout now.

Avoid the pharmacy. I’ve used them twice and have had the worst customer experience of any kind in the area. I use IDA on Bevan now and couldn’t be happier.

I have always been loyal to this pharmacy, I've been a customer for 15 years now. I use many medications on a regular basis, and I've stuck with this pharmacy all this time because they used to be awesome, but they have put me in horrible positions too many times and I just can't do it anymore.

While I totally appreciate the staffing crisis, the problems of this pharmacy have been going on for well over a year. Several times I have gone to pick up my meds after being told they'll be ready for sure, only to get to the pharmacy and told "oh your prescription got stuck in the system and was never done. " Even when I phone and confirm the pickup time, this still happens often. When I call, I am put on hold everytime, and usually on hold for upwards of 15 min before I give up, as the phone gets silenced and ignored. I have been told many times that I'm not allowed to pick up my meds until a certain date because of doctors restrictions, only to find out the pharmacy made those restrictions incorrectly, not my physician. I work night shifts (in health care) and need my routine meds, and several times due to errors on their part I haven't gotten my meds in time and I've had to suffer through my shift without them. That should never happen even once, and it's happened to me more than a dozen times.

I've had it, I can't take the unreliability and total lack of concern that people need their prescribed medications. I've transferred all my active prescriptions to another pharmacy and won't be dealing with them again. It's sad, because I always liked this pharmacy and I like continuity, but I can no longer sacrifice my own health for their incompetence.

As business owner in Sidney, Im very disappointed from the pharmacy. No act of knowledge when you drop off prescription. I waited for a least 5-7 minutes. There was 7 people working behind the counter and nobody said a word.
I felt a bit of racism.
I will be going to another pharmacy in Sidney.

They lose perscriptions by fax, they are literally incompetent and blame "new staff" the big guy at the front just makes excuses and blames everyone. 2 weeks was enough time, the one before was a week then they said come back end of day (he did and they lost it again) come back tomorrow (he did and it wasn't ready) come back after your done work (he did and they couldn't find it) with is wrong with these prople! Don't take the work you can't do! Close and train your staff then open do it right!
Ida sodney is a frw hour turn around. They are friendly and worth the change. We stayed with shoppers for 11 years plus, because they knew us but you lost us today

Debbie in the cosmetic department is an angel! Such a helpful, sweet woman. Such an amazing experience shopping at this Shoppers Drug Mart. Visiting from the north island and will definitely come back to see her again. She is phenomenal. Thank you Debbie!

Congratulations, you've become everything that our "woke" federal government is promoting. Employees still donning masks, afraid to breath the air, over zealous LGBTQ, "pride vibe" aggressive agenda (the silent majority is sick of this being shoved down our throats.) No one cares who you love or sleep with when you go shopping in a drug store. Stop advertising it, you're a drugstore not a political platform. And lastly your serious lack of human assistance. Only 1 human checkout, and that's just when she's there.
Sad though, you have good products and not bad prices.

The Ellis Family Shopper's Drug Mart has a staff member whom repeatedly, on multiple occasions, tried to forbid my elderly mother from buying eggs. This staff member, [redacted], claimed that she was buying too many eggs, although she only had the flyer listed maximum of two dozen per egg brand. My mother has ceased all purchases form this Shopper's location and redirected them to Save On Foods or Thrifty's.

I've loved coming to this location for a long time. Lately, however, it seems as if the new hires in the beauty department have switched from customer service to customer suspicious the moment someone enters the store. The past three times I've entered the store between 5: 00 and 7: 00pm I haven't been greeted by anyone, but I sure have been followed IMMEDIATELY upon entry. They make it quite obvious they're following you too, as they come over into the non beauty boutique area (QUO, REVLON etc) and just pretend to be busy touching and staring at merchandise, while watching you, and following you to a different isle. I get loss prevention is necessary, and I get that shop lifting does happen. But its as if everyone who comes in solo is guilty until proven innocent. It's quite frustrating, and makes me consider discontinuing shopping there.

Hire some folks to run the store if the company's dividends are so lucrative, come on.

Trying to get hold of this place over the phone is a joke. I’ve been on hold for half an hour on a loop that keeps ringing and then taking me back to the main menu. Surely in half an hour someone would be available to answer their phones.

I’ve been with their pharmacy for over two years, since I moved to Sidney. They are wonderful and do their very best to get prescriptions ready on time. They are incredibly patient with questions and providing solutions when things got complicated (a critical illness that required countless different medications, different payment sources, and home deliveries multiple times every week). Great pharmacy team that truly cares.

I am always nervous to buy anything here due to horrible return policies. I had to fight with management to return a non-functional Nintendo controller. "All sales are final" they said, but the thing never worked fresh out of the box.

Next item I needed to return, once again "all sales are final. " Even though there was no indication of that on the receipt and nothing was said at purchase. I don't trust them and will never buy a non-consumable from them ever again.
