My friends and I came here on November 17th to buy a fragrance for a friend of ours for her birthday. For some of us it was our first time in, while the others have been in before. We can all say with 100% certainty that it will be our last time shopping here.
We were followed around by store associates across the entire store. Every aisle suddenly had someone “working” or “stocking”. Later, security was called to watch us. For no good reason! I bought $170 worth of items from this store (I literally didn’t even have to but I had no choice as I was short on time) and despite us having a points and paying, we were still followed and watched until we left the store.
I’d also like to make a note that there were other customers browsing in our area and none of them were watched or bothered nearly as much as we were. It’s also important to note that those customers were white and we were all brown.
Like cmon. Could you all be any more obvious about it?
I’ve worked in a department store so I know when to watch out for people that would be up to no good. You all really need to step up on your customer service training. This is beyond disgusting.
I also called customer support and received nothing but scripted apologies and NO follow-up from my complaint. And it may just be a shoppers but at the very least I expect that customers are at least treated like customers. That’s the bare minimum.

Has a variety of products if you can find them because every time I've been in there, employees did not exist. The products are also not the highest quality. In my opinion, it's funny smelling dollar tree.

Looked on their official store information on shoppersdrugmart.ca to check the hours (screenshot attached). I got there just before six and their doors were locked. The security guy came to the door and told me they closed at six and to go somewhere else.

Just wanted to say how amazing and helpful the staff at this location is! Had a medical emergency last night and they were all so incredible and helpful to my husband and I. They were all absolutely lovely and hospitable. Not only will I keep shopping there, but good to know that I'm supported in a 911 emergency!

I used to like Whatcom Shoppers for their card selection, not any more. One wedding card? !? Really? !? ! That's unacceptable. They were not sold out, they just had one option. It's June. FYI their Anniversary card selection is aweful too. Not a lot of other reasons to go in anymore.

Unfortunate that the service is not very good and the pharmacy is even worse. They need a new haul of staff that doesnt look like they hate their jobs. Hopefully leadership steps up and puts some pep in everyone’s step:)
